Changing expired password from a JS page
Hi,
We are developing an application in which one JS page will be used to login to the database using database user id and password. If the database user id has expired then the JS page will display another JS page to change the password. While displaying the change password page can be accomplished by trapping the ORA-28001 error, can anybody tell me how actually to go about in changing the password for the user. I am not allowed to hardcode any userid and password in the JS pages for achieving this.

The answer greatly depends on the middle-tier technology you are using.. For example straight JDBC, BC4J etc..
If you give more info on your middle tier technology we could probably help out better..

I bookmarked a website and wanted to print it. It is about a book. Somehow firefox crashed, and recovered. Now i want to print the the last 8 pages but it prints EVERYTHING AGAIN. I tried copying and pasting, didn't work. I really hope you can help me.

I have created an application in jsp and servlets. It has several pages like manager, supervisor accountant. I need to prevent unauthorised users from accessing these pages. In other words I need to implement a filter. Anyone who types a url other than that of the login page needs to be blocked. However I am not able to conceptualize the code that is going to be inside the doFilter() method. Please help

I admit that there were some mistakes in the previous posting. I have corrected the mistakes and now there is going to be no compile time error. However when i put in the login id and the password it is redirecting me to the login page. I think that the front end jsp is directing the control to the controller servlet. But as "YOU" have pointed out in your previous post,
"by default requestDispatcher.forward(...) does not pass through the filter change. If the user requests the login page from their browser however, then they will still get the error message, which may not be appropriate."
I feel we need to somehow make the code pass through the requestDispatcher.forward(...) method of the servlet.

SET PASSWORD FROM SESSION STATE
Hi, I need to set the password from session state but I can not do this when Display As option is set to PASSWORD. In case of Text Field works ok.
How to accomplish this?Acctually I need to implement the functionality of email confirmation, but I thought a simple way is to login by clicking on a link sent by email.

I need to grab the exchanges rates from the below link.
http://www.cbr.ru/scripts/XML_daily.asp?date_req=09-06-2011.
This link returns an XML . I need to get the data from this XML page and post it to SAP ECC using PI.
My requirement is that, process should start from the ECC and grabs the data from the web page which gives you the XML and post this data into ECC using PI. We have a RFC written in ECC side to post the data in ECC.
Please help me to identify the adaptor's needed and what should I need to do to initiate the process from ECC.
Would it be a Async or Sync process ?
I would really appreciate the inputs.

Any particular reason that you want to go for a sync process as then you would need to either use a BPM (RFC to BPM where you use sync/async bridge to get the xml file from the specified link and then send the response back to ECC) or go for a synchronous Java proxy on the receiver side which will grab the exchange rates and then map back to the RFC response structure. In this case, you can avoid the BPM.
Else, as mentioned in Michal's blog, you can break it up into 2 seperate scenarios. RFC/Proxy to File and then File to IDoc/RFC/Proxy which will get the exchange rates into ECC.
Another option can be Proxy --> PI --> ECC(IDoc/Proxy/RFC). Here you can grab the exchange rates from the link in your message mapping through a UDF.

i am new to endeca and ias, i have an requirement, need to get main text from whole html page before ias save text to Endeca_Document_Text property,
as ias save all text in page to endeca_document_text property, it is not ok for reading when show in web page, i use an third party API to filter out the main text from original page,
now i want to save these text to endeca_document_text property,
an another question,
i get zero page when doing the logic of filtering main text from original html text in ParseFilter( HTMLMetatagFilter implements ParseFilter) using Snacktory.
if only do little things, it will work fine, if do more thing, clawer fail to crawl page. any one know how to fix it.

Can someone maybe point a page containing info on the HTML toolkit for me?It's called the API. Since you are using the HTMLEditorKit and an ElementIterator and an AttributeSet, I would start there.
There is no such API that says "get me all the links", so you have to do a little work on your own.
Maybe you could use a ParserCallback and every time you get a new tag you check for the "href" attribute. -
I used to be able to email photos from my Lightroom software 5.7 for MAC quite successfully. I needed to change my password several days ago in my gmail account. Now when I try to email photos I receive a message saying "Failed to establish connection with the outgoing email server. Please make sure you have entered the email account and password correctly."
I have been trying to get help from Adobe for 3 days. I have sent a message through "Get Support", 2 days ago, but no one has contacted me. I have tried by phone, but no one will help me. When I purchased Lightroom in May, 2014, I was able to receive phone help. I am now told that I don't qualify because I am not a Creative Cloud customer. I have been assigned a case number 186291729.

Activation Lock cannot be bypassed, you will have to recover the email and password used to activate it. -
My old Macbook Pro (10.4) died and I need to locate from the HDD where Netscape mail data resides so I can import it onto my new laptop, any ideas where it is located? I have tried home/library/mail.

My 3G unlocked iPhone is not syncing mail or contacts from my mac book pro, using Lion. I am able to get a calendars and music, only. I get the message that I need to reset the password which I have done 3x's on the phone and on the Apple server.
Good to know that, but what can I do to get the mail and contacts downloaded from Icloud onto my Iphone? I am told that the password needs to be reset and I have erased and reset it 3x's already? Should I Restore All Settings or Restore Network Settings or will that result in a situation where I have to have it re-unlocked again? GRACIAS!
