I need to vary up a purchase order and add an attachment at the same time.

I can't see how this is done in iProcurement. I know I can ask the buyer to add the attachment to the approved PO via the buyers workcentre (and only then does the document appear while querying the PO at the header level) but why can't I add a new attachment when I am in iProc when I 'change' my requisition?
The idea is that while the changed requisition is moving through the approval workflow all approvers can view the document which supports the reason for the variance. I loathe asking the chief exec to first go and view an attachment at PO header level first before going back to his worklist and then approving the requisition somewhere else.  It seems a convoluted way for approvers to view any supporting documentation.
I am using R12.
Thanks

  • Help - Need Line in and Aux inputs active at the same time..... Audigy SE

The company I work for purchased 3,000 of the Audigy SE? SB0570 sound cards to replace our aging original SB6 PCI cards used in our call centers. The application and Hardware require that the AUX connector and the Line in connector are both acti've at the same time in order for things to work properly.
Problem is that when I go into the mixer settings (or windows volume controls) when I select one of the inputs to go acti've, it mutes the other two inputs (mic, line-in, or AUX). Does anyone know of a work around to let me activate the AUX and/or Line-in/Mic at the same time??
Our workstations run Windows 2000? (but as a test, I?loaded up another PC with XP SP2 and it exibits the same problems)
Thanks in advance for your help.

We are using the internal AUX in connector to take audio from a vendors custom card, and at the same time we have to take audio in on the flexi-jack input on the rear of the card. The original SB PCI cards we have been using for 5 years allowed us to do this, but these new ones do not. I wrote an e-mail to Creative Tech support and here is their response: Basically it is a no go, so I am now looking at other manufactures that can support our requirements. Good news is that I contacted our supplier today and they are willing to take back all of the cards that are still sealed in their original packaging... about 2,800 of them.

  • How to prevent modifying the same sales order in R/3 & CRM at the same time

    Guys,
We are using CRM 5.0& R/3 4.6C. We have the middle set up. I have noticed that its possible to open the same sales order in R/3 and CRM in the change mode. I believe this could cause inconsistenices if the users modify the same order in different systems. Is there a standar way to prevent this from happening.
Is there something like a change lock like we have the distribution lock?
    Anirudh

    Hi,
As per OSS Note 705200 scenario X, Y and Z are supported with R/3 4.6C. Even if you use Scenario A, SAP wont support that. I would suggest sceario Z to be implemented. This would convert all the CRM order into R/3 order as soon as they are transferred to R/3. As a result the order can now only be modified in R/3 and all the changes would flow back into CRM maintaining the integrity between the systems.
Refer to OSS Note 541113 for details.
    Regards,
    Gaurav Gera

  • Can I upgrade and add a device on the same order?

I am on My Verizon and can't figure out how to upgrade and add a new device on the same order.  Is there any way to do this or do I have to do seperate orders?

Online has a difficult time processing more than one account transaction at a time.  One order has to be completed before the other can be started, and if it involves a change to your plan which won't take effect until the next billing cycle, it won't process the second part at all.
I have found I can get the same online deals by calling customer service and explaining (clearly, politely) that I was unable to complete the transaction online.  They have been able to manage the multiple changes (add a line, upgrade another line, etc) quite efficiently.
The only time they will not match online prices is if you were trying to order from a third party, like Amazon or Wirefly - you will get VERIZON's online prices, not another vendor's.  **Edit - I see you are using MyVerizon...so customer service will be your best shot.

  • Email of Purchase Order and Payment Advice

    Good Morning All
We wish to implement the emailing of payment advice documents to our vendors. However, we are not sure if the changes to the vendor master data required for this will also mean that purchase orders for that vendor will also be emailed. Does anyone know if this is the case or not?

Having done some testing I agree that the requirement for condition data for purchase order output makes it possible to email remittances and not purchase orders i.e. by not creating the MN04 condition data. However, in my testing, when I assigned an email address to the vendor for the purposes of emailing purchase orders, the payment advice produced by the next payment run was also emailed. I'm sure I must be missing something as, if nothing else, this would imply that the vendor would offer the same email address for both purposes. In desperation we are wondering whether we need to maintain multiple email addresses and use the standard number for purchase orders and somehow identify one of the other addresses as that to be used for the remittance.

  • Last Purchase Order and FI-Document Number of an Vendor

    Hi,
i need for an Vendor the last purchase Order and FI-Document Number.
For purchase Order i read EKKO sort this and get the last one.
For FI-Document Number i read BSIK and BSAK sort this and get last one.
Question: is there any faster way (CLASS, FM or TABLE) to get what i need??
    Thanks.
    Regards, Dieter

    HI Dieter,
You can use transaction code ME2L , where you can list of PO issued a particular vendor. List list shows Po no. indecending order. You can double click select the latest PO and through PO history you can get the FI Document no.
I hope this ansers you query.

  • Purchase order and Account assignement category- Change

    hi.,
We are trying to receive the Purchase order of High value components into INVENTORY.
However, most of these Purchase Orders were created with account assignments.
Because of that, if we receives these PO’s, they will be consumed against the object identified in the account assignment.
Additionally, some of these have been invoiced already and would need to be backed out from the finance side.
Question: How can we receive these STO Purchase orders and then make changes through Movement type ( or any other way ) so that the HIgh Value Components that are consumed against that AC assignment can be subsequently moved into Invenotory.
Also, what are the other options ( FI will not open Previous period) so that the PO's which have been invoiced  can be reversed against that AC assignment.
    Thanks All

    hi Rajesh.,
As mentioned earlier, these  Purchase orders are STO's which have been already created and we are waiting to do the GR for the same. Items in the STO PO are of  High value which we need to bring into  INVENTORY.
But, because these STO PO's were created with account assignments, if we do GR now, they will be consumed against the object identified in the account assignment.
Some of these STO PO's have been invoiced already and  FI has indicated that they could cancel the invoices for those STO PO's in previous posting period.
Question again : How can we receive these STO Purchase orders and then make changes through Movement type ( or any other way ) so that the HIgh Value Components that are consumed against that AC assignment can be subsequently moved into Inventory and not to a cost Center (202)
Step (1) Can we cancel the Invoiced items> reverse the GR for invoiced Items>reverse STO for PO ?
Step (2) Can we reverse the STO for PO for which GR has not been done? then
Step (3) Change the PO through ME22N, remove the Account assignment category?
Or how do we correct this situation for
          (1) PO's already invoiced.
          (2) PO for which GR has not been made. How can we receive them into Stock and not Cost center.
    Anticipating a reply
    Thanks

  • Purchase order and FI Document Number - R/3 extractor

Hello Experts -  I have a question on the BW extractors on the R/3 side. Are there any standard extractors out there where I can get Purchase Order information and related FI document number information. In case if I have to create one what tables do I need to reference to create generic extractor. Thanks for your help.
    Regards,
    Venu.

    Hi Venu,
This could be better done on a standard FI extractor by enhancing it with purchase order information.
Atleast, this is the way we did in our scenario.
Have 0FI_GL_4 enhanced with data from EKKO, EKPO tables, with required feilds. This enhancement may not be quite detailed.
Also if you are interested in a complete gen extr. then the above two tables along with BSEG should do.

  • Purchase order and purchasing requisition .

    Hi
What is the difference between Purchase order and Purchase requisition . ?
And why cube are different for them ?
    Regards

A purchase requisition is an internal document that's created to initiate a procurement transaction. The requisition is created to identify the materials that are needed to be acquired and when they're needed. Once completed by the initiator, it's sent to the appropriate approvers.
Upon approvals of the requsition have been provided, and a vendor is selected, a purchase order is created. The purchase order is an external document whereby an agreement is made to procure the materials at an agreed upon price and delivery schedule
The InfoCubes for each of these is different due to the nature of the documents (internal v. external).

  • Migrate Open items - Sales orders/ purchase orders and unbilled deliveries

    Hello All
Can you please tell me the best practice to migrate open sales orders, purchase orders and deliveries due for billing at Cutover to the new system?
Also how can the historical data be migrated? What all comes under historical data?
    Many Thanks
    CM

The way the sales order data is migrated is largely dependent on the number of orders you are intending to migrate. 'Best practice' would suggest you do the following:
    1) Do not migrate any completed orders (they should be kept as 'read only' in the legacy system)
    2) Get the business to close as many orders as possible before the cutover
    3) Stop entry of any new orders during the cutover the period - hold them back and enter them directly into SAP.
Once you have a manageable numebr of orders to migrate you really have two options:
Upload the basic order into SAP (we have usually done this from a spreadsheet using ALE or some similar tool). The basic data is confirmed to order type, order number, order date, customer number, material code and quantity. Any data in addition to this is then added manually to the system by the users e.g. pricing info (this is really important as pricing data is really difficult to map). To do this you will need to have sequenced this correctly e.g. ensuring that the data and config for both the materials and customers are all already in the system before you load the orders.
The second option would be to load them all completely manually - which is why I said at the beginning that really, the best approach is determined by the quantity of orders you need to migrate.
I am sure other people will have used other methods but these two are the ones we usually use.
(edit) P.S. you must remember that 'open' sales orders are any orders that are not yet billed so even if an order is delivered in your legacy system if it has not been invoiced you MAY need to migrate it. But as I metioned at the beginning - it would really be better to complete that order (i.e. bill it) before you close the legacy system so that it does not need to be migrated.
    ========
For deliveries - again, there is no simple fix for this. Because the migration of a delivery demands the migration of an open sales order, the best approach is probably to load the sales order basic data, get the users to complete the sales orders (as described above) and then run the delivery due lists or manually and individually deliver each sales order item.
You cannot migrate ONLY the deliveries, you need to migrate the preceeding order(s) as well. But, again, if you take the approach of closing as many as possible in the legacy system, it will be much easier than migrating them.

However I have a requirement to bring in the related Purchase requisions, purchase orders and receipts from 11i into R12 instance.I can do that using the open interfaces. However How do i link these 3 objects together?
I intend to import the purchase orders first and then import its related purchase requistions and the receipts...In doing so how do i link them together. How do i know that this purchase order was created from this Purchase requistion or this receipt is meant for this purchase order? What is the joiing columns in the base/open interface tables?
    Thanks

    Hi Venkat
    1. To perform ATP do we need all the issues(Sales Orders, Deliveries) and receipts(Purchase Requisitions, Planned Orders) in APO?
Yes you need all the mentioned elements above in APO to do ATP check. Again, you can also extend the scope of the check to further more receipts and issues. All  depends on your configuration of scope of check.
    3. I guess in Apo the planned order and process order is a single elment. Is that Correct?
Yes, technically a planned order can be a planned process order or a planned production order.
