I/O Frozen message in the Error logs

I see very often this message, do I need to take care any precautions, is it going to effect in long run?
I/O is frozen on database master. No user action is required. However, if I/O is not resumed promptly, you could cancel the backup.

Hi,
You probably also have something like "I/O was resumed on database master. No user action is required". right?
I am guessing that you have some type of VSS/Snapshot at the same time. There are 2 step while the VSS process that need to frozen the IO, which might result with this error (first step might take till 60 seconds and second till 10 seconds).
You can check the presentation slide 14 the step on that marked in red (7, and 8).
* You might reduce the time if you stop some VSS writers that you do not need.
- Are you using the machine for services other than the SQL Server? If so, then you probably have several VSS writers and that might slowdown these steps.
- How do you backup your databases, is there any backup based on VSS (like VDI backups)?
- are you using snapshot, in any other way?

  • Info messages away from error log

    Hi,
I'm using iws6.0sp6 and don't know how to get rid of info lines in the error log. They are not interresting.
    Can this be done??
I haven't found a way to do this.
I would only like to get warning and critical messages in the error log.
[19/Dec/2003:12:20:13] info (20299): Internal Info: loading servlet /yrityksille
    /j_luottolista.jsp
    [19/Dec/2003:12:20:13] info (20299): /yrityksille/j_luottolista.jsp: init

Web Server 6.0 does not support this type of log configuration. Werb Server 6.1 does, however.

  • Not getting email on MAcBook Pro, but receiving on iPhone. Getting message "Warning Recent errors logged" It repeatedly states "The Header From: address postoffice is not authorised - please go to control add PHP" But I only have 1 email address.

I am suddenly not getting email on my MacBook Pro, but am receiving e-mail on my iPhone. I'm getting message "Warning Recent errors logged" It repeatedly states "The Header From: address <postoffice> is not authorised - please go to control add PHP" But I only have 1 email address. I'm afraid to add anything on since I don't even know what this other e-mail address is. What should I do? And would this definitely be the cause of my not receiving e-mail?

I pressed check again and here is what appeared:

  • Write the Error log from background Job to the Spool request

    Hi ,
I have a situation where in i need to capture the error log of a Z program which runs as a background job and write that log into the spool request. My Z program calls runs RSEINB00 program using the SUBMIT statement. When this Job fails the error log can be seen in SM37. But i need this error log to be sent in to a spool.
I can read the error log using the BP_JOBLOG_READ FM and can also create a spool using the RSPO_SPOOL_OPEN FM.
The problem is, when the Submit statement executes, due to internal valdation in the RSEINB00 program the program terminates. Due to this it is not able to perform the SY-SUBRC Check and thus doesn't read the log.
Can anybody suggest me how to overcome this problem. I am attaching the code for your refernece.
    SUBMIT RSEINB00
           USING SELECTION-SET 'TEST2'
                           TO SAP-SPOOL
                           LIST NAME 'LOCL'
                           IMMEDIATELY space
                           KEEP IN SPOOL 'X'
           AND RETURN.
    <b>If sy-subrc <> 0.</b>
                 CALL FUNCTION 'BP_JOBLOG_READ'
                  EXPORTING
                    CLIENT                      = SY-MANDT
                    JOBCOUNT                    = i_tbtco-jobcount
                    JOBLOG                      = i_tbtco-joblog
                    JOBNAME                     = i_tbtco-jobname
                   TABLES
                     JOBLOGTBL                   = l_joblog
                 IF SY-SUBRC <> 0.
                 else.
                    message i002 with l_joblog-msgv1.
                 ENDIF.
    <b>
    ENDIF.</b>
    Rgds,
    Kewal
P.S. : any other approach to solve this problem will be appreciated too and the points will be rewarded suitably.

If I select a job in SM37 and I click on "spool" I get a list with separate spool entries for each of the steps, e. g.
    Programmname/Kommand   Programmtyp   Spoolliste
    Z_MM_STAT_UPDATE_WERK  ABAP             1707445
    ZSLEEP                 Ext. Kommando
    Z_MM_STAT_UPDATE_WERK  ABAP             1707459
    ZSLEEP                 Ext. Kommando
    Z_MM_STAT_UPDATE_MARA  ABAP             1721423
    ZSLEEP                 Ext. Kommando
    Z_MM_STAT_UPDATE_WERK  ABAP             1721437
    Z_MM_STAT_UPDATE_MARA  ABAP             1721446
    Z_MM_STAT_UPDATE_WERK  ABAP             1721447
    Z_MM_STAT_UPDATE_VKORG ABAP             1721471
    ZSLEEP                 Ext. Kommando
    Z_MM_STAT_UPDATE_VKORG ABAP             1721521
    ZSLEEP                 Ext. Kommando
    Z_MM_STAT_UPDATE_VKORG ABAP             1721816
It's in German but I'm sure you get the idea. For each Z_MM_STAT_UPDATE and variant I have a separate spool list that I can display.

There is a note # 833665.1 on this which states "The issue is caused by the Host Storage metrics collected by the agent" and also a Patch 8477122 has been created for this issue.
However, there is nothing mention in the Note # 833665.1 about the following one message.
    Feb 2 04:07:34 ndc-m9k-2-r1 oracle[7332]: [ID 566193 user.error] n2a get_local_info: ioctl (get interface flags): Interrupted system call
    Can anyone please tell me
    1. whats the significance of the "oracle[7332]: [ID 566193 user.error] n2a get_local_info: ioctl (get interface flags): Interrupted system call" message in the OS log?
    2. Does this message get stops on applying of patch # 8477122 ?
    Thank you,
    Bhavin

There are a number of known issues with the 10g agent on Solaris and patches are available. I assume you are running the 10.2.0.5 agent since you reference patch 8477122. If this is a brand new agent installation i would start with applying the latest PSU update which contains many related fixes. If you are still getting the error after this, open an SR with Oracle Support with your specific error message.

  • Afabn report to the error log

    Hi,
We are just testing ECC 6.0 where for depreciation AFABN is used instead of AFAB.
However when I run the depreciation in test run it never includes any assts and it says 'Refer to the error log'. But I cannot find anything in ST22.
Can you help where the errorlog can be found?
Are there any differences between AFAB and AFABN?
    Thx,
    Jan

I had the same problem recently and in the Job Log it states no Errors. If when you run the depreciation you select test run but not "Error Analysis" then you will find will give you the list of Assets.to be posted. It does seem that when this is ticked it does give incorrect error message in the payment run for some reason I don't know what the benefit of this error analysis tab is! Hope this helps.

  • Hide message 'N messages. Goto error log?'

    Hi,
    Example:
I use ICCMP_BP_SEARCH for search partners (accounts).
I enter wrong data to search.
Message show: '2 messages. Goto error log?'
This message is reduce performance agents, when it's work with Web UI.
This message is appears at another component/operation too.
How I can hide (deactivate / not show) this pop-up message?
    Denis.

    Hi Denis,
You can enhance the search method. Put a break point at cl_bsp_wd_message_service=>get_instance or cl_bsp_wd_message_service=>ADD_MESSAGE and you will see where the message is set .

  • Error in loading the WSDL file. Check the error log for more details

    Hello,
I am trying to create a Import Adaptive Webservice Model. I am using the WSDL:
    http://www.abysal.com/soap/AbysalEmail.wsdl
I am getting the below error when I choose WSDL source as UDDI or file (I am not using any logical destination)
"Error in loading the WSDL file. Check the error log for more details."
Where can i see the error log? And what is the solution to fix this?
I am able to create the model if i save the wsdl locally on my machine and choose Local File System or File as the WSDL source. But at runtime this fails as the application tries to read the WSDL for metadata info and it looks into the application server for this file.
I also tried creating the old webservice model. And it is able to create the model. But I feel I need to use the new model as this one is deprecated.
    Thanks,
    Sachin

    Hi
For the logs you can search in this directory
    Goto Window->Show view->Other->PDE Runtim->Error Log
please try this may it would help you out, try to create a model for you Web Service using Web Service Model (DEPRECATED)

    Hi,
The Oracle database writes an audit trail of the archived redo log files received from the primary database into a trace file. This parameter specifies the level of trace that should be generated when redo logs are archived. The value of the parameter indicates the level of trace to be generated.
    Level      Description
    0      Disabled (default)
1      Track archival of redo log file
2      Track status of each archivelog destination
    4      Track archival operational phase
    8      Track archivelog destination activity
16      Track detailed archivelog destination activity
32      Track archivelog destination parameter changes
64      Track ARCn process state activity
128      Track FAL server related activities
It can be used in a Primary Database or Standby Database
    for more details see:
    http://docs.nojabrsk.ru/sol10/B12037_01/server.101/b10823/trace.htm

  • SQL reporting - An internal error occurred on the report server. See the error log for more details. (rsInternalError)

I have created an RDL file programatically. When I execute the code I get the error as mentioned below:
Error: Sub report cannot be shown.
An internal error occurred on the report server. See the error log for more details. (rsInternalError)
When I copy and paste the code of RDL file into new RDL file and try to preview the output I get correct result.
Note: The new RDL file does not give any error if the output is seen using preview tab but it gives the error only when executed from report viewer or from internet explorer.
    Any Suggestion/feedback is highly appreciated.
    Thank You.

  • How can we create the error log in a ABAP program

    Hi all,
How can we create the error log in a ABAP program
    Thanks,
    srinivas.

    Hi,
Refer to FM's in the Function Group SBAL. For a change most of the FM's have been well documented. Also have a look at the DEMO pgms. Se38---->SBALDEMO & F4.

  • Can text messages in the incompletion log be found in any table?

We need to store and review the text messages found in the online incompletion log.  Does anyone know if these are stored in a table?  Or if they are always redetermined upon VA01 or VA02 transactions, does anyone know at what point in what program this happens if we need to build our own custom table to capture the messages?

The incompletion log table is VBUV - Sales Document: Incompletion Log
I think the table is filled in one of the following:
    > Function module - RV_CHECK_DOCUMENT_INPUT
    > Include - LV45FFUV: FORM FEHLER_BESTIMMEN
    I hope this helps.
    Gerard
P.s. Also look for structure VBUV_TAB as I think XVBUV comes for here.
