I purchased a cd on my work pc using my iTunes acct. How do I get them purchases to show in my library on my Mac at home?

I dont use my office computer much but decided to download some music today and now I cant view my purchased music in my itunes library on my home Macbook. What should I do t make them available to listen to through my library at home?

Did you fail to save them to your computer before updating?
If so, then you can try contacting itunes support and asking them to allow a redownload.

I'm sure this happened to some of you before but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
I purchased music direct via my iPhone but when I synced with iTunes some of my albums were missing. What is also weird is that the digital booklets have synced but I can't find the songs. How do I get them back?
I know that Apple has a policy to not downloading twice but I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm not all that confident either so would really appreciate the help.

Past purchases can be re downloaded for free > Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
And tap Settiings > Store. Makre sure Music is switched ON.

Thanks for that babowa. If I add my Yahoo account it just goes straight to MacMail and says I already have an account. There seems to be no basic problem with mails going between Macmail and Yahoo. It is just the folders that have disappeared, while MacMail was out of action. I don't think those particular folders were ever on the Yahoo mail that I access through BT, they were just on the MacMail under "Yahoo" as opposed to "On my Mac". I am worried in case I lose what I already have if I press "Restore" from my back up. As you can see, I am not exactly good at this!

All iTunes content on your iPhone - all music, movies, tv shows, and apps should be in your iTunes library on your computer - the computer used for syncing your iPhone with, and your iTunes library should be included with your computer's backup along with all other important data.
You get the songs back with the computer where the songs are located with your iTunes library.
If the computer is no longer available or accessible and you didn't include your iTunes library with your computer's backup, your purchased songs are gone - unless the songs purchased from the iTunes store are available on a previous iPhone that is available and working.

It doesn't magically transfer itself, you have to do it. Purchase may present themselves for re-downloading but things such as CD are only on the old machine or on the CD.
Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Open iTunes and immediately hold down the option (alt) key (shift on Windows) so you get a prompt to select a library, then guide it to the 'iTunes Library.itl' file in the moved iTunes folder. If you put the copied iTunes folder in the default location of Macintosh HD > Users > *User Name* > Music then you don't even need to start with the option key held down, iTunes will automatically look for it there. (Make sure there isn't anything already in the iTunes folder there that you want to keep since you will be replacing it with the one you are moving.)

I purchased an album on my iPhone5 via iTunes. How can I get them into my library to share onto my iPod?

HT3951 I have the LDS Jigsaw Puzzles game ap downloaded to my 1st generation I-Pad. This morning, I made a purchase of an additional puzzle picture pack through the app. How can I get the purchase to download?

How can I get this paid-for purchase to download? Ever since making the purchase from within the app on the I-Pad, it has been stuck on the screen with "Please Wait" showing. I can leave the app and run other apps, when I return it is still on that same screen. It took 11 hours from the purchase time until I received a receipt in my e-mail. I had the screen active on that for close to 1 hour following the purchase, then had to go to a different location; I was not at home at the time. I have tried to get it to complete here at home for over 1 hour and tried to find the purchase in the I-Tunes store from my laptop computer, and get a report that all purchases have been downloaded.

This morning, I did a power down and reboot of the I-Pad, that got the "Please Wait" resolved. I then tried clicking on the additional picture set and it did download and install, so the problem is now resolved.

In an outgoing email message the "attach" document icon does not work in firefox. It does work when using internet explorer. How can I get the "attach" key to work when using firefox?

Using firefox, if I am composing a new message in my hotmail account the "attachment" icon is not active, so nothing happens when I click on it in order to attach one of my word documents.

Connect the iOS device to your computer restore via iTunes. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode if necessary to allow the restore.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

Click your Apple menu icon top left corner of your screen.
From the drop down menu click About This Mac.
If Mountain Lion is installed, it will say: v10.8
If not, launch the App Store. From the App Store menu bar click Store > Check for Unfinished Downloads
FYI .. for downloading Mountain Lion from the App Store, a high speed (broadband) internet connection is strongly recommended by Apple as noted here > iTUNES STORE - MAC APP STORE - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
If you need to reinstall OS X or repair the the startup disk Mountain Lion Recovery, that requires broadband access to the internet via Wi-Fi or an Ethernet connection. OS X is downloaded over the internet form Apple when OS X Recovery is used for reinstallation.

If they were songs you purchased from itunes, try redownloading them from your purchases...
if that doednt work, make sure the optuon to copy files to itunes media folder is checked in settings, then find and download from the net. and re-add them to your library

It shows on iTunes SOME of my past purchases, but not all (looks like around 30-40% of purchases).    It shows on my apple id purchase history everything i have purchased; but in iTunes, some not all of these show up.    What does show up is kind of "greyed out", so NOTHING will actually play.   I have followed the steps in the iTunes support about how to redownload past purchases, but this dowsn't work, as the download button is also "greyed out".
I am extremly angry and upset about this issue. Could someone please help / advise re how to fix????
