I recently backed up my iPod photos onto iCloud, I want to know where exactly the photos are stored

pls help

iCloud only backs up photos as part of an iOS device backup. These backups cannot be viewed or items in them browsed separately, they can only be restored in full back to an iOS device.

When you connect the iPod to your computer and go to the Music tab to select which music you want to sync, iTunes will pop up a dialogue box that if you sync your music it will replace the music that is already on the iPod.
Since that sounds like what you want to do, just click ok and then sync.

Navigate to Settings > General > Software Update and install any updates available.
Navigate to Settings > General > Reset > Erase all contents and settings on the device you want to restore.
When this completes and the Set-Up Assistant starts, choose "Restore from iCloud Backup" and enter your iCloud account and password. You will see the three most recent backups for each of the devices on which you enabled Backup. Choose which backup to restore from.

  • My ipod touch recently cracked the screen is not very broken, I'm from Brazil and bought my ipod touch in Miami want to know where I can fix it there in the united states

my ipod touch recently cracked the screen is not very broken, I'm from Brazil and bought my ipod touch in Miami want to know where I can fix it there in the united states? And how much it would cost?

Apple will not take it as a trade-in for an upgrade to an iPad touch
The will take it for recycle only
Your best bet is to sell it on your own and then use those funds to get the new iPod.

Thank you for your reply.  I have been backing up my entire computer and when I follow anything having to do with Lightroom I am not finding actual photos.  I hope to find the photos that have been backed up along with updates to them that my wife has been performing during her edits.  Found Lightroom 2 catalog Previews/Lrdata.  Could that be it?

  • Can I limit how much/many photos are stored in iCloud photos(beta)?

ex. my most recent 1500 photos/4GB etc.., to manage iCloud storage space just like the old iCloud photo stream had a limit? I'm just wondering if anyone has experience on this yet? I would assume there must be some type of allocation dedicated to backup and then to miscellaneous like photos, documents etc.. depending on whatever storage plan you have purchased. I cannot find any clear direction that would explain this? I have so many photos I don't want to be bumped up to a TB of space when I'm also saving them locally on my Mac.
    THANKS!

maybe I'm overthinking this one and I just need to offload pics to my local machine  when I reach a capacity/number of pictures I want to be accessible in the cloud?  Would love to know what exactly the features of the upcoming photos for Yosemite are, as that may answer my questions.

I lost my ipod and I need to know where is the last location before its off.(its definded in icloud)

    Your welcome.
If you don't see it on the map now when you go to icloud.com and check Find My iPhone, if it is shown on the device list you can click on the device, then check the box next to "Notify me when found" (see image below) and you will receive an email when it goes back online, if ever.  The email is sent to the email address associated with your iCloud ID.
There's nothing else you can do.  I don't believe iCloud support can tell you it's last location either once it's cleared from the map.

I suspect you have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to iOS 4.2.1.

    Dear Sir/Madam
I want to tell you that I am very disappointed because I just read that in photo stream my photos are stored only for (30) thirty days.I didn't know that and I didn't have the time to save them on a device.
I was robbed of mobile before (3) three days and I lost 2.000 photos!
Is there any possibility to retrieve them?
If it was possible that would be great as I would save them immediately to my computer instead of losing them again.
    Thank you for understanding

  • How can I see what photos are stored on iCloud?

How can I see what photos are stored on iCloud? I haven't used Photo Stream before so there are no photos on there that I can see.
    Help needed ASAP.
    Thanks

If you haven't used Photostream there won't be any photos "actually on iCloud".
Any photos stored as part of an iOS device backup can be viewed on the iOS device after restoring the backup to the iOS device. They can't be viewed online.

    Good day AMELIASARAH,
One resolution to your issue would be to update your iPhone using iTunes on your computer rather than over the air. This requires much less space on the iPhone as most of the work is done by the computer. See this article for how to do it -

  • Photos are stored on external disk

Hi there! A number of my photos are stored on an external disk; is there a way to transfer/incorporate these photos into my library to avoid carrying the external drive around whenever using iPhoto? Thanks

Do you have a default "managed" library (the iPhoto preference to "copy imported items to the iPhoto library is in its checked state) or a (The iPhoto advanced preference to "copy imported items to the iPhoto library" has been unchecked) which is strongly NOT recommended.
If you have a default managed library then simply import the photos into iphoto and they are thee - the source is not needed
If you have a referenced Library then you can use iPhoto Library Manager - http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/ -  to rebuild it as a managed library (projects, slideshows and other items that are not sharable will not be in the new library)

  • Can't remove photos from album? Photos are stored in their current location, iphoto

Can't remove photos from  Aperture album unless I send them to Trash? Photos are stored in their current location, iphoto

There are only a few images that I want to delete, not entire albums. I want to avoid syncing the iPad with the new computer, but it's looking like that may be my only option...to delete all of the iTunes synced photos then start from scratch since I still have the original images on my backup drive. Maybe send them to myself in email/through dropbox and save that way so in the future I can delete at will.
I just want to avoid all of that, save myself some time, so I figured I'd do as much asking as possible first.
