Also, can I use music as backround to some of the slides, not to all of them as I'd like to play videos on the others?
I have reinstalled the drivers. I watched it install the realtec and cirrus drivers. Hovering the mouse over the speaker icon says 'speakers: HP'. They are actually 'Creative'. 'Properties' indicates 'IDT High Definition CODEC' and 'This device is working correctly'.
Driver details gives 'c:\Windows\system32\drivers\dmk.sys'.
There is still no sound, although the little level meter on the control shows a green bar rising and falling.
Obviously, it thinks it's working, but there's no connection to the speakers. They're not muted, either. I checked that too.
Any other ideas?

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
The section Install missing components has advice on breaking down the iTunes installer into the individual .msi files which might prove useful if AAS won't install normally.

My iPod nano needs to be format, but it doesn't format using fat 32. And it says that it is corrupted. What should I do?
As I connect it to itunes, it shows that it needs to be format. When I try to format it (fat32) it doesn't finish. And it says, the ipod appears to be corrupted.similar to what is happening to me....the difference is, after restoring itunes detect ipod and ask to restore again and again....
I know it may look kinda stupid but: just leave the ipod there for about 2 minutes, that's about the time my itunes is taking to detect my ipod...if it doesn't work, try connecting ur ipod to other computer with itunes (no need to sync, just to check if itunes will recognize) to check if the problem is with the ipod or with the itunes and/or computer. -
I have a problem with my iPhone 4s. Location Services is turned on, but off in applications and I can not change it. It's just marked in gray. What should I do?

Iphone is locked but I can't restore because "find my iphone" is on. I'm prompted to turn it off in settings but, obviously, I can't because I'm locked out due to too many incorrect passcode attempts. What should I do? PS: I downloaded IOS7 today. My passcode was never enabled! But after I installed the new software it automatically turned it on. I hadn't used it in so long, I couldn't remember my last passcode, hence the lockout.

I had rented some movies on Itunes put them onto my Ipod classic, after I had watched them although they had expired they did not delete form the rentals list and almost one year later they are still there. That is stealing. Your friend has no right/licence to give the songs to you. It violates copyright law.

My MacBook won't connect to the Internet, but it's connected to my router. When I go to network preferences, it says that it has a self assigned ip address, and can't connect to the Internet. How can I fix this? Please help!
First thing you need I think is to get your iMac connected to the Internet.
Shut down your iMac and you iPad. Then power off your router. Wait 30 seconds and power up the router.
After the router indicates that it is connected to the Internet then start up your iMac and see if it connects. If the iMac connects to the Internet then your iPad should too.
If this power up sequence doesn't work you'll have to dig into the router setup to make sure it is working properly. -
my ipod touch was submerged in water and now it is telling me to connect to itunes, but itunes won't connect until i put in the passcode, and i can't do anything to my ipod until it connects to itunes. so, basically i can't do anything from the ipod or to it from the computor. what should i do?
Restore...
From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.
There's more to try but let's go a bit at a time. -
i just got my mac, and created a apple id, but when i tried to accept iphoto from the app store, it said: these app cannot be accepted by your apple id. it was already asigned to another id's purchases list. if you don't have accsess to that apple ID and want to receive future updates you will need to purchase.

Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple Id to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with another Apple ID with a new ID. -
Old IMAC with 10.5.6 OSX. Forgot Administrator password (which I had already changed.) Followed instructions as per http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1274
Started up from the original OSX install disc 1 and selected "Password reset" from "utilies" in Installer. But HD icon doesn't show up. (Only install disc and admin root available:no good as the support website underscores: Important: Do not select "System Administrator (root)". This is actually the root user. You should not confuse it with a normal administrator account.).
What can I do?
