I share a mac computer with my wife. We both have our own log in. We got her iTunes match and it works fine. I log into my side and got iTunes match and its not working. HELP me
I got imatch for her and it works fine. When I got imatch it does not work. is that because imatch wont allow the two accounts to come from one computer? if thats the case how do i get my money reimburesed?
At this time iTunes Match cannot be used in more than one User Account in OS X. iTunes Match is associated to one Apple ID per computer MAC address.
To request a refund you'll need to contact iTunes Store support directly.

My wife and I BOTH want to contribute to the same “family" photostream album. We both have our own iPhones. Is there a for both of us to contribute to the same album from our respective iPhones that we can then share with everyone?
Your question is almost too much a personal one, begging the question "do we (husband and wife) feel comfy sharing one account on the Mac" maybe thats why nobody answered you.
It doesnt complicate anything, but it adds steps for switching accounts on the Mac/ purchases etc. of course
since your question is mostly personal, ..I wont answer THAT part of it, but creating a new account is easy.....messing with switching back and forth is also a personal preference 'issue' as well. I prefer to keep things simple, but...........you and yours, I dont know.......

My husband and I share a macbook. We each have our own log-in and we each have our own itunes account. How can we use home sharing?
First, you need to understand that there's a difference between "syncing" and "backup". Backup is the saving of content and settings, where syncing is the bidirectional transfer of content for an account to a web-based server (like iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, etc.)
If you see your calendar in your iCloud account, that implies that you have set up your iCloud account to host (sync) your calendar, and perhaps contacts, email, and notes. An iCloud account can only sync one user's information at a time so it is intended to support a single user. You can have more than one iCloud account, and you can even have more than one iCloud account on the same device (but one has to be primary, and the secondary iCloud has limited capabilities), but a single iCloud account only supports a single user's content.
Backup is the saving of your device's content and settings to use in case you need to recover these things, but you can't see the contents of your backup (just the size and device name). You can backup more than one device to iCloud and you can backup to iCloud or you can backup to your computer, or both (one at a time though, you have to choose).
So, if your wife has her own email and calendar she can certainly do that in parallel to whatever account(s) you have for email and calendar. But if you have only one iCloud account then only one of you can use it for email, calendar, etc. But the backup of these accounts is really just a backup of the device's settings that link the device to these accounts. For example, if she uses Gmail then the backup of the iPad only backs up the fact that your iPad is set up to use her account, it does not backup the account itself (the content of her account is saved and preserved on Google's servers, not your device's backup).
Does that make better sense? -
Hubby and I both have our iPads, laptops, and apple/iCloud id's. We both sync everything to iCloud. My iPad is the newest device - got it about a month ago.
I have created many inbox folders on my laptop in my email. We just noticed that many of my inbox folders are showing up on his iPad in Notes. They look like "major headings" or "categories" for lack of a better term. There are no notes or anything under any of these categories. We've tried to delete these "categories" from his Notes, but can't do it. What's happening, and how can we fix this?If you are using a PC, log on to iCloud using Safari (rather than Explorer) to reset the photostream. Then turn iPhone/iPad photostream off and back on. I was getting the same server error as you and this advice from another blog worked for my iPhone and iPad. But I still can't get photostream deleted from my apple tv. There does not seem to be a photostream on/off control In Apple tv 4.4 software. I tried switching the screen saver to one of the ones that comes preloaded on the device, then back to photostream but all the old photos are still there. If anyone can help with this, I would appreciate it.

Help
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

We want to keep our separate ID's. How can I accomplish this? Do I need to set up a family appleID for the desktop or use one of the existing accounts? Thanks for the help.
If you don't mind sharing everything, you can share the same apple ID. I do think it limits your ability to facetime, but I'm not sure on that.

I have an ipad and just bought a second one for my daughter and she wants all my music on her ipad. All the music is under my itunes account yet she has her own itunes account so she can have her own apps and purchase apps with gift cards (She's only 9)
I subscibe to music match under my account but it wont let me put my music on her ipad under hers or even my itunes account. I get some sort of 90 day error message. How do i get around this so I can let her have my music on her ipad?iTunes Match is not sharable across Apple IDs. The best way to get the music on her iPad is to leave hers signed into her Apple ID on the iTunes Store and sync via USB.

My husband and I recently got married and we both have our own laptops and iPods with our own individual iTunes library. We would like to share the music we have downloaded over the years. I have read several discussions on the forums and think maybe Home Sharing is the way to go- but if I sign in my iTunes on my husband's computer, will it delete his iTunes library? I'm not very computer savvy.
I tried attaching some songs as e-mails and sending them to him, but it would only allow him to add the songs I retrieved off of actual music CDs to his iTunes library- he could not add songs I had paid for through the store.
If anyone could help us figure out if there is a way to share our music across both libraries/iPods, we would be greatly appreciative!!

Also, we use Windows, not Macs, if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance!!!if I sign in my iTunes on my husband's computer, will it delete his iTunes library?
LOL! If Home Sharing deleted the other person's library, then Home Sharing wouldn't have too many users, would it?
Seriously, Home Sharing sounds like a fine solution to the need you express.
However, your question suggests that your library is not backed up, right? You and your husband should each make a backup of your libraries. -
my daughter and i share the same i tunes account but want to have our own now. how can i set up a new account just for me and still move or transfer my existing apps, contacts etc?
Yes, with the credentials of the account that the media/content was purchased with.
Content is permanently tied to the account it is purchased with and cannot be merged, moved, or transferred to another account. -
i have a generation 1 ipod touch my wifi is not working, under setting the wifi says no wifi and is gray. i have tried resetting it and its not workin. what should i do, please help. thanks
If a restore did not fix it, you have a hardware issue--possible bad wi-fi radio.
