I synced my iPhone to the 5.0.1, but when i did that it deleted some of my apps and i cant find them on itunes. How do i get them back?

My iPhone apps messed up big time. My iPod apps downloaded onto my iPhone, so i had to delete those. I know that i didnt delete the MusicDownload app but i cant find it anywhere. I paid $2.99 on that app so i thought i could find it on itunes but it wasnt on there either. How do i get this app back?

apps are tied to appleID not to ios devices or to computers
you can never buy an app more then once with an appleID and any attempt to do so will result in a free redownload
in app store on ios device one can access a list of all apps ever bought on the appleID and you can redownload them you can also limit the list to all apps ever bought on the appleid not currently installed on the ios device
sounds like you messed up your backup and restores and in the process likely what appleID's your devices are connrected to

Some email accounts allow for note syncing. I would recommend adding the email account back to the device and turn note syncing on.

Photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days. If it's been more than 30 days their gone now. If it hasn't, you would have to set up iCloud on your PC as explained here: http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/pc.html, then sign into your account and enable photo stream.
Camera roll photos would be included in your iCloud backup, if you had one, but could only be access by restoring the backup to another iPhone or iPod Touch. Also, Apple deletes backups after 180 days of inactivity.

Are they still listed on your device when you go to Settings>iCloud>Storage>Numbers? If so, they should still be in iCloud but you may need to contact support to find out why the Numbers app isn't able to access them: http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/.

Did you backup the iPad first? If you did - restore from the backup in order to restore the photos in the Saved Album on your iPad. If the photos were synced to the iPad, then sync them back again via iTunes.

If you did backup first, you will be restoring your most recent backup and you should be OK. But know that when you restore from a backup, you restore everything that is in that backup onto the iPad .... All documents, device settings, all data and so on. You cannot just select photos to restore to the iPad. It's all or nothing.

Everything should be on your computer.
You should be syncing contacts and calendars with your comptuer regularly.
You should be transferring all itunes purchases to your computer regularly.
You should be importing all pics taken with iphone to your computer regularly.
Most especially before any update.

Please see the bold. If you're out of icloud storage, then you won't be able to backup to icloud unless you purchase more storage, but yet you said you backup to icloud.
If you really did backup to icloud no data would be loss - sounds to me that it didn't backup since you had no more free icloud storage space.

You must get 10.6 if they still have it, install it & update to 10.6.8 so you have the App Store to buy & download the huge 10.8 Installer.(10.9/Mavericks is the only download avaiable now without specially calling Apple).
