I must have posted it over one hundred times on this forum, but I am happy to copy over one of my typical responses to those who have the "PowerPC app not working in Lion or Mt. Lion" problem for your consideration:
Unfortunately you got caught up in the minor miracle of Rosetta. Originally licensed by Apple when it migrated from the PowerPC CPU platform that it had used from the mid-1990's until the Intel CPU platform in 2006, Rosetta allowed Mac users to continue to use their library of PPC software transparently in emulation.
However, Apple's license to continue to use this technology expired with new releases of OS X commencing with Lion (and now Mountain Lion). While educational efforts have been made over the last 6 years, the fact is that Rosetta was SO successful that many users were caught unaware UNTIL they upgraded to Lion or Mountain Lion.
Workarounds:
1. If your Mac will support it, restore OS X Snow Leopard;
2. If your Mac will support it, partition your hard drive or add an external hard drive and install Snow Leopard into it and use the "dual-boot" method to choose between your PowerPC software or Lion/Mt. Lion;
3. Upgrade your software to Intel compatible versions if they are available, or find alternative software that will open your data files, modify them and save them;
4. Install Snow Leopard Server (with Rosetta) into Parallels or VMWare Fusion for concurrent use of your PowerPC applications with Lion or Mt. Lion:

NOTE: Computer games with complex, 3D or fast motion graphics may not work well or at all in virtualization.
Workaround #3 appears to be the OP's best solution in this case.

I had to wipe my phone clean because of storage issues. I was able to restore my backup from my time machine ext drive to a new 1tb seagate ext drive. so i felt sort of ok. but yesterday that older ext drive i used for time machine wouldn't open! i called applecare and they trouble shooted with me and said it's probably a goner and data is probably corrupted. it's only a few years old and i'm very careful with it. my husband accidentally dropped my new drive last night -- i know, unbelievable, i was SO upset, poor guy -- but I'm so stressed with all of this. i have 10 years of photos and videos. so now i only have the one newer drive with a backup. i have to buy another one today to backup again so i at least have two backups. i tried to delete a ton of files last night to free up the 30 gb of space i need to get my full library back on my mac. i have 90gb free and deleted 7 years worth of photos i had on picasa that were in my "pictures" folder and also a ton or random photos and videos i had in that same pictures folder and thought that would give me the 30 gb but it hardly freed up any space at all! do you know why that is? all of this stuff is really a pain and really stressful. thank god i did have a backup in the first place but now i am panicked the one i have left will somehow crash. especially after my husband dropped the drive lastnight! it didn't fall far and fell onto a wood floor and seems fine, but after my older ext drive crashed yesterday -- and i lost my entire iphoto library a fewweeks ago off my mac -- i feel cursed. any answers you have would be great. thank you.

No, unfortunately, when you format a drive, it will erase all the contents. So you will need to find a temporary "storage" place to put the stuff using a PC so you have access to it. Then reformat using Disk Utility (Applications > Utilities). If only using with mac, format Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and use GUID Partition scheme under Partitions/Options. After formatting, you can drag the files back.

I completely understand what is happening. I know that you are connected to the Internet. I made the suggestion because I have seen it work in similar circumstances. The Apple iTunes servers can be a bit fussy about things and sometimes rebooting the router clears up this miscommunication between iTunes and your network.
Have you tried signing into your account and then try to sync again. Go to Store>View Account. You will have to enter your password. Then try to sync again. Or try signing out completely in Store>Sign out. Quit iTunes, sign in again and then try to sync again.
Sometimes refreshing settings will help clear up weird problems.

It was helpful in understanding how Photostream works, but, unfortunately, doesn't really reference my problem since it assumes that the photos were originated on one of my Apple devices. The photos I want to copy to my iPhone are in an album on iPhoto but I had originally downloaded them from my camera to my iMac then moved them to the album. The confusing thing for me is that they are 3 of a dozen photos takern over a period of 12 years on different digital cameras (two were taken on film and later scanned and eventually moved to the album in iPhoto) and all but three of the photos moved to photostream and are on my iPhone. It is those three, which were all taken on digital cameras and moved to the album, which I can't get to move to Photostream.

Hi, I tried to copy an application in EAS an got this error:

Failed to add application [apsname] to project at Shared Services with Error [Adding following Apps to Project failed : 'apsname_essbaseservername_1.ESBAPP;'.]
Any idea why it appens?
We have restart Shared Services afterwards and got the same error.

One possible solution would be to :-
1. Open Microsoft Word > File > Open.  
2. Paste the corresponding URL: http://<shared services server name>:<shared services port number>/interop/content in File name.
3. It will open a "Interop Realm" interface. Provide the username and password for Shared Services.
 4. Go to Files.
 5. Go to Project.
 6. The problem application will be listed here as project.
Right click on the project and delete it.
 7. Close the connection.  
7. Login to Hyperion Shared Services.
 8. Go to the Administration menu. 
9. Select "Recover LDAP" and let it complete.
Then try to create the application in the EAS console with the same name and copy the application again.

You should only make purchases for all your devices using a single Apple ID. There is no need, and indeed a good reason not to, set up a new Apple ID with each new device purchase. While items purchased under different IDs can be played on a single device, you cannot merge Apple IDs and it makes it cumbersome.
Apple IDs do not expire but may become dormant and require reactivation if they are not actively used.
You should make note of your Apple ID and passwords and keep a record of it. Like a bank account it contains access to items with value. Update your Apple ID email address as they change.

I'm not clear on how you're trying to print. When you select Print from the file menu in Pages the current document is already selected. Perhaps you need to show the details in the print dialog. The first screenshot is from Mountain Lion the second from an earlier OS where you click the blue down-facing triangle button (sorry, I can't remember which one).
