Try this.
Sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to download again.

How do I access the iBooks Store?
An Internet connection is required. On iOS devices, iBooks includes the iBooks Store. Tap the iBooks icon and your bookshelf appears. In the upper corner, tap the Store button and the bookshelf flips around to reveal the iBooks Store. From the iBooks Store, you can browse books by title, author, or genre. You can also view featured books as well as books available on the New York Times bestseller lists (United States only). Tap on a book to see more details and download a free sample. I've checked throught the settings on both devices and can't figure out where i went wrong. When i download an app on my ipod, it disappeaers before the download is complete but shows up on my iphone. Weird!

Is the app compatible with the iPod?
It also appears that yu have automatic downloading turned on. On the iPod go to Setting>Store and turn Automatic Downloading for apps and other items too if you want.

You have two PDF "reader" plugins installed. Try disabling one of them. Tools > Addons > Plugins

Answers to the similar "No Content" question seem to say I should turn off ZoneAlarm. However, I can't find this option in iTunes and some Googling suggests that ZoneAlarm isn't actually an integral part of iTunes anyway so that doesn't seem to have helped.

Try to reboot your iPad: Press and hold the power AND home buttons at the SAME time for at least 10 seconds (ignore the red slider to shut down) your screen go blank momentarily - keep holding both buttons - until the Apple Logo appears, then let go of both buttons and your iPad should [hopefully] restart.

Unfortunately once all the 3 iCloud accounts have been created on your device, you cannot create any more regardless of what you do. You will need to re-use one of the accounts that you have already created or create your new account on another device or computer.

Today, I went to the mac store and asked the staff about above issue. Apple obviously sent me a mac air which was manufactured before October 2013 and therefore, iworks and OX Mavericks weren't installed. I have refund for around £45 to purchase iworks. Check your mac's Serial Number.
Some people have problems with missing serial numbers on their Macs and that's the message you get when this happens.
Click on the Apple at the top left of the screen, open "About this Mac" and click on "More Info". You should see a list with information about your Macbook Air. Check that on the Serial Number field you have your Mac's Serial. If you have "SystemSerial#" written instead then that's your problem.
You can re-enter your serial number if you have a USB CD drive, it's not very straightforward but I can walk you through it if you need it.

If you backed up the iPhone to either iTunes or the iCloud, restore the backup. If not, the data is gone.

Thanks. Short of the sort of "generic" suggestions of restaring your system, if you haven't, and repairing disk permissions and verifying the disk, I don't have any advice right now. I'll do some research and see if I can come across anything. Meanwhile, someone else may have an idea.
