If I go tot this window on finder and enter Time Machine I can go back and find old notes...
If so, am I doing this on my new hard drive on on the time machine? When I do this on the time machine, what is "my home"? Also, I am unable to find "containers".
If I go to users/jeff/library, then I see components, compositions, contextual, etc, but not containers.

I am so sorry that I ever signed up for iCloud. The only thing that ever worked is that I had two messages drop into iCloud when there was an open wifi connection. It is synced with Yahoo. It was taking up so much space as I had a lot of attachments, nothing sent, they just sat there, I had to cut and paste them into my Yahoo! account and send them.
Last nigth were were looking at the reason that my brand new Mac Air had ZERO memory. It was the iCloud messages that were stuck. I then went in and deleted everything. I have tried to turn iCloud off via a pull down menu. Did not work. I have now lost all of my sent and received messages in my Yahoo Account. My inbox is completely empty. I believe I still have sent messages though. These were messages that I had cut and pasted into Yahoo! to get them sent. Now my Yahoo! is wiped out.
I am a writer. I need those messages recovered. I am an end user. I need instructions in English on how to recover this. If there is anyone that can help me, I am desparate. I imagine Apple could retrieve them for me though there is no where to contact them.

Lord K. Thank you. Yes I am within the 90 time period, however I travel Intertionally and I can not receive not make a call to Apple. I was just at the Genius Bar in Chicago and they said, don't worry about it. It just floats out there, however, I can not recover my messages on a flash drive. I need to go back to my old computer which I don't have with me. My messages were in folders for a lawsuit. It is going to take an incredible amount of work for me to, you have no Idea. We are talking thousands of pages! I the defendent will have them during discovery so I am not so worried. Apple maps is really bad & Siri doesn't work well in my country & i lost all my books when i upgrade

The most expected app for ios6 was the new map app. It really blow my mind how bad it is: always giving bad locations, tiny streets, traffic doesn't work, BIG etc.

when apple says that siri is going to be working in another countries in ios6 i was expecting location of places fixed. Didn't happened.

You're not addressing apple, and none of us know the answer to those questions. I you have synchronized your iPhone before then you should have copies of your evokes. If those were purchases then they can be easily downloaded again in iBooks.
Maps is not the finest thing apple has ever done, they even acknowledge that, and there's other apps that can do the work you need, such as Waze and google maps, both are free so maybe give them a try.
Anyway, yeah. These forums are not read by apple staff members so nothing we can do.

Lost all Address Book info upon upgrading from Snow Leopard to Mavericks.

Contacts is empty. I did a Carbon Copy Clone before upgrading so I have the abcddb file, but not sure what to do with it to get the info into Contacts. Thanks for any input.

Everytime I power on my iphone it says connect to itunes and when I do itunes says restore iphone but all my infomation is saved to my iclouds but its not giving me that option to restore it and without it I cannot do anyting with my phone. Please help me this is so stressful.

Even though you think that all of your apps and purchased content is in iTunes, transfer your purchases using these instructions and then try and update again.

If you are receiving an alert about purchased items that have not been transferred from your iPad, you may want to try initiating the transfer from iTunes to see if that may correct it. You may find the following article helpful:

All my book marks have gone after upgrading and the help does not help

there is no tools bar and my screen shows everything in small letters that I cannot change . i posted similar question a few days ago help . I NEVER should have upgraded as everything was working fine and now it isnot

If you havent removed your customizations, you may find your bookmarks backup stored in your profile folder. This can be found at C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profilename>\bookmarkbackups folder.
If the backups exist and you want to revert to the backup, go to Organize Bookmarks (Ctrl+Shift+B) and choose Import & Backup>Restore>Choose File option. Select your file and you will get back your bookmarks.

You won't lose your music - it isn't kept in iTunes, it's usually kept in (user)/Music/iTunes and you could back that up to be double secure.
Go to (user)/Preferences and delete every file which begins with com.apple.iTunes and com.apple.mobile.iTunes
Then open the ByHost folder in Preferences and again delete every file which begins with com.apple.iTunes
Then reboot. Doing this will not delete any of your music but obviously you will have to set up your Preferences from scratch. Don't open iTunes.
Then go to http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and download iTunes and reinstall.

I upgraded to a newer version of Firefox last month around June 14 th time frame and I lost ALL my bookmarks, these are very Important to me , I have tried everything that was suggested online and now would like to know if there is anything Firefox can do to get my bookmarks back, Please help me. I wish I had never upgraded, why on earth didn't Firefox warn me that this might happen if they did I would have never upgraded as they requested. Found some instructions but they called for using keys my computer doesn't have ( key in OSX There is no file, edit , history, help, tools, navigation, all the things your directions say to use. Also I always get hung up and the message a scrip is running. I don't know what thises scrips are but I sure don't need them.

Since upgrading to Firefox 27.0 some webpages will not load when I click on them. It gives me a message saying that Firefox can't find the server.

Since upgrading to Firefox 27.0 some webpages will not load when I click on them. It gives me a message saying that Firefox can't find the server. I have to click the link several time before it will load and sometimes when they do load it does not show the page right. It is like the HTML is messed up or something. I have tried everything I can think of. I started in safe mode, still did it., I removed add-ons, still did it., I reset Firefox and still did it., I completely uninstalled Firefox and re-installed Firefox and it still does it. I have tried Malware Bytes Anti-Malware scans and Avast boot-time scans and found no malware or viruses. I have found that those websites open the first time with no problems on my IE9 and they used to do so in Firefox 26.0. I'm at my wit's end. The website links are in my bookmarks and are used all the time so they are trusted and my avast is set to allow them. They range from news websites to gun websites and everything I have read says that Mozilla does not filter those unless something has changed recently.
