I've just upgraded Firefox and lost all my bookmarks. None of the suggested "fixes" brings them back. I only have one profile, but cannot restore bookmarks following instructions given. What can I do?
Windows Vista. Have just installed Firefox 4.0
Have followed instructions on Restoring bookmark backups
No result (I think) - because show all bookmarks comes up empty (except for what I suppose are defaults)
Which files (settings) do you want to restore?
Did you find the Firefox Profile Folder in the Time Machine?
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder and see the currently used location:

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

I upgraded to a newer version of Firefox last month around June 14 th time frame and I lost ALL my bookmarks, these are very Important to me , I have tried everything that was suggested online and now would like to know if there is anything Firefox can do to get my bookmarks back, Please help me. I wish I had never upgraded, why on earth didn't Firefox warn me that this might happen if they did I would have never upgraded as they requested. I attempted to restore my bookmarks but since I cant even add a new bookmark nothing was saved. I am certain my bookmarks are LONG GONE. There is no "TORBUTTON". I would really like to go back to the earlier version of Firefox and I will certainly think twice about updating ever again. I was really pleased and sastisfied with Firefox until now.....

Hey, I haven't had a computer for a few months so I hooked up to another computer to get updates and while syncing on itunes I lost all of my music files. I can't find them on the computer or ipod. Anybody know if I can get them back?
If the music was loaded from CDs then unfortunately not, unless you have access to the old computer or the CDs themselves.
If the music was purchased from iTunes and your iPod is running the current version of the software then you can go into the iTunes app on the iPod and there is a purchased section where you can re-download music you have already purchased at no cost. -
When I bring up my Mozillafirefox, all I get is a window with a blank white screen, (and the firefox logo). (After using Firefox very happily for over a year, I had to 'reinstall' Firefox 3.66 about a month and a half ago, (and lost all my bookmarks as a result therein), and hope I can get my firefox back this time without having to reinstall. Mozilla Firefox is still listed as one of my active programs). HELP! Is there a way to get my firefox back without reinstalling? Many thanks!

It's not clear whether your printer is included in the Apple list - there is an Officejet 6100 and a couple of other types. Go to the page linked to above and use the browser search for 6100.
I'm afraid HP are notorious for not supporting older printers - I had the same problem. Probably they hope you will buy another printer (I did, but it was a Canon). I did look on HP's site and couldn't see a driver - you could give it a try (make sure you have the exactly correct printer name):

Alternatively ou could try Gutenprint (open source software):

I found it would indeed drive the printer, but the colour dithering wasn't very satisfactory and the duplex printing bolt-on wouldn't work. However as Gutenprint is free it's worth trying to see if it's any good for you. -
i have updated my 4s iphone to ios 6.1.3 and have trouble connecting it to wi fi . i tried to back up it on itunes and then restore it but now i have left with a phone that still doesnt connect to wi fi and lost all my data. anyone knows how to fix it?
If no change after restoring the iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the backup, there is a hardware problem.

EEK!! i lost all my songs!! how do i get them back?!?!
ok..so we just got a new computer cuz my last one crashed and all my songs and itunes was on it. so now im on a new one and i just downloaded itunes onto this comp and wanted my songs to come up, but when i plugged it in, it said "The iPod "Alyssa's iPod" is linked to another iTunes music library. Do you want to change the link to this iTunes music library and replace all existing songs on this iPod with those from this library?"
so i clicked yes not knowing what will happen and ALL my songs and artists deleted or something. what did i do? and how do i get my songs back?! plz plz plz help!!!

If you linked to an iTunes with only a few or completely different songs it will have erased your original iPod song list. There are some data recovery programs on the market. I've no personal experience of them so I can't say how effective they are, here's an example: iPod Data Recovery</a
None of the recovery programs are particularly cheap so you have to decide if in your particular circumstances it's worth it to get your songs back. It may be if you have a lot of purchased tracks which you will have to pay to download again. If they came primarily from your CDs then it's most likely not as you can re-rip them. -
I am trying to purchase an app and update my apps all are free but it won't accept my card, all it keeps saying is that my payment method has been declined, I only have one card so can't try another. Now I can't use some of my apps because they are waiting to be updated. Somebody please help!!

Disabled ipod and none of the suggested fixes are working!
My daughter entered her password wrong too many times and her ipod is now disabled. I've tried all the suggested fixes on the support page and nothing is working. When I try to restore it thru itunes it says it can't because it is locked with a password. I tried to erase it thru icloud, but the ipod is offline and I don't know how to get it online. I tried to soft reset, I tried to hard reset. Nothing! Help!
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Forgot passcode or device disabled
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.
