The card must be issued in the same country as the store you are trying to use. If you're trying to sign up for the US Apple Store, it must be a US card with a US billing address. If you're trying to sign up in India, it must be an Indian card with an Indian billing address.
Apple will run a small charge, which will be credited back, to make sure the card is valid. If it is a debit card and you do not have enough in the account to cover the authorization, it will be declined.
It is possible the currency conversion you mentioned may be causing a problem. Contact the issuing bank if you are sure you have enough in the account and you are signing up for the correct store.

Basically if you authorized two computers it is very likely that you will have this problem.
Why would that have anything to do with it? You can authorize up to 5 computers to use your account.
Then go to your new computer and edit your itunes account payment info.
Edit the information n what manner?

Are you aware of any problem with a previous purchase ? If not then you should contact iTunes Support and see if they can tell you what it is (until it's sorted you won't be able to download anything from the store) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
If you go into the payment details section on your account then does it say anything about your card being declined or not accepter or if the security code needs re-entering ?

Gift cards can only be used in the country in which they are purchased - so in order to use a US gift card you would need to have a US iTunes account.

I understand you are having issues adding payment information to your account. In my experience, this usually occurs due to two common reasons (though there may be more):
If your account information does not match your credit card, you may get a message stating "The credit card was declined."
To expand on the above, your billing name or address may not match the address listed on your credit card statement. Any discrepancy in punctuation, abbreviation, or capitalization can cause errors, which might prevent you from purchasing from the iTunes Store. If you moved, or if your zip code changed recently, ask your credit card company to make sure their records are up to date and match exactly what you are entering as your billing information.
The iTunes Store will place a minimal authorization hold on your credit card each time that you update your account information (equal to around 1 USD). The authorization hold is not a charge. The authorization hold is placed on your credit card to make sure that the information provided matches the information on file with your financial institution. The authorization hold will not be displayed in your iTunes Store purchase history.
If there are insufficient funds in the account to cover the authorization hold, you may experience issues with adding payment information.

HT1725 itunes keeps giving me an error message that "Your Apple ID has been disabled". I have tried changing the password and billing information, but continue to get the error message.

I have been trying to download items from itunes store, but keep getting the error message "your Apple ID has been disabled. I changed the password and updated billing information, but still get this error message. This involves free apps which I was trying to install.

I am having the same problem. I went through the process to have the ID unlocked (Changing password etc.) and was able to log in here on the website to post this message. Why am I still getting "Your Apple ID has been disabled" as a message after verifying the account here and signing in and out on my Device. This has been issue on my Ipad as well.

If your account is disabled then you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it
If that doesn't fix it then you might need to contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

"Your payment method has expired" error message on a new card.

Hey all, my debit card recently expired and so I wanted to update the details to my new one. Initially just changing the numbers and expiry date over just gave me the same "Your payment method has expired. Please enter valid payment method information." message. I erased all the card information so no card was tied to the account then tried to add my new debit card - However I am still getting this same message even though it clearly hasn't expired since the card is valid until 2015.
Does anybody have any idea why this is happening?

When sending an email and I add a name to the "To" box or CC/BCC box which I later decided I don't want to include, Mail ignores the instruction to "remove" that name so that once the email has been sent, the name is still included and the email goes to them anyway. Pretty frustrating and I don't understand why this is happening.

You would really have to ask the app developer if there is a way to export the data.
As for adding a printer, you would need to purchase an AirPrint compatible printer and connect it to your wireless network.
By the way, your holiday letter/rant/Idon't even know what to call it... is completely inappropriate for these forums.
