I was going to download your 4. version, but something popped up and said it could harm my computer...I had already downloaded Internet Explorer version 9 and am having problems with games.

That is a standard message that applies to any executable file, it is not aimed at Firefox. It is warning you that you need to make sure you know what you are trying to download. The warning is to help prevent the spread of viruses and malware. If you download Firefox from Mozilla ([http://www.mozilla.com/]) you can ignore the warning.

How are you trying to re-download it, from within the store or the Purchased link ? You should be able to redownload it for free via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.

To be honest, that sounds about right.
For example on my 8Mbps (megbits) down service I get around 0.4Mbps upload. That is the equivalent of (very approximately) 3Mb (megabytes) per minute or 180Mb per hour. Over 7 hours that would be just over 1Gb.
Obviously, it all depends on your connection speed, but that is certainly what I would expect, and that is why I use my computer for backing up, not iCloud. So much quicker.

Just bought a MacBook Pro 13" Retina for my wife (yesterday). Having the same issue, iPhoto wont install, says i need 8.2. But I cant update to that version. Tried the App Store, but it says this computer is not compatible with that OS (really). Tried the link above, and it wont install becauase it says there is not enough room on the harddrive. I love Apple products, but the last month everything is buggy. This is kind of the last straw for me. Please help.

I think this is probably a sign that your network could be better than it is.
Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first.

We're sorry to hear that your phone isn't working. It's very important to have a functioning touchscreen! Let's explore your options OK? If the phone is taken to a store, troubleshooting can indeed be done. The store representative can even contact us while you're there. Do you have insurance on the device? Or, do you maybe have a prior vzw device that can be activated until the upgrade is available? You can also check your My Verizon account to see if your line( or another line on the account) is eligible for an upgrade. VZW always has options for you.

There were some issues with the addons site and checking for (compatibility) updates.<br />
It seems to be working now, so you can try again to install the extension.

I downloaded the 4.0 version of firefox but when it finished and I tried to open it it told me "You cannot use the Application Firefox with this version of Mac OS X" ...okay so I didnt know that- it just told me to download it. So is there a way to get the old version of firefox back? I don't want to continue using safari if I can avoid it.

I get a message that there is a newer version of firefox but when I go to install it there is a message saying it will interfere with my Kesperski anti virus software. may as well go back to IE if there are security issues with firefox and those updates conflict with a-v stuff. hello, this message is only referring to the extensions that kaspersky adds to the browser (which offer some sort of additional functionality). however this won't affect the anti-virus protection of kaspersky at all - it will work as usual. therefore it's best to update firefox as soon as possible...

Can you and will you fix the "plug-in container" using so much memeory problem? I like using firefox, but if this keeps going on I am going to have to start using something like Chrome or going back to I/E.

I use the latest version of Firefox, I run Windows XP on an older computer and the last two updates have included a "plug-in container" that use way too much memory when running a Flash based app. Can and will you be fixing this soon, I have "Googled" the problem and it seems pretty rampant, there are a lot of people having the problem and some who have left Firefox for Chrome, I enjoy using Firefox but if the problem continues I will have to find something else myself.
