I want to burn a project from Keynote onto DVD, but when I export it, the audio becomes all warped and echo-ey. What do I do?

Created a Keynote, added a soundtrack in Garageband, when the project is exported to iDVD the sound is all screwed up. Any ideas why this is happening, or a way to fix it?

Try exporting the slideshow as a QT movie file. It should keep all of your transitions, etc. and then you can drag the QT file into the iDVD menu being careful to avoid any drop zones.

You certainly are new at this. That's cool, we all were new at one point.
You have a MacBookPro. That means you are using at least Mac OS X 10.5.6. Otherwise FCS 3 would not even install. You also should have QuickTime 7 installed. If you don't, it's in the Additional Installs folder on the Mac OSX disc that came with your computer.
OS 2 is an ancient Microsoft/IBN product and doesn't run on a Mac and certainly won't run Final Cut.
Your camera shoots in AVCHD format. The files are MPEG 4 and should have been transcoded to ProRes LT for use in FCP. Your Sequence settings should also be ProRes LT to match the transcoded footage.
Your laptop is not a codec.

Don't export using QuickTime Conversion. Export as Self Contained with Current Settings (same as your FCP Sequence, which by now is hopefully ProRes LT. Import that file into iDVD.
Better yet, learn DVD Studio Pro and Compressor. Both are included in Final Cut Studio and will give you far more control and much better results.
Whilst your video is encoding, take the time to read the user manuals found in the menu bar under the Help item. They contain a wealth of information and you can amaze the teacher and fellow students with your new found knowledge.

You can probably change the ID in the "iTunes and App stores" settings on the iPad....click on the wrong account ID , select sign out, then log in with your own ID, I have not done this but I think it works.....
but I would be more inclined to to the factory reset and start afresh.

I want to burn a CD from my iTunes purchases but my Bose CD player can not read the files.

I purchased music from the iTunes store and I want to creat a CD to play on my Bose player. I have tried the audio and data selections under "Burn CD" but neither work. Any suggestions?

Can you play either of the CD's in another player? Maybe you need to switch from CD-RW to CD-R discs or another brand of CD for that Bose CD player.

I receive an email from Outlook with attachments but when I forward it the attachments are lost.

One particular person sends attachments which I can open fine but I can't forward them unless I store them and re-attach. The attachments have "size unknown" label in the email.
A friend of mine who get the same emails from the same sender doesn't get the attachments at all. Her ISP gives "images blocked for your protection".
Can the sender do anything to fix this? All other mail and attachment work fine.

RTF = Microsoft proprietary and has no place in email. Email is HTML and Text.

The best solution is don't use Outlook.

I am trying to retrieve what was on a lost Ipad. I THOUGHT when I signed into APple it would just BE there. All my photos, program apps installed and etc but apparently there were not compatible - one was a 6.1.0 and the other was 6.1.2. Soooo, I went ahead and set it up as an New Ipad thinking that once I signed int o Apple, it would all be there I understand they are different serial numbers but thought it would update on this new one.

The problem is that the new device has a slightly older version of iOS than the device that did the back up. All you have to do is connect to itunes and in the Summary tab, check for the latest version to install. After that you can perform a restore.

I need help burning a cd from keynote for a slideshow presentation on a tv

Hi,
Not quite sure what you're after here, so I might need a bit more info.
You have a presentation in Keynote and want to export this in some format that will allow you to display it on a TV screen. Is this right? Do you want to retain all your interactivity or do you just want to show it as a simple 'kiosk' presentation? What will the presentation on CD be played from and how will it connect to the TV?
Probably the easiest solution is to create a DVD of your presentation. To do this export the presentation from Keynote as a Quicktime Movie by going to File>Export and selecting the Quicktime pane. You'll need to make a few choices about how the slides are advanced and the final quality. Convert the exported movie to a DVD in iDVD or better still Toast, if you have it. You wont need menus or any fancy stuff, just set up the movie to play as soon as the disk is inserted.
To optimise the Movie, keep Keynote animations to a minimum and limit slide transitions to simple dissolves. The resulting Movie should be a fair representation of the original Keynote presentation.
