I want to buy a Panasonic HC-X920 camcorder but websites are making me fear it is incompatible with FCPX. Is this true?

I am not a video expert. I have and use FCPX for family videos and projects. Currently I have been using a Canon T3i and have no problem editing video, but I've grown tired of the complications of DSLR for video and want to move into something a little simpler. After some research I found that I want the Panasonic HC-X920. A google search of the x920 and Final Cut Pro X leads me to websites and companies trying to get me to download software to convert video from the X920 to be compatible with FCPX because they say FCPX isn't compatible with AVCHD. I find that hard to believe. Are they just scaring consumers into downloading their product or are they correct?
I would assume that when I import the file from the X920, I could just optimize it for FCPX with FCPX. Am I correct or not? Thank you.

your camera uses standard AVCHD and iFrame as formats = fully supported by FCPX, no additional software nor manual conversion needed.
Hint:
NEVER mix formats (AVCHD and iFrame) on one media! Esp. the huge int. 32GBs memory is seducing to try out all settings optional .. One media (SDcard or int.Mem) = one format = all savvy.

They may be purchased unlocked at full price. But whether you can use them in Brazil depends on whether you have GSM service there.
Note that if you buy in the US then any warranty work will require you to bring the device to the US for service. The US warranty is only good in the US, not in Brazil. You would be better off buying it in Brazil which will also save you duty and import taxes plus US sales tax.

It used to be in the US iTunes Store as that's where I purchased it. Often the studios will temporarily pull a movie from the store during times the movie is scheduled to be shown on TV or cable TV as the TV network has been granted exclusive access during the period. It will return to the store later.

Hello, I've tried Lion from the day they released to last week I got my computer formated and with leopard again, on my iMac 24" from early 2009 2.9 Ghz core 2 duo, and I have installed 8 Gb of memory, and i have some complains about it, there are some cosmetic issues but mostly I'm concerned about issues bellow the hood, as I'm a stock trader and I depend completly from my computer's performance, let me explain:
Superficial issues:
1. They took off "spaces" and I liked it.
2. I dont use the magic mouse, I need a more accurate mouse for my charts, and it seems they built the entire OS assuming you would use the magic mouse for gestures, scroll, etc to try to mimic in some way the Ipad and Iphone functions, but what if you arent using it like me?
3. I never used that little rocket icon that makes all your apps appear and that could be one of the "improvements on Lion", at first sight it looks nice and slick, but if you try to use it and make it part of your daily use, you would find it is useless, it is a pain to try to arrange it the way you like it, so I rather use the spotlight to search for my apps, its faster.
Now the MOST important, 'performance':
1. It completly suffocate my computers hardware Leopard much more lighter, beggining from the start up that taked almost 1/3 or twice the time, and I think Lion has some bugs bellow the hood, i was doing my normal stuff, some apps running and everything, and suddenly I started to feel the computer a little slow, safari taking forever to open the pages for example, and I opened the activity monitor to see what was going on, and it was there, I was using 4 or 5 gb from my memory, and CPU making insane peaks, and Im using 2.46 gb as im writing it doing exactly the same stuff, (but Im happily using Leopard now), and it wasnt once, as i told before, I used lion since the day they released it and happened several times until it drove me nutts. But leopard not problem in that regard at all, Never.
hope this helps, and hope some apple guys read that because lion resulted in a big disappointment for me.

Yes, if there are Arabic letters then there have to be English letters as well, because otherwise you could not type any email or web addresses.
As to where you can buy such a machine, you have to contact stores in the country where you live directly yourself and ask them. Nobody in these forums represents Apple or any store. Apple stores do not ship outside the country where they are located.

no, that's incorrect.
you can activate on 1 mac and 1 pc, or 2 pc's, or 2 mac's, concurrently.
i have cc installed on 2 pcs and 1 mac. i can only activate 2 at any one time which works well for me because my pcs are at home and my office and i use them most of the time.
but when i travel i take my macbook so i just deactivate one or both of my pcs (uninstalling is not needed) and sign in to my macs cc app.
