I want to call a slideshow in a tabbedpannel.

I generated a slideshow in Bridge. In my webpage I have a modyfied Spry producttable with instead the original Collapsable panels I have 2 Tabbedpanels. All working fine. When I click in the product table an image shows in the first tabbedpanel.
Now I want to show the Bridge Slideshow in the 1st Tabbedpanel. So instead of an image I have to call for a html file which shows the Flash slideshow. The original code to call an image is

there is only a text line which shows images/BCA4V1/index.html.

is a working page where desk calendars are shown. Click in the table on the left and an inage apears in the 1st tabbed pannel on the right.
In a new page where birthday calenders need to be shown in a similar table I want a slideshow of all 13 pages of the related birthday calendar in the 1st Tabbedpanel. The slideshow has been generated by Bridge and all files are inserted into the webesite. All adjustments to the new XML file are made and also the birthday calender html file as written in my original question.
The link to the birthday calendar page "Verjaardagskalenders" is http://www.gradeph.eu/BCA4V1.html. Because it is not working yet, it is not implemented in the menu.

IOS8 downgrade caused Siri to now keep asking "just to confirm, you want to call" on every call request. Anyone else having this annoying issue?

Ever since I made the mistake of moving to iOS 8 on my iPhone 5s, whenever I use Siri to place a phone call, I get "Just to confirm, you want to call <enter name>?" It's driving me crazy! I've resorted to disabling Siri and just using the native Voice Control, which works flawlessly for making phone calls, but not so well for other functions. I tried wiping my phone and restoring from a backup, but no luck with that. Apple doesn't seem to want to help since it's not a widely reported issue. I've also noticed that incoming calls don't connect on my car's bluetooth, when that was never a problem. Also, outgoing calls no longer make any sounds. i never know if the call dropped, the phone bricked, or the call was answered unless the other person says something. If only I could go back to iOS 7!!!

I, too, had been suffering through Siri's relentless need to confirm calls that recently she (heh!) just called.
Applecare support told me to backup and restore from that backup. I balked at the need to spend so much time reloading my music and docs, and also asked what good would it do to replace the phone's data with a copy of what was there after the problems began.
"Good question." was the reply. No answer, though.
I told her I had to go, hung up, turned Siri off and back on, and the problem disappeared. It's been nearly 72 hours and all's well.
Of course, YMMV, but it's painless and worth a shot.
I hope it works for you, too. And I hope Apple will better train their advisors to give more informed advice.

I've been unable to locate an app that will do this. The Photos app that comes with the phone or iPad has extremely limited duration controls. PhotoStream seems to load everything from my phone or iPad not allowing me to just load up a set group of images.
iPhoto for iPad is getting some terrible recent reviews. I tried a couple other free apps but they don't use Airplay.
I can do something like this with iPhoto and my MB Air, but it's kind of ugly to have the computer open in order to connect by Airplay to my Apple TV. I've thought the iPad or iPhone would be a lower profile controller.
Am I out of luck?

Thanks for your help. Since I'm uninterested in loading all my photos (the only option) into photostream, I won't be able to use the settings in ATV. I guess I'm just stuck with using iPhoto on my MB Air. Thanks again.

I have been a long time faithful customer of vzw and although the past year I have been late on payments many times and really couldn’t afford your exorbitant prices for services lots of other companies offer sometimes three times cheaper than what you charge, I have hung in there trying my best to meet my obligations.
This month has been no exception. You don’t know the background; the whole story of people’s lives. I know you could care less because all you care about is the profit-the money that comes in.
I was told when I agreed to pay my bill on the third per the recorded message that I had 14 days to pay…you cut me off anyway. The phones are not the tissue; your suspending my service means I cannot work. I may lose my job…how do you justify that? In any case? The least you could do would be to keep 4986 on and cut the phones off. But no. You refuse to compromise and meet the basic needs of your customer. What does that say about your company? I tried to call back on three separate occasions to tell you I couldn’t pay because of unexpected expenses but couldn’t get out of the automated system…sadly couldn’t get to a real person which also speaks volumes to me.
All this tells me this is a company I don’t wish to be affiliated with any more. As soon as I can, I will discontinue service with you…I know you could care less. I will honor the remaining portion of the contract but that’s it. You don’t deserve my business. Problem here is you admit you cannot afford the service.
And you want to blame Verizon for losing a job because you have no cell phone.
If your job depends on that phone I would pay it on time every time if you need a job to pay your bill.
No other service is going to treat you any different. And if you cannot afford Verizon's monthly invoice how are you going to afford new devices, activation fees, possible security deposits on any other cellular carrier? You can't.
Also if you made an arraignment to pay and then decide you cannot do so, why should Verizon extend you service or credit, or why is it you want to use the service and data and not pay for it as agreed.
Get a prepay phone. Its evident the cost is too high for you to afford on post pay.

The entire DVD containing Quick Time movies (Final CutExpress project) and slideshow was done in iPhoto. The Final Cut project was rendered prior to export to QT, the slideshow was sent to iDVD withoutrendering. The slideshow with most of the pictures from my still camera incombination with stills from movie clips and some downloaded from the Internet.After burning, the movie playback is perfect but the slideshow is not. The slideshow containing 3 differentkinds of pictures; those from my still camera looks OK; the stills from themovie clips and from the Internet are not. I don’t have much knowledge in this game, but I think NTSCwith frame size 720x480, and the downloaded picture Item Property shows most ofthem are between 400 to 500 x 300 to 600, may be both of them are not suitablefor TV screen while the stills from my still camera looks OK because they are2048x1536. But, you wrote something wrong.
There is a "Duplicate" item, a "Save a Version" item and there is a "Save…" item.
(2) The reproduced help page clearly state that the first step is to trigger 'Duplicate' For the second step, it's not clear. It seems that the ones writing the Help were not informed of the definite choices made by the developers. They wrote "Save As" but never was such an item. It was "Save As…" in which the ellipsis is an important component. At last, the developers defined two items : "Save…" and "Save a Version" ( at this time I'm running 10.6.8 so I can't check if this item has or hasn't an ellipsis).

It sounds like you are unable to see your contacts in the phone, but have confirmed they are still at http://www.icloud.com. I would next try these troubleshooting steps from the article named:

If you're using iOS 7, quit and restart the Contacts app on your iOS device:
Press the Home button twice to see preview screens of the apps you have open.

Turn iCloud Contacts off and back on:

Requirement wherein I want to call two queries in parallel using ABAP Prg

We are using RSCRM_BAPI to run a query in background and write the results to a table. We later read this table and create a file. I have a requirement u2013 wherein I want to call two queries in parallel using an ABAP program.
For our discussion assume:
1) Program : ZCALL_RCRMBAPI  is a program that calls RSCRM_BAPI in background and takes the query name as input
2) Program: ZMAIN_PROGRAM  this is the main program
The requirement is to call the ZCALL_RCRMBAPI in a loop. Also within the loop call it in parallel. Basically we have an ODS that stores ; FISCPER. So I call the two queries for a list of FISCPER.
ZMAIN_PROGRAM - A program that reads a table (ODS ) in our case and call the two programs in a loop and both should run in parallel .
Now if it was sequential u2013 it was easy u2013 I would just say
Loop at L_T_FISCPER .
Update Z_FISCPER with L_T_FISCPER-FISCPER u201C Assume Z_FISCPER is a Z table . The VARIABLE in the query Q1 and Q2 use a customer exit to read this table.
A)       SUBMIT ZCALL_RCRMBAPI with P_QUERy = Q1 and return .
B)      SUBMIT ZCALL_RCRMBAPI with P_QUERy = Q2 and return .
Endloop .

I am using Oracle Apps R11i (11.5.7), I wanted to call external Java class from the PL/SQL. This external Java class is residing in another application server.
How do I do this.
I know one way. Develop C routine in Oracle Apps to call external java class and call this C routine from the PL/SQL.
Is there any simple method available? or any other method?

First of all, this is a Java application you're talking about, right (i.e. it has a main() function)? It's not just a class that you're trying to instantiate is it? If it's an application, you obviously have to start a new virtual machine to run it (rather than using the virtual machine built into the database like stored java). I'm a little leary of your mention of an "application server" as this would more commonly mean that a virtual machine is already over there running with access to this class. In which case, you'd typically interface with SOAP or some other RPC API.
All that aside, as long as you have physical disc access (through NFS or whatever) to the class file, you could use a java wrapper class with a system call to do this. In fact, there is a thread in just the last day or so on this very forum that has the code to do just that (see " Invoking OS Commands from PL/SQL"). However, it's worth noting that the virtual machine will be running on the database server in this case and not the application server.

Want to call and run a vi that is not in memory

I have a vi (say Sub1.vi) that I want to call and run from another vi (Say Main.vi). Sub1.vi is not loaded into memory, when Main.vi is started. From within Main.vi I want to load Sub1.vi and run it. But I don want Main.vi to wait for completion of sub1.vi - sub1.vi needs to run continuously in the background.
So I tried calling the sub1.vi using the Open vi Reference and the Invoke Node to run the vi. This works only if Sub1.vi is already loaded in memory.
Next I tried Open vi Reference, Invoke Node to Open FP and then another Invoke Node to Run the vi. This works when the sub1.vi is not loaded in memory but it opens the FP of sub1.vi.
But I dont want the FP to open and be displayed - I want sub1.vi to run in the background.
How do I achieve that?

I want to call DLLs generated in LabWindows CVI in Borland C++, I am using BCB 6 and LabWindows CVI 8.
I am able to call these functions in VC++, But getting following error in BCB
":[Linker Error] 'D:\GAJANAN\CVIDLL.LIB' contains invalid OMF record, type 0x21 (possibly COFF)"
Please somebody suggest me how to solve this problem.
