How do I email everyone I have ever emailed to warn them about a spam message I received and *stoopidly* opened! I don't want to add them separately to an email - there are hundreds. I would like to do it one foul swoop. Thanks in advance of any pears of wisdom x
You probably don't want to do this. At least not as described.
Think about it. You're talking of sending an email to every individual that you've ever emailed, every mailing list you've ever posted to, and more ... and to tell them, what? that you opened an email. Big deal.
I suspect that >95% of the people won't care. The rest will recognize it for what it was - a momentary lapse of judgement, for which you're now broadcasting to a wider audience.
Seriously, millions of people open spam messages every hour. Think of the mess that email would be if every opened spam message generated a few hundred "oops, I'm sorry, I opened a spam message" additional messages to everyone's contacts.
Unless you have specific reason to believe that they will somehow be affected by your opening of the email, you're just going to make yourself look even sillier.
If you do fear that your opening of this message is going to somehow affect them (in ways i can't imagine) then your first action is to determine a list of people that you want to notify (I'm sure "everyone" is not appropriate). You could write a script to extract the recipient of every message in your Sent folder (or, even better, every selected message, so you can pre-filter the list), but I still question its value.
The following AppleScript will extract a unique list of email addresses from the selected messages in Mail.app - select the messages, then run the script and you'll have a list of addresses. Again, I can't stress how much I think you shouldn't bother running this, but it demonstrates one option.

Ever since upgrading to Mountain Lion, my AOL messages sometimes, but not always open with a blank page. If I open AOL in Firefox, the messages open fine. This does not happen with any messages by any means, and it is not any type of certain message. In fact, in the same screen I can often open an email from the same sender with email intact. This is weird. Sometimes I close the page and open a new page. Sometimes that works and sometimes it does not. It is a very annoying thing.

When you start Messages fro the first time you are asked for an Apple ID
When this is verified and entered it appears in Messages Menu > Preference > Accounts and is Enabled.
The App should have also picked on on those iChat Accounst you had before.
These should be Enabled if they were when you last used iChat.
Exactly which "Accounts" are logged in can be seen in Message Menu > Accounts and will include the iMessage "Account" and Bonjour.
In the Window menu you will see CMD +0 for the Messages window and CMD+1 for the "Buddies" window which is a combined list at this stage.
Go to the Preferences > General Section and Untick the "Collect all accounts into one list".
This will give you separate iChat type Buddy lists.
You can check if that account/Buddy list is set to Invisible or if in the Preferences > Accounts > Security you have settings that will block some people from seeing you as On line.
You are saying Buddies can see you as On Line which implies they are still sending to your AIM based Names (@Mac.com is a valid AIM Screen Name)
I am not sure from your post if you are trying to iMessage their email IDs thinking they are Apple IDs and that they are using Messages as well.
There is no Buddy list for iMessages side
No-one can tell you are "On Line" until they have your details in the "To" spot in Messages with the correct iMessaged contact info (iPhone Number or Apple ID)
Obviously an Apple ID can be an email or look like one.
In some cases they are also valid AIM Screen Names as well.
In the case or the @mac.com name you may have linked this Apple ID to iMessages as well.

How do i resort/reorder my two email accounts - they have changed order i view them
I have two email accounts. I am not sure how or why they have changed order on my view screen. When I push the "envelope icon" my email account/inbox is not the one I want to see first. How do I reorder these again - to be account "A" on top of "B" not 'B' on top of "A".
The only way is to delete account "B" (now appearing first), and set it up again.

My ipod touch 4th generation no longer holds it's charge for more than 40mins from full power, think it needs a new internal battery but have no idea how to go about this and am no longer covered by my guarantee. Can anyone advise me on what's best? Thanks in advance
Using the battery level meter in this manner is comparable to using your car's fuel gauge to calculate miles per gallon. The only thing that matters is the total amount of operating time from full charge to auto-shutdown.
Use an Apple wall-mount charger. Do NOT use a computer's USB port. Then, operate it normally until auto shut-down (ignore any low level alerts that may appear). An irony is that doing that test to determine the total operating time is also the exact procedure necessary to calibrate the battery level meter.
I'm not claiming that you do not have a problem. I am stating, however, that we don't yet know whether or not a battery problem exists.

For proper reporting of the battery’s state of charge, be sure to go through at least one charge cycle per month (charging the battery to 100% and then completely running it down).
Elsewhere, Apple elaborates and explains that two half-discharges (or four quarter-discharges, etc.) equals one full discharge. -
Basically I have verified that Firefox is my default browser and it works great. Earthlink is my default email program. About 70% of the time when I click on a link in an Earthlink email it opens with Firefox, but the other 30% of the time it opens with IE, which I don't want to happen. Is there any way to fix this?

I have an iPhone 4 using iOS 7.1.2. On my home screen at the email icon in red it shows I have 11,193 emails to be read. I have no mail in Inbox, Drafts, Sent, or Trash. Where did this come from and how do I get rid of it. The number is printed in read on top of the blue and white emaiI icon. I contacted my cable company and through their website I can check my email. In doing this it showed I had 25 unread emails. Also, my iPad 2 is receiving emails fine. So the problem is with the iPhone 4. What can I do to get rid of the number and make my mail operational?

I would start with taking a look at the settings to make sure that you are able to send and receive messages. If everything looks good then the next step would be to remove the accounts and add them back in. With th upgrade page displayed for maverick 10.10.2 I click on down load. Amessage pops up say there are other accounts that need to be updated and it gives me the account (old email address) which is an old account that I changed the name to new email address. When I click on OK and the down load the message pops up again. I have not been able to upgrade maverick.
What you are experiencing is 100% related to Malware.

After using my new iPhone 5 for a few months I tried to sync it to my computer but it said I had to wipe it first, I don't know if it means everything or just the music. Half of my music transferred to my iTunes library and the other half I can get through iCloud so it's the apps and photos I'm worried about. Will they be wiped too? If so, how do I transfer the photos I took before activating photo stream onto my photo stream? I'm going away on vacation tonight so please answer ASAP! Any help appreciated, thank you!!
The iPhone will only sync potentially copyrighted information from one computer, music, movies, and photos (synced to the iPhone from a computer). It will not delete the photos you have taken on the iPhone, which are in the Camera Roll.

No problem, just "deauthorize all" and then authorize the four individually. You will lose nothing - except the ability to "deauthorize all" for another year.
