I want to save an image from Google to my iPad mini but do not know how

This Knowledgebase also has some information on programatically saving VI images
    http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/942DAA35C7B35616862565FE005F713F?OpenDocument
(KB 197BB7VJ if the link doesn't work).
Note that you don't have to put the code in the VI you are running in order to save it to a file, so you don't actually have to modify your VI. You can just run a seperate VI that uses the VI name from the first one (I've attached a VI which could either be run standalone or used as a SubVI, as well as an example of using it as a SubVI).
If you don't want to do it programatically you could just hit the print screen button on your keyboard and then paste it into paint and crop off the extra windows stuff.

On my MacBook Pro whenever I select an image to save or copy, it selects the whole page. Also does a similar thing on iTunes: whever I select an album cover it gives the whole listing.

There are so many occasions on line when I want to save an image that I can't believe I can't do so using Firefox, which I find so good in all other ways. I can Bookmark, save a page or send a link, but not take a simple copy image.

Hi, Many thanks for replying, it's much appreciated. I started Firefox in safe mode and found I had the full right click menu on a pic on my home page. However, after moving around the web, I've found that the problem still occurs in eBay and it doesn't make any difference in safe mode. still no full menu. After returning to normal mode, I find that this still stands i.e. I do get the full menu on other sites but not in eBay. As I often want to save a pic in Ebay and can do so in IE, I'm baffled as to why this one site is giving problems. As this is where I've mostly been trying to save pics, I didn't realise that it was a "one site" problem and not applicable to everywhere else. If IE didn't work in this respect, I could blame the eBay site, but it does, so that just makes it more puzzling - and very annoying! I have tried accessing Ebay direct, rather than clicking on the toolbar, but this makes no difference. Any further thoughts would be much appreciated. Joy

    2) Fix your sticky keyboard for the '?' and '.' keys. Only one of those characters is generally needed to denote a question or the end of a sentence. Two or more often denotes a dweeb.
I might come back to your question later, assuming I can actually bare looking at that mess long enough to figure out what you want.

  • Why can't I save an image off the net into the folder of my choice?

I've used a PC all my life until two days ago when I bought my MacBook. I absolutely love it, but there are a few PC/Mac differences bugging me, and one of them is what I'm asking you all about:
When I save an image off the internet and the pop-up asks me where to save it, it suggests only a few folders for me and I can't choose the folder I actually want to save the image in. Is there any way to change this? No one else seems to have asked about this on here before, but I hope someone can help me out.

Ah, it's so simple! Thank you.

I want to save an image, which I created before from a physical file and did some bit-level manipulation, into the same or a new (doesn't matter) physical file (say in png format). But I do not know how to do it. I have tried the FileConnection API and OutputStream and then the method write() to write the byte array, rather this does not solve my problem. I need something like corresponding to J2SE ImageIO.write(image, null) function. Any Idea??
please.....I don't think it's possible in a midlet. You'll have to save the data as a byte[] to a RecordStore and then convert it back again if you want the midlet to redisplay it.

I only use Image Capture, so I can't speak for other software.
Here is how I select a Scan To destination:
If you are using the minimal details screen, you should have the same submenu to the left of the page size.

16bit? Pixels extending beyond the canvas? (from a crop with delete unused pixels turn off).  Have you previously been saving PSD files?
IME you sometimes have to tell Photoshop that the first save of a session is JPG, and it remembers from there on.  The way to 'tell' Photoshop that JPG, or PDF, or PNG etc are now your preferred format is to Ctrl (Cmd) click on that format in the Save As drop down list.  So long as the file does not have parameters that your chosen format does not support, then this should work for you.
[EDIT]  Just noticed that you did include 'Crop' in the subject line.  Do you have 'Delete cropped pixels' checked?

  • How do I save a photo after I have zoomed in on it?  I want to save the zoom-in as a new photo and can't work out why this doesn't work the same way saving a cropped image, or adjusted image does.  Thank you.

How do I save an image after I have zoomed in on it?  I can't work out why I can't save a zoom-in the same way
I can save a cropped image or an adjusted image. Thanks, Lily A.

Hi Matt, thanks for your reply.  Have realised that Zoom in Iphoto is just  a viewing tool and not an editing tool.
Was creating beautiful abstractions by zooming in and wanted to create a new image of the result.   Have since discovered that cropping after zooming takes me a little way to where I want to go but it isn't the same effect.  Will perhaps have to try to create it when actually shooting.  Am doing a photoshop course in February and maybe will learn a bit more then, too.  Am pretty much an amateur just finding my way.
    Thanks again,
    Best, Lily

Could that read " . . . could not access . . ."?  If so, try repairing your backups, per #A5 in Time Machine - Troubleshooting.
If not, or if that doesn't help, see #A1 there. Use the TM Buddy widget it details to copy and post the messages here.
