I was deleting some Wild Tangent games, computer went nuts, and now I can't get Firefox. I have to access the web through Internet Explorer (hate it). How do I get Firefox back. I've tried everything.
I had FF 4.0 Beta 12. While deleting some Wild Tangent games, everything went black and I haven't been able to get to Firefox since, (about 7-8 weeks. I click on the desktop icon for FF and I do get the FF screen with the FF icon on top left and the minimize, maximize and exit icons on the top right. However, the screen is just white and I can't open anything up. This is driving me crazy because the only way I can get to the internet is through IE and I hate it. I do get a crash report from FF and I fill it out and send it in with my email but I hear nothing from FF because I don;t think you get the report. I want my FF back and I'm going very frustrated trying everything and nothing works. Please, please help me if you can. Thanks, Cathy

Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
When the menubar appears select Terminal from the Utilities menu.
Enter resetpassword at the prompt and press RETURN. Follow
instructions in the dialog window that will appear.

There should be a User Agent Switcher menu item under Tools, which gives you the browser names you can impersonate.
The menu item name changes to the browser UA you are presently using.
There is also a User Agent Switcher button, you can add it using View -> Toolbars -> Customize, and dragging the button to your toolbar.

You can just start trying IE versions (or the versions it says on the site) until it lets you in. -

No judgment here on the music you listen to, I have that song too in my library. If iTunes is telling you that the song is missing and you purchased it from the iTunes Store, then just delete it from your iTunes library and then download your song again. I have an ipad2 and was using yahoo mail. I pressed send and it didn't work however it created a draft. I then opened the draft and now I can not cancel or send it or close the window. It just remains in the mail screen. Any suggestions?

Mostly explained in the title. My dad gave me his MacBook, and I went ahead and wiped all of his stuff by using the recovery partition to wipe/reinstall OSX Lion. In the setup I used a new apple ID and now I can't get iLife apps. I'm relatively new to how apple works its purchases, so I'm not sure what's up. Is it that my computer has a unique ID set to the first apple ID used on it, and if so, how can I get this reset to my ID? I'm planning to get an iPhone 5 soon so I'd like to be able to use photo stream with iPhoto and try out Guitar Band.

I ran iTunes update 11.1.4.62x64 on a PC Win 7 and got "apple mobile device failed to start verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services" and got kicked out of the install process? I accidently uninstalled 'BONJOUR' and now iTunes, the newest version, wont download. A pop up comes up saying that bonjour failed to start and I have to verify my privleges ect. SO PLEASE HELP!!

Your drive was used with a PC and formatted NTFS which is proprietary Microsoft format.
You need to install a third party program that will read the NTFS format.

When you get the data off and have verified it to be good, reformat the drive either HFS+ for Mac use only, or for Mac and PC use then MSDOS (FAT32) for under 4GB files (best) or exFAT (for larger than 4GB files) is proprietary and Microsoft is appling for a patent, which would likely mean OS X won't be allowed to read it anymore without a licensing fee and you'l have to pay another third party software company to read the format, just like NTFS is.
The less you have to rely upon third party sources to read your drives the better, this way if you have a issue and need to read the drive on another machine you don't need the software, and a internet connection and a credit card and...and...and...
