I would like to change my iPhoto to a smaller resolution on my Mac desktop. The pictures need to be smaller to email. As is, I can only get 5 pictures per page on AOL. Also, I'm not able to change my Facebook profile picture for the same reason. I didn't have this problem on Windows PC. Can someone please help?

I am trying to add 2 administrators to my Adobe Team. I am the Administrator (primary)
I followed the instructions.
Click Administrators in the left navigation pane to open the Administrators tab.
Click +Add more link located at the bottom of the table.
Enter the email address and name of the person to invite as an administrator.
Click Add Administrator.
When this did not work I had the invitee create an Adobe ID.
Both my invites did not receive an email for the invitation.
Is there a work around?

Can I sync my iPad (purchased first) with my iPhone (purchased second). I have apps on my iPad that I would like to sync to my iPhone before giving the iPad to my little sister. Help!

I received the iPad a little over a year ago as a gift from my parents. I loved it so much that I purchased the iPhone4S and I was wondering if it were possible to transfer the Apps that I previously purchased on the iPad to my iPhone. If this isn't possible can I ask why not? I don't understand why purchasing something and paying good money for it doesn't make it truly yours to be used on your devices. I want to give the iPad to my little sister and have my parents set up a new account and "refresh" the iPad (if you can even do that) for her but I'm afraid of losing the Apps that I paid good money for just for them to dissappear. I just want to make the iPad something my sister can call her own. Right now it is connected to me and my account so I would like to change this as well if possible. If you want to have the mostly same content on both devices - it probably makes more sense to restore your iPad from the iPhone backup. this will put all of your app settings and email settings onto the iPad and any app data and game saves as well will transfer to the iPad.
You still want to sync the iPad so that all of the apps and photos that are in your iTunes library transfer over to the iPad. Restoring from the backup doesn't restore apps, music, synced photos, movies, books, TV shows and podcasts - you will still need to sync that content to the iPad.
I have pretty much have the same content on my iPad and on my Touch, but I eliminated the Movies and TV shows from the Touch and some apps as well. Remember that iPhone specific apps may run OK on the iPad - they will run in the iPhone smaller screen size and while you can double the size by tapping on the 2X button in the apps, they will be lower resolution because you just doubling the size of the pixels and the apps look kind of crappy on the iPad - they may work - they just look bad.
I do not auto sync at all. Nor does iTunes open automatically when my iDevices are connected. I start iTunes on my own and I select all of the content - piece by piece - app by app and so on - as I go along. Once you get through the initial set up - iTunes remembers each device and it's content for the next time that you sync.

Backups in iPhoto too big for DVD but not in TOAST

Hi all,
Recently I have wanted to backup my photos to DVD.
On a couple of occasions I have tried to do it in iPhoto but it tells me there are too many for the DVD to hold (DISC FULL) but if I drag the photos from the same album directly into TOAST, the DVD still has plenty of room to spare.
Am I doing something wrong here? Why is there room to spare if burning using TOAST but not if burning within iPhoto?
Just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong.

When you burn from Toast, you're backing up ONLY the modified files. This is the same as exporting to the desktop and using the Finder to burn from the desktop. When you burn from INSIDE iPhoto, you're creating a miniature library, which includes the originals as well as the modified files.

Yes you would have to start over from scratch.
But you should really think this through very carefully. Experienced users do not recommend iPhoto used in this mode, and with very good reasons. Among them
1. It's more work for exactly no gain
2. It's unreliable - especially - when the library is on one volume and the photos are on another. One change to the path between the files and the library and you'll be reconnecting every photo in the Library back to the database, one by one.

Drag the Library from the Pictures folder to the Users/Shared folder. I would point out that folks doing this on 10.6 and later frequently meet permissions issues. You might do better moving it to an appropriately formatted External Disk.

You made the disk using the Shre -> Burn menu? That makes a mini-library for use with other iPhoto Library users.
Select the shots you want to print in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export and export them to a folder on the desktop.
Burn that folder to the CD using the Finder's File -> Burn Disk command.

For starters, I have a late 2009 Macbook (white) and am running Mountain Lion (10.8.2). Anyway, I purchased this computer off of someone else and I would like to change what I assume is the home directory (little house logo) from "appleuser" to my name. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find anything online that is helpful to me. I saw one thing that talked about changing the root login or something like that, but I couldn't even find it when following the steps that were given.

Open the Users & Groups pane of System Preferences, create a new user account, and log in with it; alternatively, after unlocking the pane, control-click that account, choose Advanced Options, and change it there.
