You can't "copy" your photos to the "library manager", there is just no way to any such thing.
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.

Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

I asked my reb at CDW who sent an e-mail to Creative labs sales and was told the the Live Cam Optia Pro had drivers available for linux
This camera supports UVC (USB Video Class) whick is supported with in Linux see http//linux-uvc.berlios.de.
The driver is included on the Suse Enterprise desktop 0-2 distr, but so far I have not been able to get the camera to work correctly.
I am still working on the problem. -
Web Cam applet is not working in great consistency
Hi... My video capturing applet is not working very well.
The image stream is displayed on the web page in JPEG format with 0.5 quality. However, it crashes after a while and the it does not release the vfw resource.
I have to restart my machine in order to execute it again.
Can anyone please help?

Can anyone tell me how to get this going again please?
ThanksAlso check the BIOS, on some models there is an option to disable the Webcam in the BIOS.
And also ensure Skype, Messenger, or other programs that use the webcam are not running, only one application can use the webcam at a time. -

I was looking for the driver download for the webcam in my laptop, the only drivers I found works on Windows XP or Windows Vista.... Please help me in downloading the web cam software that would work with Windows 7 ultimate.

I down loaded a s/w MacCleanse, it kinda deleted a lot of files from my mac book air after which the web cam stopped working on yahoo messenger. I checked Ichat the cam works perfectly but does'nt with messenger. Does any one have a clue on how to fix this..from my experience, attempting to use two programs that allow the use of the camera will render it unusable on the second program attempting to use it. So, if you started iChat first, then forgot to quit the program, and are now trying to use Yahoo Messenger, then you must quit iChat first and it should work.

I have downloaded new drivers from HP, used the recovery manager etc and nothing seems to work. I have owned this HP pavilion G6 for a couple of months and am already sick of the problems I am having. Windows 7 and HP; what a great team!

My web cam on my hp laptop G72_257CL is not working.Please help me.just pry (pull) up the frame around the top and sides. You do not need to pry out the bottom of the frame. Use your
fingernails under the inside edge of the frame, they have some double sided tape, so it might be a little tough to pry. Pry it
slowly so the tape can separate on its own. Don't force it quickly or you might damage it. Make sure you're not prying the
silver metal frame of the lcd screen, only the black plastic frame. There are some plastic hooks that will make a snap
sound when you pry the frame out, it'll take some force, so don't be afraid if you hear the snap sounds, it should be able
to snap back together if you did it correctly, otherwise you might have to use some tape to tape the frame back,
Once you've pryed out the top of the frame and have access to the webcam module, you
should see the cable going into it from the bottom, push the cable into the webcam, then see if the problem is solved,
the cable most likely just came loose. If that solved the problem, I suggest using something you can remove, like hot
glue to hold it together, just in case the webcam really needs to be replaced, you can melt the glue off and swap it out.
webcam itself somehow got damaged?, which is very unlikely

No web cam detected. Try to plugging in a webcam into your computer now. If you are using an integrated camera, Make sure that it is turned on.

Try to update the camera drivers and restart the system.
You can also go to device manager setting and see if the webcam is disabled or not.
If everything fails try system resore or run OS recovery. -

My web camera (it is incorporated on my computer) is not working.
When I turn it on it appears a blue light (informing that it is connected) but it is not taking pictures or videos regardless I am using skype or I am just using the webcam without being on a specific program. Only appears a image with clouds!
Any suggestions?
