Icons Comments.

Hi All,
I had developed customize ALV report. Where I am adding a column named 'Status', in this column differents type of icons appears. But my question is how can I add the respective comments of icons? codes of icon are below.
gt_fcat-col_pos = lv_count + 1.
gt_fcat-fieldname = 'ICON'. " ICON field name of IT_FINAL. In this field i am storing icons code according to line item. and it display . correct icons.
gt_fcat-tabname = 'IT_FINAL'.
gt_fcat-seltext_s = 'Stat.'.
gt_fcat-seltext_m = 'Status'.
gt_fcat-seltext_l = 'Status'.
gt_fcat-no_zero = 'X'.
lv_count = lv_count + 1.
APPEND gt_fcat.

1. Printing sticky notes: Go to Edit - Preferences - Commenting and tick
the "Print notes and pop-ups" option.
2. There's nothing much you can do about that. The comments summary
function of Acrobat is not very good, unfortunately.
The only alternative is to use a script that generates a better version of
the comments summary.

How can user attach file to interactive form, and be read by abap program?

Hello,
I created an abap interactive form, sent to the user, then user fills out the form fields, then it is uploaded back to sap, then my program reads this data and process it.
It works.
Now I want users to be able to attach any file they want, and the abap program to extract this file out of the PDF, to put it into SAP (or anywhere).
I succeeded in attaching a file, I can "see" it via function module get_annotations, but I get the file in compressed form by Adobe (filter="FlateDecode").
Do you know how to unzip the file, or is there another way to attach files in adobe reader/extract them via abap?
I use acrobat reader 8.1.2

Below is the xml obtained by GET_ANNOTATIONS. We see that there are other text annotations, and that the attached file has {length="98005"}, though real file (before "attach file" to the PDF, and also after "detach file") has length 111 995 bytes. It's why I deduced that there is a compression (I also tried to extract it as-is and open it with adobe but it doesn't work.

Hello everybody,
I am sure you have an answer to my question above. It was :
how is it possible for a user to ATTACH files to a PDF interactive form, and then be able to READ them via a program ? (I guess the solution to read them via ABAP or JAVA is quite the same?)

Problem with JQuery tab after migrated to APEX 4.0

My test application hosted on apex.oracle.com is using JQuery tab function and it is running well with APEX 3.2.1.
And now after the migration to APEX 4.0, it can not display the tab anymore.
Any idea how to solve this problem?

Problem with .visible

Hi All,
I am creating a comment box in my training tracking tool. General idea was something like that :
1. click icon -> comment box appear
2. enter text -> click 'ok' or 'cancel' button -> close comment box and add to flash coockie.
3. change icon colour if any comment in it.
I created all instances and the issue is that, when you click the icon "Comm1a" (empty) or "Comm1b" (with comment) comment box appear just for milisecond and disappear. I copy whole code to the new file and it works. Don't know why in original file it doesn't.

Plus new issue appear. When you press "ok" or "cancel" button which triggers RemoveComm1 or AddComm1, the button you clicked stays visible.

I fixed the issue with the staying "ok" or "cancel" buttons. Still I do not know what it is not working within original program, where i do not use any other libraries or objects that may couse an issue.

How do I remove header info from .js without breaking?

Hello,
I've created a slider for Instagram using Dreamweaver. I am trying to remove the text info under the slider which shows it is housed under <header></header> tags in the .js file.
I've tried every which way from Sunday to try to remove the coding for the text, but end up breaking the entire thing.
Any .js experts available to take a look?

Sorry if I didn't make myself clear. Prior to loading 1OS7 it was easy to force quit applications that were still open by double clicking and seeing an a red "x" you had to click on.
It doesn't work that way with the new operating system and the instructions that were given "Force-quitting apps is a little different though: Instead of tapping and holding on the icon, you flick a thumbnail up to dismiss it."
Do not work.

When printing from Reader, select Document instead of Document and Markups:

I would like to know how to change the size of the comment symbol. I don´t know what I did but the symbol (standard speech bubble) got much bigger than usual and I would like to get back to the original size.

I am using XP and Windows 7 . As I said before this seemed to happen after the latest Adobe update.
Because of proprietary reasons I cannot post an image of the entire schematic, but I did try to do this with an Adobe snapshot of just part of the zoomed out image and pasted it to Windows Paint and noticed that the icons there were reduced as before.
However if I do a screenshot using shift print screen and paste the entire zoomed out PDF schematic image to Paint the icons are not reduced!
Is this something in Windows I need to change?

Adobe Reader XI downloaded to my wife's laptop tonight. Windows 8.1. Open PDF, select Comments > comment dialog, then place icon on PDF and start editing. Small edits work fine. Large amounts of comment text, once you move off the icon and come back and hover over the comment icon, causes the full size comment window to flicker rapidly (5-10ms between on and off) until you move the mouse away from the icon. Unreadable. Tried on my identical model laptop and happens there too. What's going on?

Oval comments accompanied by note icons

Hi all,
I've created 'oval' comments in Acrobat Professional and added text to these.
When the document is opened with Acrobat Reader, additional note icons are
displayed next to the oval comments.
What can I do that oval comments are displayed without note icons?

I may not have been clear in original post. The only time the http:// or the C:// prefix is present is when I hover over the file names in the menu bar above the open web page. I have not enterred them as such.
The link rel comment is currently written as link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/PDGCommTemplates/HTN/css/newmain.css
My current file tree is as follows:
httpdocs
-/PDGCommTemplates/
     -/HTN/
          -/css/
               -newmain.css
          -home.html
Is the link rel comment above wrong? Do I need to move my html files into the root directory? They are currently in the sub sub folder /HTN/

Add comment icons to toolbar

Please would Adobe consider enabling the ability to add the comment/mark up icons to the toolbar.
If this were possible, it would permit the pane on the right which contains the comment icons to be closed, giving a tidier work space.
I would be very grateful indeed if this could be considered.

There's no reason for a obtrusive yellow speech-bubble to notify the user that the text you highlighted is interactive, especially when it covers other text and doesn't match the color or opacity you selected for the highlight.
I fail to understand why it's so difficult to just add a comment to a bit of text without there being some icon, (from a very limited menu), be it star, or note, or arrow, or circle. Do roll-over pop-outs in web browsers attached to anchor tags require icons? No. They take the anchor attributes because that's all they are, anchors, and they need no other.
Sorry for sounding petulant, but I've been fighting to find a way to create a simple bit of hot text with a call-out for most of the day and I've had no luck (well, I lie... I've been able to underline the text w/o an icon.

Thank you.... the point is that it is unnecessary. Whether one highlights the text or underlines it, or simply changes the color, there's -already- and indicator that there's a note attached.
I don't agree with this because Acrobat doesn't agree with it. There's no difference between the Underline and Highlight functionality excepting that the indication that there is something special about the Highlighted text is even more apparent than the Underlined text, and yet, -there is no icon for the underline- and -there is an icon for the highlight-. Exact same tool, slightly different visual text attribute. It's not at all necessary and it obfuscates the document.
Which is more obviously special text that would have an annotation attached?

Which therefore creates more need of a silly icon? The answer is -neither- The presence of an annotation is already indicated.

Comment note icon doesn't appear on underlined texts

Hi, I have been using Abobe Acrobat 9 Pro for some years now. Whenever I try to add a text note to underlined text there used to be a small icon appear on the top of underlined text indicating that underlined text has a comment attached to it.
Now ever since I have installed Adobe Acrobat XI Pro on Windows 8, the small comment note icon on underlined text doesn't appear anymore and this means that all the documents that I have created in Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 won't show that in XI edition of Acrobat.
Instead, Acrobat XI Pro shows the comment note icon on highlighted text but not on the underlined line. So, How can I know if the underlined text has a comment if the icon doesn't appear over it? What can I do to solve this issue to continue using the product with the older document on which I have worked in Acrobat 9 Pro?

It doesn't help with comment icon so I'll try to be more clear as possible on issue:
As you can see, the yellow comment icon appears on the top of the highlighted line on the left but on the right where I underlined the text and added a comment, it doesn't show any icon indication so there's no way I can know if it has a comment on it unless I hover mouse cursor over it.

Lock icon on add comment.

When I publish my iweb pages I allow user comments. But after publishing the pages a small lock icon appears next to the "add comment" link on every page. I'm using MobileMe account and iWeb 08
Anyone know how I can remove the lock so users can add comments to my pages.
