ICR - File Upload, FBICRC_S_UPLOAD is missing

Dear experts,
I want to expand the Data Selection Process of ICR to manual file upload.
I also read the following thread, which explains how to involve Companies via file import.
Thread: IC reconciliation process with file import
Problem 1:
In this thread its mentioned that I could use the delivered structure FBICRC_S_UPLOAD.
But unfortunately this structure is missing in my system.
Has somebody an explanation for this?
Problem 2:
Alternative I used structure FBICRC_S_SELECT_003 for the manual company.
But when I want to upload a file during data selection, the process displays me that "Buchungskreis" is missing in the file. But when I take a look at the structure FBICRC_S_SELECT_003 no field is named "Buchungskreis".
Does somebody has an explanation for this behaviour?
Thank you in advance for all answeres
Tom

Hello Sebastian,
#1 If I am understanding you correctly you have 2 entries for each company in FBIC032 - one to select customer/vendor open items and one to select GL open items. However, when you run FBICS3 for these companies only AR/AP open items are selected and transferred. Is that correct? What is the result if you run data selection for GL open items only, i.e. if you specify the corresponding SEQNR on the selection screen (hint: you may have to enter the command ADMIN in the OK code field in order to see the field on the selection screen).
#2 You assigned documents to each other and they are not shown in the bottom part of the display. Were there any differences in the document groups you created? If not, are the document groups shown when you use function Without differences?
#3 If you run data selection, automatic assignment, interactive reconciliation (making additional assignments) and then run data selection again no assignments should be deleted. This would only happen if you deleted the transactional data.
#4 Please check your definition of object groups and sets. Do the used sets actually contain values? Did you also apply the corrections referred to in note https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1267185 - especially note https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1062292 ?
#5 Is the selection of GL open items taking long or is it the combination of GL open items plus AR/AP open items? How many data records are transferred and how long does this take?
#6 Since there are usually various sender systems and sender companies with different operative accounts involved in ICR and data selection is usually a central process (scheduled as a batch job and not run by the individual users) the only way to restrict GL accounts is to implement the BADI. The BADI method can be implemented taking into account which sender system and which sender companies are involved.
Hope this helps,
Ralph

  • ICR File Upload Process 002 G/L Accounts

    Dear SAP experts,
    For external companies, we want to upload their intercompany transactions in the intercompany reconciliation cockpit.
    But it seems that is not possible for process 002 (G/L accounts): indeed, when I go on the customizing step 'Companies to be reconciled' (FBIC009), I cannot set the data source for one company code to File Upload.
    D
    o you have any idea so that I can load data in ICR process 002 tables by file upload?
    Thank you in advance for helping me,

    Hi Rafael,
    Thank you for your answer.
    But the file upload functionality is not activated by the transfer type config but by the data source config (=File upload), no?
    Unfortnulately, the field data source cannot be modified for process 002 (always equals Documents of current process)

  • ICR - FBICS3 file upload process

    Dear experts,
    In the process of ICR to we want to use the file upload option in the FBICS3(select documents) for reconciliation of the docs. And our file is placed in the application server. We have maintained the configuration in FBIC032 for the company codes(Here we are using multiple company codes), we mentioned the logical file path, custom structure as this file has some new fileds and we are data source as file upload in the data source field in this(FBIC032) config. But when I run the FBICS3 transaction it is not selecting the documents from the file placed on the application server. Can some one help me on this, whether i missed something in the config?

  • HELP! File Upload Servlet and Internet Explorer

    Hello people. I hope this is an easy problem to solve...
    I have a servlet upload program that works using Mozilla browser (www.mozilla.org), but for some reason it doesn't work using Microsoft IE. The servlet is also using the servlet upload API from Apache (commons).
    I'm using IE version 6.0.2800.1106 in a Win98SE host computer. I get a cannot find path specified error message (see below). At work, I also get the same error message using IE, but don't know what version. The OS is XP. Unfortunately, at work, I can't install Mozilla browser (or any software-company policy) to see if Mozilla works there too. I would've like to have tested to see if the upload program worked on Mozilla on a truly remote computer.
    So I figured, it must be a IE configuration issue, but darn it!! I began by resetting IE to default settings, but still have the problem, I played around with several different combinations of settings in "Tools"-->"Internet Options...", and I still get the error message. Someone PLEASE HELP ME!!!
    Dunno, if it will help, I've also pasted the upload servlet source code below and the html file that's calling the upload servlet, but you still need the Apache commons file upload API.
    Trust me on this one folks, for some reason it works for Mozilla, but not for IE. With IE, I can at least access web server, and therefore, the html file that calls the upload servlet , so I don't think it's a Tomcat configuration issue (version 5.0). I actually got the code for the file upload servlet from a book relatively new in the market (printed in 2003), and it didn't mention any limitations as far as what browser to use or any browser configuration requirements. I have e-mailed the authors, but they probably get a ton of e-mails...
    Anyone suggestions?
    Meanwhile, I will try to install other free browsers and see if the file upload program works for them too.

    I'm guessing what is happening is that Mozilla tells the servlet "here comes the file myfile.zip". The servlet builds a file name for it:
        String path = sc.getRealPath("/files");
        // path is now C:\TOMCAT\webapps\MyWebApps\files\
        fi.write(new File(path, fi.getName()));
        // append myfile.zip to "path", making it C:\TOMCAT\webapps\MyWebApps\files\myfile.zipIE, however, tells "here comes the file C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\myfile.zip". Now imagine what the path+filename ends up being...
    So what you want to do is something along the lines of (assuming Windoze):
    public static String basename(String filename)
        int slash = filename.lastIndexOf("\\");
        if (slash != -1)
            filename = filename.substring(slash + 1);
        // I think Windows doesn't like /'s either
        int slash = filename.lastIndexOf("/");
        if (slash != -1)
            filename = filename.substring(slash + 1);
        // In case the name is C:foo.txt
        int slash = filename.lastIndexOf(":");
        if (slash != -1)
            filename = filename.substring(slash + 1);
        return filename;
        fi.write(new File(path, basename(fi.getName()));
        ....You can make the file name check more bomb proof if security is an issue. Long file names trying to overflow something in the OS, NUL characters, Unicode, forbidden names in Windos (con, nul, ...), missing file name, ...

  • File Upload / Download - Advice Required

    Hi all,
    This is really just a general question, looking for advice.
    I have downloaded and successfully used the File Upload PJC for Forms 6i - thanks Oracle.
    We are looking to use this to download and upload files from or to the client machine, and I am (relatively) confident of reversing the Java components to allow this to happen.
    However, we are actually looking to transfer the files from the client machine, to the 9iAS Tier and then to the UNIX (AIX) tier where the database (8.1.7.4) resides - and vice versa.
    I have considered a couple of different approaches :
    1. Run the Java Server component in the Database JVM to enable the writing/reading of files on the UNIX filesystem.
    2. Use TEXT_IO on the 9iAS tier, and UTL_FILE on the Database Tier, to move files between the two tiers.
    3. Write the files to / from the Database, and then from/to there into the UNIX filesystem.
    Does anyone have any expereince of attempting to implement a similar solution, or information on Oracle documentation explaining any of the above.
    Plus, I'm sure I must be missing a trick !
    Any other ideas ??
    Regards
    Marc Ludwig

    We have build a similar solution,
    for the download:
    we use the pl/sql gateway to send the file to the client with the following function:
    wpg_docload.download_File(lob_loc);
    you could build a pl/sql procedure that accepts an id and selects the blob locater and
    triggers this function. the procedure can be called by setting the configuration in your DAD correctly.
    that way its easier then rebuilding the whole fileupload utility.
    in the webforms you can have a code that opens a new window with an url you give.
    the url will point to the pl/sql function and you can pass the id of the record you want to get the blob from.
    for the upload to your database:
    well, we chose to loose the zip functionality and modify the pl/sql library that comes with it.
    instead of using the uploadserver class, you could build a pl/sql function in the database that
    accepts the varchar32 strings (which are base64encoded chunks of your file) and appends them to a blob.
    the function that could do that would look like:
    PROCEDURE APPEND_DATA(P_ID IN NUMBER, P_DATA IN VARCHAR2) IS
    bin_data blob;
    append_data blob;
    raw_data raw(16384);
    BEGIN
    dbms_lob.CREATETEMPORARY(append_data,true);
    dbms_lob.OPEN(append_data,DBMS_LOB.LOB_READWRITE);
    select binary_data into bin_data from ibs_physical_doc where id=P_ID for update;
    raw_data:= utl_encode.BASE64_DECODE(utl_raw.CAST_TO_RAW(p_data));
    dbms_lob.write(append_data, utl_raw.LENGTH(raw_data),1,raw_data);
    dbms_lob.APPEND(bin_data,append_data);
    dbms_lob.CLOSE(append_data);
    COMMIT;
    END;
    you can increase the chunksize a bit more.
    you still have a problem btw that you probably cant upload more then 4-8 mb before you get an out of memory error on the client.
    you could solve that by rewriting the client java file to send the file piece by piece on request by the server instead of all the pieces after eachother, and first read a piece of the file and then encode that piece and then send it instead of reading the whole file, encoding it and sending the chunks.
    Another option is to use the standard upload possibilties with web pl/sql, and open a new browser window to that window from forms. A drawback of that is that it is not integrated in the web forms program and that you cant see when the upload is finished (no callback). and that you are bound to the default table layout.
    one final thing, if you are going to use this, you might want to take a look at using JInitiator 1.3.1.9 if you arent using it already this automaticly sets the signature in the clients database if he accepts it. there is a bug in it, look for it somewhere in this forum. if you are using the sample that comes with forms 6i you will have to replace the fileuploadprogressbar with the one that comes with the forms 9i sample and recompile everything and i think you will have to use JDK1.3.1_03 for that. that means that you will have to modify the make batch file. the command for compiling is different, the classpath is an option when you call javac, also you will have to sign it with jarsigner.exe (in the jdk) instead of the one in the example.
    Hope this info is helpfull, if you like to have more specific code, mail me at [email protected]

  • File Upload/Download

    Hi
    When using the file upload/download functionality, APEX stores the uploaded object in a table by default. See: http://download-uk.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31036_01/doc/appdev.22/b28839/up_dn_files.htm#CJAHDJDA
    Is there a way to specify that the file should NOT be stored in a table, but rather, be stored on the file system?. Example in a directory object location.
    I intend to use the upload/download functionality to load csv files that will then be parsed as external tables.

  • File Upload in a Form

    I have a file upload in a form of mine.
    I can't style the upload to match the rest of my form. I have tried to target the id="FileAttachment" to no avail. I have tried adding classes and nothing responds.
    In Dreamweaver it shows as styled until it gets on the web.
    Here is the site: http://ubhape2remodel.businesscatalyst.com/careers
    Any Advice?
    Thanks!

    Thanks for the information.
    I cannot get it to work and I am unsure why.  I am not sure if I am not using the JS right or not adding something to the css. I am a bit confused.
    I am not all that good at javascript so I assume something here is off and I am just missing it.
    One other note: Is it possible to use my style of buttons and not an image (I would like the hover effect that I use on the buttons to apply to that one as well.) But not sure how this can be done or if it is possible.
    Any help would be very very much appreciated.

  • Multiple file upload not working in IE10 and IE11

    Hi,
    As per the UI5 documentation( https://sapui5.hana.ondemand.com/sdk/#test-resources/sap/ui/commons/demokit/FileUploader.html) , UI5 supports multiple file uploading for IE10 and IE11. I set the "multiple: true" flag in the fileuploader example page and the file browser dialog is not allowing to select multiple files. Does UI5 provide multi file upload support for IE10 and IE11 or am i missing anything ?
    regards
    Raja

    Huh?
    Your problem makes no sense. The filename is included with the upload so that the server knows what the file was originally called. Are you running the JSP locally and reading the file directly off the hard drive??
    I note also that you aren't using a multipart form, which is required to upload a file.
    <form action="uploadFile.jsp" method="post" enctype="multipart/form-data">
      <input type="file" name="upload" value="<%= fileName %>" />
    </form>You'll need to use the Jakarta Commons FileUpload class to correctly process a form encoded with "multipart/form-data" or getParameter("xxx") will return null. You can also use the older com.oreilly.servlet.MultipartForm or whatever it's called. I'm pretty certain that the Jakarta Commons obsoletes all the COS classes.

  • 11.3 File Upload Extension

    Since upgrading to 11.3 we're unable to install the file upload extension for firefox (ESR 24.5) on OS X (tried 10.8 and 10.9 - the extension works fine in win7). The link "Install the Novell File Upload extension to upload directories" is there but clicking doesn't do anything. It was working under 11.2.4, but hasn't worked since we upgraded to 11.3. Has anyone else run into this and found a solution?

    Whilst I think you're correct the documentation needs updating since it
    currently implies that whilst IE is supported on Windows (well duh!) and
    Firefox 26.0 and 27.0 on Windows and Linux, Firefox ESR 17.0 and 24.0
    are supported on all platforms due to absence of Windows and/or Linux

    Thank you
    Ramona L.

    Dear Ramona,
    to find out what is going wrong you can try to debug the application.
    Therefore please open the application Z_KPI_LOG  in SE80 (BSP-Application) and go to page Z_KPI_LOG2.HTM. Here you need to set an external-Breakpoint. Now start the application. During debugging of the page look out for objects which are not instantiated (= initial). As soon as a method should be called for and inital object you get your error message.
    Please note: if you have many objects (e.g. textitems) on the page, it way take some time for you to find out in the debugger which object is initial (= not instantiated).
    The typical reasons for this kind of error in WebInterfaces is:
    - a method for an object should be called, but the object is not instantiated
    The reason why the object is not instantiated could be (in your case):
    - a text for an text element is missing
    - there is an error in the transport (So please compare page Z_KPI_LOG2.HTM in your development system and your system where you are getting the error) or try to transport the application again. Also checked if parts of the application are locked in another transport request.
    Hope this helps.

  • Would like to create a file upload facility in a form based on stored procedure

    Hello,
    I would like to create a 'File Upload' in a 'form based on stored procedure'. The version of portal that I am running is 3.0.7.6.2. In this version, only 'form based on table' has the ability to upload files. Or is it that I am missing something?
    Please let me know if this is possible in higher versions of portal.
    Thank you for your help.

    I have kin od fdone this by using the additem fucntion, if you look at the HTML of the add file page, you can see the parameter that are required for the form.

  • WSRP File Upload with Struts

    Hello there
    I've been trying to integrate with WSRP a Struts 1.1 web app which provides a simple File Upload functionality.
    It works fine as a standalone web application (direct access to the web app).
    But I can't get it to work through WSRP from BEA Weblogic Portal 8.1SP4 to BEA Weblogic Server 8.1SP4.
    I followed all the steps indicated at http://e-docs.bea.com/wlp/docs81/wsrp/workprod.html#1010271.
    Plus I set up the wsrp-producer-config.xml file to handle attachments as follows:
    <markup secure="false" rewrite-urls="true" transport="attachment" accepts-mime="true"/>
    The start page of the portlet displays fine on the Consumer side.
    But upon file upload it never reaches the actual Struts Action on the Producer side.
    No error is displayed either on the Consumer or on the Producer side but the file does not get uploaded.
    Any idea why ?
    Am I missing anything in the configuration ?
    Thanks
    Patrick

    what am i missing here guys?

    Dear Manjunath Jayaram,
    You don't think it is a problem that one can not access the child of a
    composite component ???
    I am sorry if you don't appreciate the problem but I can not state it any more plainly.
    "I can not find a function in the Upload class that will allow me to access the browse button
