IDCS4/3 Win Panel Tree View weirdness...

I have a plugin that I originally wrote in CS5 that has a selectable (i.e. "tabbed")dialog. In CS5 it works fine but in CS4 I get the following assert when I open the dialog:
CDialogCreator::GetOrderedPanelIDs - can't find IDList resource 25350 for class KTabbedDialogBoss
This does not prevent the dialog from appearing, but when it does, the tabs are reversed, that is, Tab A, the first tab on the CS5 plugin has become the second tab in the CS4 plugin. Tab B, the second in CS5 is now the first in CS4.
Here are my resource declarations in the project header file:

I suggest you check out the Extension Builder and CS SDK forums. I don't know if you have experience with Flex and ActionScript, but you will need that for CS Extensions...

IDCS5 Win: Panel Tree View sort order

Hello everyone:
I have a panel tree view that is displaying document names in a backward sort order. When I say that I mean that the sort order is as so:

as opposed to

3
4
5
I have stepped through the code and in the Adapter, they are geting placed into the string list in the latter order i.e. 1,2,3,4,5). What could be causing this reverse sort order?

Yes, if the Track Number field is empty in the File Info dialog, for all files in the Files panel, then Audition will revert to "Recent Access" sorting.
There is no relationship between this File Info: Track Number, and the track number you see in the CD View.
I understand your confusion. However, note that it is possible to add the same file (from the Files panel) to the CD View track list. So imagine you have "My Song.wav" in the Files panel. And then added it to the CD view track list at track positions 1, 3, and 5. If we were to sort the Files panel by track number as they appear in the CD View, then which track would be associated with "My Song.wav"? Track 1, 3, or 5?
This feature was added primarily as an enhancement to the typical CD ripping (File > Extract Audio From CD) workflow. After ripping audio tracks, the resulting files that appear in your Files panel will be tagged with a Track Number. It is usually handy to sort by this CD track title rather than by filename or other sorting option.

How to create dynamic panel tree view?

I can create dynamic pallete panel without any problems (from sdk/paneltreeview) , but i can't when it's a panel tree view (from sdk/paneltreeview). I don't know how to initialize it. Can i call IID_ITREEVIEWWIDGETMGR's impl directly in ActionComponent to create panel widget? and how?

are working fine for Both Debug N Release version.The Application Is crashing In tree view manager class as i explained.
while it works fine without having even a single warning in debug version.
I read the document and i find out if i want to add node in treeview i have to call
treeMgr->NodeAdded(node);
which will call manager
b and in TreeviewMgr::ApplyDataToWidget
i am getting my node name as
TreeNodePtr<IDCGridNodeID> nodeID(node);
PMString IndexNo= nodeID->GetName();
I don't think that something is wrong in this but i am not sure becoz i am new in indesign development.
for adding nodes i referred the SDK examples.I found the same code for adding.

Catalog manager not showing the tree view

Hey Everyone
I cannot see the tree view when i login in the catalog manger in the online mode.What could be the reason? I can see only the \ folder but not the shared,system and users folders.I checked even the instance config file and made sure the path was right.

I have installed 10g in Win 2000. Enterprise manager
was working fine after installation. I restarted the
Oracle Service (DB Service, TNS, iSQL, DBControl)
from services in Control Panel. Database is up and
working fine but the Enterprise Manager is not
working. When I am trying to use the EM through
Internet Explorer, it is not asking for any login and
showing as database as down. I am able to connect to

How to populate list in tree view dynamically

I am new to Indesign Plugin creation.
I want to create list in tree view dynamically.
I tried wlistboxcomposite sdk sample in indesign cs4.
I have some doubts in this.
1. Can i write my own method in WLBCmpTreeViewAdapter class because it's implements ListTreeViewAdapter
If it's possible how can i call this method.
2. In this example they populating static string in constructor like this

InDesign does not have a native multi-column widget. You have three options:
1) Use the treeview widget and align your widgets in the tree node to create the illusion of columns (stroke panel is an example - the Links panel in CS4 is a better example)
2) Go the way of the CellPanel SDK example and tweek it to work like a listbox
3) Create the User Interface in Flex

OER - Asset Editor Tree View unfiled items

I am using OER 11.1.1.5.0 and in the Asset Editor Tree View I can see general categories of 'Unsubmitted', Submitted' and 'Registered' with various sub-categoreis under each main category. I am puzzled why an Asset which appears in the Tree View initially as as Submitted / Pending Review / DAC Interface / CB Interface should, once all the submission, acceptance and registration stages have been completed, appear under Registered / Unfiled / CB Interface whilst another Asset should appear initially as Submitted / Pending Review / DAC Product / DAC Product - Portal appears, having undergone the same registration processes, as Registered / DAC Product / DAC Product - Portal.
I cannot find any information in the documentation regarding 'Unfiled' assets nor can I see any difference between the Asset Types for these two assets which might cause this to happen.
Can anybody shed any light on this issue ?

It works for me after I did a small tweak by as mine is a demo install.
Idea - is to make an security exception for the OER url in Java control console
Steps to do that :
1.Go to the control panel and uninstall the 64 bit version of Java
Open Programs and Features and select the 64 bit version of Java and select Uninstall.
2.Open up the Java Control Panel
Found as an option in the standard windows control panel
3.Check the version by clicking on the About Tab
If this is not what you expected you can go to java.com and download the latest version.
4.Click on the Security Tab in the Java Control Panel
5.Click on the Edit Site List button in the lower RH corner of the control panel
6.Add your URL to be allowed
Enter the full path that you use to access this such as https://myequallogics.com or the IP address if that is how you access it (as in http://192.168.0.100 - Https is recommended by Oracle.) Once complete hit OK. You should now see the exception on the security page.
7.Close out of the control panel.
8.You can now acess your site through the browser window.

Tree View Second level is not displaying bind parameter

Studio Edition Version 11.1.2.2.0appears this problem is addressed in

I hard coded employee id of 187 on a bean called by a button.

previously (in my real application) I was using bind parameters and my query had the following where clause.
( I did this to turn a comma separated list into an in statement)

and I find it unlikely I can recreate this where clause using the add item button.
is there a way to manually type the where clause in the view object where clause box?

How to display KMcontent in a tree view structure

I want to dispaly KM content in a Tree view manner like sdn. My exact requirement is - I have a folder in KM Content along with subfolders. Now I want to display all this content in a Detailed Navigation area like a tree view structure. I invite best solutions.

There is one way possible.
1) Create a KM Navigation iview for the repository/folder using the Tree View layout.
2) Set the Initial State of Navigation Panel property in the iview to Always Close
This would give make the iview take the entire area combining Content Area & Third level Navigation for rendering content.
This would give the illusion that the third level navigation is your tree.

Menus, Tabs and Tree Views I need some help

I am quite new here! I was searching desperately on a solution on how to fix my code. I need to do a menu in Java and bellow two boxes, one in which I will display a static tree structure (on the left side of the window) and one where I have some tabs (on the irght side of the window).

Hi,
You can develop your custom control for this purpose. The logic you mentioned was correct. Here is a sample control that I developed by the logic you mentioned.

A tree-view in HTML page with nodes generated with java script in run time is not visible in the UI Automation Tree. Need Help

I have a HTML page with an IFrame. Inside the Iframe there is a table with a tree view

In UIA, i am able to traverse till the tree view but not able to see it.
I have used the TreeWalker.RawViewWalker Field to traverse the node from the desktop Automation.RootElement.
I tried to use AutomationElement.FromPoint method to check whether i am able to get that element. Fortunately i was able to get the automation element.
i tried to get the path to root element from the node element using the TreeWalker.RawViewWalker. I was able to get the parent path to the root element.
But trying the reverse way like navigating from root element to tree node, was not getting the element for me.
Please help me with suggestions or inputs to resolve this issue.

i am actually using jinitiator 1.3.1.28 with Oracle HTTP Server of OAS 10gR2) calling Forms Server 6i (f60cgi). After setting up according to Bernard's recommended setup steps, the java console showed that it loaded the icon jar file when it could not read the form, but it skipped the loading of the icon jar file once it read and started the form. How do we specify in the form to pick up the icon from the jar file instead from a directory ? Or do we need to specify ? Any ideas ?

I am new to Indesign Plugin creation.
I want to create list in tree view dynamically.
I tried wlistboxcomposite sdk sample in indesign cs4.
I have some doubts in this.
1. Can i write my own method in WLBCmpTreeViewAdapter class because it's implements ListTreeViewAdapter
If it's possible how can i call this method.
2. In this example they populating static string in constructor like this

The TreeViewAdaptor is responsible for mapping your custom data to the tree view itself. I almost always start by making it return some fixed number of objects with names "item 1" etc. That way you get the tree view working first.
Then, after you get it laid out and displaying properly, you can worry about using real data. At that point, you have your adaptor return the actual number of items in your list and each individual item. Then you can populate your list when you push your button and then invalidate the IControlView of the tree view widget to cause it to redraw. At that point your adaptor will get called and your data should appear.
