Configuration documentation for idoc type PEXR2001 & idoc type FIDCCH01
Is there any documentation for SAP configuration that needs to be done to get an outgoing PEXR2001 Idoc created? This is the payment file Idoc. We are trying to send this IDoc to a 3rd party, and I don't know how to get it created from the payment run.
Also, the FIDCCH01 is an incoming IDoc that would change discount dates and amounts on posted financial documents (vendor invoices). Is there any documentation regarding this IDoc and what incoming RFC is used to actually post the changes?resolved the problem/question ourselves

Althought they do no hinder me from successfully running the project. these messages are annoying. I have seen many articles on the web but could nowhere find the exact schemas for that the above elements that I could add to the DotNetConfig.xsd file.
Could somebody give me an idea how to create xsds for the elements above and include in the dotnetConfig.xsd.
I understand what needs to be done but not sure of the exact way to do it.
Thanks,You don't need to modify the dotnetconfig.xsd. All you need to do is generate an XSD for your section and let VS know where it is at.
1) Create your XSD using any of the various tools available or by hand.
2) Copy your XSD into the <VSDir>\Xml\Schemas directory.
3) Create a catalog file for your schema.
4) Restart VS and it'll load the XSD and give you Intellisense.
Here's the MSDN documentation for it: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms255821.aspx

IDOC status 53 for HRMD_07 but no data uploaded
Hi,
We are trying to load the HR reocrd from etl to R/3.
I have created an iDoc through WE19 for message type hrmd_a and basic type hrmd_a07.
Populated infotypes for 0000, 0001, 0002 and 0105.
idoc created with status 53 (green light) 'Application documention posted' and information note 'HR: ALE inbound processing for HR master data'.
HOWEVER, when I go to transaction PA30 or tsbles the personnel record is not being created in R/3.
Please kindly help on this. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Its really urgentHi Rajan,
I am also facing the same problem. Did you got any solution. Please let me know.

Hi,
We added a new field in Idoc schema, and now we can see the new field at we02/we05 idoc list, however, we don't receive it in XI.
I already imported the Idoc schema in XI again, updated the mappings, and it still with the same issue.
Do you guys know where is the problem?
Thanks,
LuíHi,
I was facing the same problem from other point (I saw the error on the trfc queue in the sender system).
After reading your posts I have tried with IDX2 and same problem than you, so I began to debug in XI (newbie in XI, olddie in ABAP ).
I have seen that the message is raised when trying to do the RFC call <i>IDX_META_SYNTAX_READ</i>. I tried with se37 in r/3 and it worked so only the user could be.
I have changed the user in the RFC destination in XI to my dialogue R/3 user and now XI has received the first idoc from R/3. The previous user was a service user with sapall/sapnew profiles so it doesn't makes sense but... <b>it works for me! </b>
hope it helps you,

IDOC
Data Creation in Idoc
IDocs are text encoded documents with a rigid structure that are used to exchange data between R/3 and a foreign system. Instead of calling a program in the destination system directly, the data is first packed into an IDoc and then sent to the receiving system, where it is analyzed and properly processed. Therefore an IDoc data exchange is always an
asynchronous process. The significant difference between simple RFC-calls and IDoc data exchange is the fact, that every action performed on IDocs are protocolled by R/3 and IDocs can be reprocessed if an error occurred in one of the message steps.
While IDocs have to be understood as a data exchange protocol, EDI and ALE are typical use cases for IDocs. R/3 uses IDocs for both EDI and ALE to deliver data to the receiving system. ALE is basically the scheduling mechanism that defines when and between which partners and what kind of data will be exchanged on a regular or event triggered basis. Such a set-up is called an ALE-scenario.
IDoc is a intermediate document to exchange data between two SAP Systems.
*IDocs are structured ASCII files (or a virtual equivalent).
*Electronic Interchange Document
*They are the file format used by SAP R/3 to exchange data with foreign systems.
*Data Is transmitted in ASCII format, i.e. human readable form
*IDocs exchange messages
*IDocs are used like classical interface files
IDOC types are templates for specific message types depending on what is the business document, you want to exchange.
WE30 - you can create a IDOC type.
An IDOC with data, will have to be triggered by the application that is trying to send out the data.
FOr testing you can use WE19.

An IDoc is simply a data container that is used to exchange information between any two processes that can understand the syntax and semantics of the data...
1.IDOCs are stored in the database. In the SAP system, IDOCs are stored in database tables.
2.IDOCs are independent of the sending and receiving systems.
3.IDOCs are independent of the direction of data exchange.
The two available process for IDOCs are
Outbound Process
Inbound Process
AND There are basically two types of IDOCs.
Basic IDOCs
Basic IDOC type defines the structure and format of the business document that is to be exchanged between two systems.
Extended IDOCs
Extending the functionality by adding more segments to existing Basic IDOCs.
To Create Idoc we need to follow these steps:
Create Segment ( WE31)
Create Idoc Type ( WE30)
Create Message Type ( WE81)
Assign Idoc Type to Message Type ( WE82)

Need Schema Diagram For Adobe Campaign Management
Hi Guys,
I am new comer for Adobe Campaign Management. I just started to exploring the ACM.
I am using the Neolane client to learn ACM. I just want to understand the ACM internal database/table structure, how exactly designed it.
I have product doc but it is more around UI and functional reference.
It is very helpful to me/new beginner that any one provide the schema diagram for Adobe Campaign Management.
Please share me any material/document which explain the database stuff (schema,tables,data-dictionary,etc ....) then just forward me.
Thank's in advance,This link to the product documentation describes the key tables in Adobe Campaign:

Cannot find documentation for MRCA
Now that the new MRCA tool version 10.1.2.0.3 is available where is the documentation for it? I have only been able to find docs that were last updated in August. I'm going to install in a 10.2.0.1 db and I need the pre-install info.
Thanks,
DeniseHi Denise,
The information in the August versions of the RepCA guides applies to the
10.1.2.0.3 version of RepCA:
Oracle® Application Server Metadata Repository Creation Assistant User's Guide
10g Release 2 (10.1.2) for UNIX
B14129-03
Oracle® Application Server Metadata Repository Creation Assistant User's Guide
10g Release 2 (10.1.2) for Microsoft Windows
B14130-03
There are 3 updates/caveats having to do with running 10.1.2.0.3 RepCA on
a 10.2 database. These will be in the January version of the 10.1.2 release
notes which will be posted on OTN soon. In the meantime, I have cut and
pasted them below.
We are working on a better way to coordinate certification updates with the
release notes.
Thanks!
Beth
3.1.17 Oracle Ultra Search Required (Oracle Database 10g Release 2 (10.2.x) only)
If you plan to install the OracleAS Metadata Repository on Oracle Database 10g Release 2 (10.2.x), then you must install Oracle Ultra Search on the database.
OracleAS Metadata Repository Creation Assistant checks if your database contains the WKSYS and WKPROXY schema. If your database does not contain them, OracleAS Metadata Repository Creation Assistant displays the following warning:
"The Database does not contain Ultra Search Schemas WKSYS and/or WKPROXY. Please install them and try again. Refer to the Database Install Guide and Ultra Search User Guide for more information."
If your database does not have Oracle Ultra Search installed, you can install it from the Oracle Database 10g Companion CD-ROM. See the Oracle Database Companion CD Installation Guide for details.
After installing Oracle Ultra Search, you need to load the schemas onto the database using the Database Configuration Assistant (DBCA). Refer to Oracle MetaLink (http://www.metalink.oracle.com) Note.337992.1 for loading Ultra Search schemas.
3.1.18 Patch Required Prior to Running the Metadata Repository Creation Assistant on a 10.2 Real Application Cluster Database
You must install ARU patch 7993184 before running the Metadata Repository Creation Assistant on a 10.2 Real Application Cluster Database. If you do not apply the patch, you will receive an error message during Oracle Ultra Search configuration.
To apply the patch:
Install the 10.2 Real Application Cluster database.
Create the database using the DBCA or during the installation.
Stop all Oracle Processes.
Install Oracle Ultra Search in the same Oracle home from the companion CD.
Apply ARU patch 7993184. Go to Oracle MetaLink (http://www.metalink.oracle.com) to obtain the ARU patch.
Invoke the DBCA to configure Oracle Ultra Search.
Run the Metadata Repository Creation Assistant.
3.1.19 Populate DB_DOMAIN Before Running Oracle Metadata Repository Creation Assistant on an Oracle 10.2 Database
The default installation option for Oracle Database 10g (Release 2) 10.2 does not populate the DB_DOMAIN. The OracleAS Metadata Repository Creation Assistant uses the value of DB_DOMAIN to construct the Oracle Application Server farm name as $SID.$DB_DOMAIN. You should ensure that the DB_DOMAIN is populated in the database with a valid value prior to running OracleAS Metadata Repository Creation Assistant. Failure to do will result in the default farm name of REGRESS.RDBMS.DEV.US.ORACLE.COM. -
Where is the documentation for Oracle Spatial Relational Model?
Hi,
I'm working with Oracle Spatial for my schema model. In the documentation "Oracle Spatial User's Guide and Reference" there is a note about what this is in OTN but i don't find it!!
Can anybody help me, where I find the "Oracle Spatial Relational Model Guide and Reference"?Thanks! But just i have read this information. And in the documentation for spatial 9.0.1 there is one document only, and in this document there is a Note that reference to nonexistent document with title "Oracle Spatial Relational Model Guide and Reference" this is the document that i'm searching.
Thank you for your help! -
Documentation for wscompile?
I finally got around to updating to jwsdp-1_0_01 and was surprised to find that xrpcc was replaced by wscompile in many build.xml files. Except for a few very general remarks in the Tutorial, I can't find any documentation for wscompile at all (Google returns only 4 pages for "wscompile"!).
Is xrpcc deprecated? (When my old build.xml runs xrpcc, it gives a warning that "sun.tools.javac.Main is deprecated".) Is there a man page, etc., for wscompile?
Thanks,
MikeOops, the format of my last message got munged. Here's anoter try:

Title: The JAX-RPC wscompile and wsdeploy Tools
1 The wscompile Tool
The wscompile tool generates stubs, ties, serializers,

The following table lists the wscompile options.
Note that exactly one of the -import, -define,
or -gen options must be specified.
Option Description
-classpath <path> specify where to find input class files
-cp <path> same as -classpath <path>
-d <directory> specify where to place generated output files
-define read the service's RMI interface,
define a service
-f:<features> enable the given features (See the below
table for a list of features. When
specifying multiple features, separate
them with commas.)
-features:<features> same as -f:<features>
-g generate debugging info
-gen same as -gen:client
-gen:client generate client artifacts (stubs, etc.)
-gen:server generate server artifacts (ties, etc.) and
the WSDL file (If you are using wsdeploy
you do not specify this option.)
-gen:both generate both client and server artifacts
-httpproxy:<host>:<port> specify a HTTP proxy server (port defaults to 8080)
-import read a WSDL file, generate the service's RMI
interface and a template of the class that
implements the interface
-keep keep generated files
-model <file> write the internal model to the given file
-nd <directory> specify where to place non-class generated files
-O optimize generated code
-s <directory> specify where to place generated source files
-verbose output messages about what the compiler is doing
-version print version information
The following table lists the features (delimited by commas) that
may follow the -f option.
Feature Description
datahandleronly always map attachments to the DataHandler type
explicitcontext turn on explicit service context mapping
infix=<name> specify an infix to use for generated serializers
nodatabinding turn off data binding for literal encoding
noencodedtypes turn off encoding type information
nomultirefs turn off support for multiple references
novalidation turn off full validation of imported WSDL documents
searchschema search schema aggressively for subtypes
serializeinterfaces turn on direct serialization of interface types
1.2 Configuration File
The wscompile tool reads the configuration file (config.xml),
which contains information that describes the web service.
The basic structure of config.xml follows:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<configuration
xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/jax-rpc/ri/config">
<service> or <wsdl> or <modelfile>
</configuration>
The <configuration> element may contain exactly one
<service>, <wsdl>, or <modelfile> element.
1.2.1 The <service> Element
If you specify this element, wscompile reads the
RMI interface that describes the service and
generates a WSDL file.
In the <interface> subelement, the name attribute specifies the
service's RMI interface, and
the servantName attribute specifies the class that implements
the interface.
For example:
<service name="CollectionIF_Service"
targetNamespace="http://echoservice.org/wsdl"
typeNamespace="http://echoservice.org/types"
packageName="stub_tie_generator_test">
<interface name="stub_tie_generator_test.CollectionIF"
servantName="stub_tie_generator_test.CollectionImpl"/>
</service>
1.2.2 The <wsdl> Element
If you specify this element, wscompile
reads the service's WSDL file and generates
the service's RMI interface.
The location attribute specifies the URL of the WSDL
file, and the packageName attribute specifies
the package of the classes generated by wscompile.
For example:
<wsdl
location="http://tempuri.org/sample.wsdl"
packageName="org.tempuri.sample" />
1.2.3 The <modelfile> Element
This element is for advanced users.
If config.xml contains a <service> or <wsdl> element,
wscompile generates a model file that
contains the internal data structures that describe
the service.
If you've already generated a model file in
this manner, then you can reuse it the
next time you run wscompile. For example:
<modelfile location="mymodel.xml.gz"/>
2.0 The wsdeploy Tool
The wsdeploy tool reads a WAR file and the jaxrpc-ri.xml
file and then generates another WAR file that is ready for
deployment.
Behind the scenes, wsdeploy runs wscompile with the -gen:server option.
The wscompile command generates classes and a
WSDL file which wsdeploy includes
in the generated WAR file.
2.1 Syntax
The syntax for wsdeploy follows:
wsdeploy <options> <input-war-file>
The following table lists the tool's options.
Note that the -o option is required.
Option Description
-classpath <path> specify an optional classpath
-keep keep temporary files
-o <output-war-file> specify where to place the generated war file
-tmpdir <directory> specify the temporary directory to use
-verbose output messages about what the compiler is doing
-version print version information
2.2 The Input WAR File
Typically, you create the input WAR file with a
development tool or with the ant war task.
Here are the contents of a simple input WAR file:
META-INF/MANIFEST.MF
WEB-INF/classes/hello/HelloIF.class
WEB-INF/classes/hello/HelloImpl.class
WEB-INF/jaxrpc-ri.xml
WEB-INF/web.xml
In this example, HelloIF is the service's RMI interface
and HelloImpl is the class that implements the interface.
The web.xml file is the deployment descriptor of a
web component. The jaxrpc-ri.xml file is described
in the next section.
2.2.2 The jaxrpc-ri.xml File
The listing that follows shows a jaxrpc-ri.xml file
for a simple HelloWorld service.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<webServices
xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/jax-rpc/ri/dd"
version="1.0"
targetNamespaceBase="http://com.test/wsdl"
typeNamespaceBase="http://com.test/types"
urlPatternBase="/ws">
<endpoint
name="MyHello"
displayName="HelloWorld Service"
description="A simple web service"
interface="hello.HelloIF"
implementation="hello.HelloImpl"/>
<endpointMapping
endpointName="MyHello"
urlPattern="/hello"/>
</webServices>
The <webServices> element must contain one or more <endpoint>
elements. In this example, note that the interface and
implementation attributes of <endpoint> specify the
service's interface and implementation class.
The <endpointMapping> element associates the service
port with an element of the endpoint URL path
that follows the urlPatternBase.
3 Advanced Topics
This section is for developers who are familiar with
WSDL, SOAP, and the JAX-RPC specifications.
3.1 Namespace Mappings
Here is a schema type name example:
schemaType="ns1:SampleType"
xmlns:ns1="http://echoservice.org/types"
When generating a Java type from a schema type,
wscompile gets the class name from the local part of
the schema type name.
To specify the package name of the generated
Java classes, you define a mapping between
the schema type namespace and the package name.
You define this mapping by adding a <namespaceMappingRegistry>
element to the config.xml file. For example:
<service>
<namespaceMappingRegistry>
<namespaceMapping
namespace="http://echoservice.org/types"
packageName="echoservice.org.types"/>
</namespaceMappingRegistry>
</service>
3.5 Handlers
A handler accesses a
SOAP message that represents
an RPC request or response.
A handler class must implement
the javax.xml.rpc.handler interface.
Because it accesses a SOAP message,
a handler can manipulate the message with
the APIs of the javax.xml.soap package.
Examples of handler tasks:
* Encryption and decryption
* Logging and auditing
* Caching
* Application-specific SOAP header processing
A handler chain is a list of handlers.
You may specify one handler chain for the client
and one for the server.
On the client, you include the <handlerChains> element
in the jaxrpc-ri.xml file. On the server, you
include this element in the config.xml file.
Here is an example of the <handlerChains> element
in config.xml:
<handlerChains>
<chain runAt="server"
roles=
"http://acme.org/auditing
http://acme.org/morphing"
xmlns:ns1="http://foo/foo-1">
<handler className="acme.MyHandler"
headers ="ns1:foo ns1:bar"/>
<property
name="property" value="xyz"/>
</handler>
</chain>
</handlerChains>
For more information on handlers, see the SOAP Message Handlers chapter
of the JAX-RPC specifications. -

LSX-00246: invalid QNAME "***_voting_flag"
This error is consistent with Spy 2008 as well (I didn't try Xerces but I've got two that agree so it's good for me). -
