Collect Multiple IDOC(Single IDOC type) to single file using BPM

Hi All,
When i am generating multiple IDOC for the same message type, i am getting multiple payload for the same as a result i used to get multiple files generated in application server.
Now if i use BPM only to collect multiple IDOC to a file then what all the steps that i need to follow for the same.
Ex: I want to post 10 IDOC for a single IDOC type,, Now using BPM in XI i want to collect all the 10 IDOCs with multiple payload into one single message and then want to process this in XI to generate the file.
It would be glad if anyone refer me a good step by step blog for the same.

Multiple IDocs to File using BPM

Hi All,
I have configured a scenario of multiple IDocs to file using BPM. In this scenario while I am triggering IDoc from R/3 system it is sent to the external program. I am getting in the status record of WE05 as IDoc is sent to an external system with status code 03. But I am unable to view the same message in moni of the XI system.
Also I have checked the ALE settings on both the sender and receiver side and it is fine.
Also in SM58 nothing is there in queue.
Can anyone solve this issue of mine?

Hi,
in many cases it's a problem with the RFC connection. You should try an authorization test in SM59 of the R/3 system.

Hi,
The inbound processing encountered a permanent error and the queue therefore stopped.
The error message "Permanent error in BPE inbound processing" may be caused by the following:
- At the start or when you process a process instance, the inbound processing encounters an exception that was not handled. This exception is triggered, for example, by a transformation step, a synchronous send step or a control step but it was not caught in an exception handler branch. If the exception that was not handled occurs in the first transaction of the started process instance, the system does not write the process instance to the database but it sets the queue that has this error message to the error status.
Refer to the help in Note 1082099
- The inbound processing triggers this error if the correlation evaluation shows that a message should be delivered to a process instance that has the status "error". Since delivery to process instances that contain errors is not permitted, the queue is stopped.
Use the simulation of the message delivery in the detail view of the relevant queue LUW to determine the relevant process instance for the affected message and use transaction SXMB_MONI_BPE "Continue Process Following Error" (or transaction SWF_XI_SWPR) to continue. If you cannot continue the process instance, check whether you can logically delete the instance. In this case, use the method that is described in Note 807906 to logically delete a process instance.
Check whether your system contains other process instances that have errors in order to detect similar problems. Use transaction SXMB_MONI_BPE "Continue Process Following Error" or transaction SWF_XI_SWPR.
Use the report RSWF_CRL_MAINTAIN to check all of the correlation instances in question or the relevant process instances that you can reach using "Display Work Item".
- Messages that cannot be delivered because no correlation instance can be found may lead to the error that is mentioned here. Check whether the causes that are outlined in Note 1094028 affect your case.

Idoc Bundelling with out BPM

My scenario:
Sender : ECC 6.0 (Idocs)
Receiver : MDM system (as a file)
I have all the DT, MT, MM etc imported from MDM system into XI under a separate SCV.
Please advise me a step by step procedure on doing this scenario using the above MDM structures available in XI.

if u want to do the idoc bundeling without the BPM then u can collect all the idoc a file from the R/3 system and the u can do the simple file to file scenario.
to collect idoc in the R/3 system do the followin steps.
1.Use transaction WE21 and create an XML file port in the R/3 system. Apply here function module for creating the file name. You can use a standard module to do the same.
2.Using WE20 to create the partner profile and assign the outbound IDOC message type in the outbound parameters.. This partner will be the R/3 server itself since the xml file will be uploaded on the R/3 Server . For this message type give the XML port created in the above step as the receiver port and select the option collect IDOCs as output mode. Give the basic IDOC type.
3. trigger the idoc using the transaction we19 and process the idoc.
4. the file will be craeted in the R/3 system. now u can download the file of multiple idocs.

IDoc in multimapping and BPM

Hi all,
I am doing one IDoc to JMS interface, I am getting 5 IDocs to BPM, all five IDocs are different, there is no interdependency between them. Once IDoc will come to BPM multi mapping will execute in which i am creating multiple JMS messages from IDoc line items(i.e if IDoc contains 5 Line items then i am creating 5 JMS messages in multimapping). Initially i used IDoc in abstract interface, but all my messages are stuck in SMQ2 ( error is: Permanent Error in BPE inbound processing). After that i used External definition(XSD imported from IDoc) in Abstract Interface, but still i am getting the same error.
                              i am doing below steps in BPM,
fork(5 receive steps) i made fork necessary steps to 1 and correlation as constant "abcde".
5 transformation steps in every fork branch immediately after receive steps ( multimapping used in transformation and receiver is multiline cotainer variable)
after this block withh ParForEach to repeat the multiline cotainer variable to send to receiver JMS.
is there any thing wrong in above steps??
still i am in dilamma on below points,
can i use IDoc in Multimapping directly???????????.
can any body give step by step procedure how to achieve this.
Note:- I know that i can achieve this with out BPM, there are some other special reasons to use BPM for this.

Hi Madhu,
Normally this error occurs for incorrect interfaces selection
   1. please check the all configuration done correclty..
   2. Go to SXI_CACHE.. refresh the cache.. check the status Code that sould be 0..
   3. go to swwl tcode and delete all the error transactions..
then try to excute the scenario.. still if you have the problem then check the box " Create New transaction " for First Transformation step.

Idoc-XI-Idoc Scenario

Dear All,
I am working on Idoc-XI-Idoc scenario in which I am getting ORDRSP Idoc in input. In one of its segment I am getting value as either A or B. If value is coming as A in input then in the output we want PORDCR101 Idoc but if we have B as value in the source idoc then we should have multiple PORDCR102 Idocs ie for each line item there will be different idocs.
Please guide me on how we can implement BPM in this scenario as required two MM i have created and they are working fine.

Error in IDOC-XI-IDOC scenario

Hi folks,
Let me explain the issue. This is an IDOC-XI-IDOC scenario. No BPMs involved. SAX parsing used to parse the IDOCs.
We had around 35000 IDOCs coming in from Brazil system, and they are all stuck in SMQ2 (Inbound queue) in XI. The first message of every queue is in SYSFAIL status, with the status text as Problems found during the EXPORT to specified keyin table.
When I try to execute the queue manually, nothing happens, but an error comes at the bottom of the screen, saying Function module does not exist or EXCEPTION raised.
I checked the dump on ST22, and it shows 130 runtime errors yesterday. The name of the runtime error is EXPORT_TABLE_UPDATE_CONFLICT.
In the what happened? part of the dump, it says Error in ABAP application program. The current ABAP program CL_XMS_PERSIST=============CP had to be terminated because one of the statements could not be executed. This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
Even SXMB_MONI is not opening (for yesterdays date). When I try to open it, it hangs for a long time, and finally opens an ABAP Runtime Errors page with the runtime error titled as SNAP_NO_NEW_ENTRY and the error short text as Runtime error: Unable to write short dump

Hello Prashanth,
First of all this is an XI issue and belongs in that forum.
The export problem is typical to situations where your XI DB is out of space/out of table space. Please check with your Basis team.
Function module does not exist or EXCEPTION raised- This message is a standard ABAP RFC message. For an RFC function call to succeed, you need the same RFC function to exist on both systems. However this is probably not the case- it is more likely that you're out of DB space as I already wrote.

IDoc to IDoc Scenario with High Volumes

We have requirement to load around 2.4 million idocs using XI from source SAP to target SAP system in ~8 hours. It's a IDoc to IDoc scenario with simple mapping involved.
I Have looked at various weblogs with the design optons such as BPM collect pattern, collect pattern using IDoc XML file and IDoc Packaging.
I am looking for inputs from real time experiences on such scenarios...i.e performanace statstics, best practices to handle such scenarios, hardware, XI basis tuning etc...
Please share any experiences on the same...

I have looked into the weblog mentioned( option 2 - collecting idocs using IDoc XML port).
I undersatnd that performance would also depened on hardware,tuning, idoc size, mapping complexity etc, but just get a rough idea and to decide on the design I was looking for stats, approaches followed in other projects and past experiences in such scenarios.

I cannot avoid collection of idocs as sending idoc's individually from source to target will have performance problems.
I can avoid BPM by using IDoc XML port collection ( option 2).
2.4 million idocs in 8 hours would mean that XI needs to process 300K idocs per hour. I guess I need to try option 2 and check the performance.

and second thing is tht working on production server.. i had done all the design part as wel as the config part for sending the same idoc to the reciever system .. it is bcoz later two fields are added to that sender idoc so i did all the mappings related to that .. after completing all when i checked the xml the two fields it is not showing in the xml.. wht might be the error can u explain me ...

Sld settings for idoc to idoc

hi experts,
for the idoc to idoc scenrio (not making use of BPM)
I have 2 business systems in sld which will be referring to the two r/3 systems.
suppose bus_system1 has logical system name as logsys1 for server1
suppose bus_system2 has logical system name as logsys2 for server2
in we20 for server1 and server2 what logical system name is to be included for the partner profile .(is it the XI server name with receiver port leading to the xi server)?
here there are 3 systems participating in the transfer of data and i am a bit confused . Please help.

IDoc to IDoc Scenario - Correct Interface Mapping configuration

Hello All,
i have to configure an Interface Mapping for an IDoc to IDoc scenario.
IDoc Type for sending and receiving already imported and located under Imported Objectes\IDocs in respective Software Component Version.
Now, how is the correct configuration? Add the sending respectively receiving IDoc Type directly to Source Interface/Target Interface under Display Interface Mapping or create first a sending Message Interface and a receiving Message Interface and add the IDoc type under configuration Message Types. Then add the Message Interface to the Interface Mapping.
The selection for direct import of the IDoc structure under the Interface Mapping (Source Interface/Target Interface) is possible.

for IDOCs (if you don't use a BPM)
you don't need any message interface
so if you have already created a message mapping
you can put the IDOCs directly to your interface mapping
then click on read interfaces
and select your message mapping program

Need help please......:IDOC TO IDOC

Hi frends,
As Iam a fresher to SAP XI, I would be very thankful if someone can answer this question.
Need to send a Delivery IDOC from a sap system to other to create sales order idoc on the receiver side if the sold to party is already present.
If the sold to party not present, one has to be created using an DEBMAS idoc and then create the Sales order idoc.
I am very much confused how to configure this BPM scenario.
As per the specification i need to create two interface mappings one for Delivery to Salesorder and the other for Delivery to Customer.
But I don't understand how two interface mappings can be created and used in a BPM scenario.
Please help me resolve this issue.

IDOC-Xi-IDOC: CRM - XI -R/3 (No service for system SAPOCC, client ** in ID)

Hi all
I am doing a scenario IDOC - Xi - IDOC where CRM sends an IDOC to R/3 via PI.
I have configured everything in OCC (CRM system), PI and BSC (R/3 system) but when I test it with the transaction WE19 in OCC nothing happens in PI or BSC.
All i can see if a message in SM58 transaction in OCC.
Function Module - IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS
Target System - XI.
Status Text - No service for system SAPOCC, client *** in Integration Directory.
Could anyone tell me what is the problem.

Error message: No service for system SAPCRD client 201 in the integration directory
Cause: There is no service without party in PI server that represents OCC server with client details.
Solution:
We send IDocs from system OCC to PI. In the control record (Segment EDIDC40) of the IDoc, the SNDPOR (SenderPort) field contains the value "SAPCRD". The client of the sending system is determined by the MANDT field of the control record. The system ID and client are then used to determine a service without party of the type (business-system/business-service)
In System Landscape Directory (SLD) create a technical system for OCC system and assign a client for the same. Don't forget to assign an "ALE logical system" to the technical system created. Create a business system for this technical system. Then Business System can be imported under service without party/update the details existing in PI.
