IDoc-XI-File Processing problem

Hi There -
I am looking for expert help in resolving following issue:
We developed multiple IDoc-XI-single File using BPM (with time=1 min) in SP14. The scenario was working fine.
Now we transported to XI SP15 on UNIX. While testing some messages are in recorded status with Q stopped error. But File is being created with some messages.
Help in resolving this issue is appreciated.
Regards,
Tom

Hi,
If there some idocs are missing while collecting, then try to do Local Correlation instead of Global Correlation.

  • IDOC to File Mapping problem.

    Hi all,
I am working on IDOC to file scenario. Here I need to create CSV file for some fields of the IDOC. Actually flat file should contain around 65 comma separated fields irrespective (independent of the segment presence in the IDOC) of the existence of the corresponding filed in the idoc structure. So could you please tell me how to handle this situation?
Here file is supposed to be created with 65 fields. But it only contains few of those, as some segments in the IDOC are missing. Is there any dependency between the filed and its header/segment?
    Thanks in advance,
    -Kanth.

    Hi Prasad,
<i>But it only contains few of those, as some segments in the IDOC are missing. Is there any dependency between the filed and its header/segment?</i> - yes, if your  source IDOC is having some segments missing, then your target will not have those segments, so some of your target data will be lost.......
To avoid this you can go for a JAVA mapping.....

  • Pse6 MAC - Multiple File Processing Problem

Hi - I have been using the PSE 6 MAC and processing multiple files converting from Camera Raw to JPGs.  All of a sudden, it won't run any more.  Gets stuck somewhere in the first picture and hangs up.  Anyone have any ideas?
I've rebooted and checked my available memory before running it PSE and it should have been fine at 3 GB.  I'm operating on a pretty new MacBook Pro5.1, 2.53GHz processor, 6MB Cache, 4 GB Memory.
Just can't figure it out what is causing it to hang up.
    Any help appreciated.  Thank you.
    Mary

No illegal characters.  Seems to be a problem in all the folders.
I just import pictures from my camera into a folder then run the Process Multiple Files on the Raw files to convert them to web quality & printables.  In the Process Multiple Files, I do check the Auto Levels for quick editing.   However, the same thing happens even if I don't check any of those boxes.  It just sits and hangs on the first picture.
The crazy thing is it was working just fine a week ago!  Not sure what has happened or changed since then.
Don't have a clue how to fix this.
    Thanks for anyone's help.

  • File processing problem

    Hi experts,
we are using Tidel system in this system Earlier date files will processed earlier than older date files (Ex: if you process 25th and 26th files, sometimes 26th files will processed on SNC, in this case 25th files will not be processed u2013 Says u201CObsolete Data Erroru201D)  my SNC system will processing 4 files at a time but we have to process the files with time gap thats using with BPM wait step . we need a better solution for this.

  • Orders IDOC  XML File Size Problem

    Hi,
I am generating an XML through XML port using IDOC. But I am getting on 3 KB XML file, so that a lot of Data is truncated.  How I get the complete XML file.

    Hi Raghu,
have a look at the XLSX file generated by Excel, you'll see that it's simply a zipped file. So you can't do it with a transformation, but you need CL_ABAP_ZIP class. I advise you to look at the abap2xslx project ABAP code (currently 3.0) to see how it works.
    Best regards,

  • Large file processing in XI 3.0

    Hi,
We are trying to process a large file of ~280 MB file size and we are getting timeout errors. I followed all the required tunings for memory and heap sizes and still the problem exists. I want to know if installation of decentral adapter engine for just this file processing might solve the problem which I doubt.
Based on my personal experience there might be a limitation of file size processing in XI may upto 100 MB with minimul mapping and no BPM.
Any comments on this would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Steve

    Hi Debnilay,
We do have 64 bit architecture and still we have the file processing problem. Currently we are splitting the file into smaller chuncks and processsing. But we want to process as a whole file.

  • File Splitting for Large File processing in XI using EOIO QoS.

    Hi
I am currently working on a scenario to split a large file (700MB) using sender file adapter "Recordset Structure" property (eg; Row, 5000). As the files are split and mapped, they are, appended to a destination file. In an example scenario a file of 700MB comes in (say with 20000 records) the destination file should have 20000 records.
To ensure no records are missed during the process through XI, EOIO, QoS is used. A trigger record is appended to the incoming file (trigger record structure is the same as the main payload recordset) using UNIX shellscript before it is read by the Sender file adapter.
XPATH conditions are evaluated in the receiver determination to eighther append the record to the main destination file or create a trigger file with only the trigger record in it.
Problem that we are faced is that the "Recordset Structure" (eg; Row, 5000) splits in the chunks of 5000 and when the remaining records of the main payload are less than 5000 (say 1300) those remaining 1300 lines get grouped up with the trigger record and written to the trigger file instead of the actual destination file.
For the sake of this forum I have a listed a sample scenario xml file representing the inbound file with the last record wih duns = "9999" as the trigger record that will be used to mark the end of the file after splitting and appending.

In the sender file adapter I have for test purpose changed the "Recordset structure" set as "Row,5" for this sample xml inbound file above.
I have two XPATH expressions in the receiver determination to take the last record set with the Duns = "9999" and send it to the receiver (coominication channel) to create the trigger file.
In my test case the first 5 records get appended to the correct destination file. But the last two records (6th and 7th record get sent to the receiver channel that is only supposed to take the trigger record (last record with Duns = "9999").
Destination file: (This is were all the records with "Duns NE "9999") are supposed to get appended)

  • Problem in idoc to file scenario

    hi
while creating the idoc to file scenario i am facing few problems.
    1) My design time objects are working fine. i have checked my message mapping, message interface etc.. (all design time objects are in active mode).
    2) In ID, i have tested my configuration in test configuration, its working fine there as well (in ID i am using 2 business service one for sender, one for receiver)
    3) i am using my ecc6 training server as my sender and using my XI server as receiver.
    4) i am sending idoc from ecc6 and converting it  to file in XI server and saving it in XI server itself(my receiver in this case).
    my error:
i send my idoc from we19 transaction, and i see a error message stating
    that 'RCVR_DETERMINATION.NO_RECEIVER_CASE_ASYNC'
    my doubts.
    1) while sending the idoc from ecc6, is it mandatory to give process code in partner profile ( that is, assign an outbound function module to push the created idoc to the mentioned destination).
    2) also is it mandatory to have a partner profile on the receiver side( XI in this case) along with inbound process code.
    3) in my receiver adapter ( file adatper in this case ) i have used NFS protocal. is it rite?
kindly help me with this issue.

  • IDoc to File scenario Monitoring Problem

    Hi,
I have a problem in monitoring. In my IDoc to file scenario the ftp server is not reachable (wrong ip) but still in sxmb_moni I get a successful processed message with acknowledgement system error.
Now, why dont I get an normal error in sxmb_moni?
    Thanks in advance...

    Hi,
    >>Now, why dont I get an normal error in sxmb_moni?
Why because in MONI we generally get the Errors related to the Message Processing like mapping, and pipe line Services.
But the error which u got is related to the Receiver, so this we can find out in the Receiver File Adapter monitoring( CC monitoring)
MONI Shows the Errors those are related to the ABAP Satck means if any Errors occurs while going the process on ABAP Stack
But the error which u got is on Adapter Engine Process, so Definately the Error finding place is on Receiver CC monitoring

  • IDoc-to-File: Status=processed succesfully but file is not always delivered

    Hi Experts,
I have a problem with a IDoc-to-File scenario. I generate an IDoc and send it to the XI-System. Afterwards a XML-file is created which should be transmitted to a filesystem or to a ftp server (I tested with both). In the SXMB_MONI the Message has the Status "Processed Succesfully" and the Acknowledgement-Status "Still awaiting acknowledgement". The problem is that not all files arrive the destination succesfully. sometimes they arrive and sometimes not. and always the same status in the sxmb_moni.
if a message not arrived the destination, in the message monitoring in the runtime workbench there is the status "To Be Delivered". If one Message has the status "To Be Delivered" the following messages get this status too.
the communication-channel-monitoring says that "the communication channel is correctly configured and started"
Can you help me? I don't know where the problem is. could it be that the adapter-engine has some problems?
    Thanks and best regards
    Christopher

    hi,
I clicked on details in the message monitoring but the fields "error category" and "error code" are empty. Then I checked the audit log in the message monitoring. there are the following three entries

  • Problems with processing outbound IDocs in background processes

    Hello everybody,
I have a question for working with ABAP-PSS Ports.
The behvaiour is that I want to send master data, for example customers, to a function module. This function module works like an converter which process and writes the files in the filesystem.
    Following situation:
    - I have defined a partner System with different message types, for example DEBMAS and everthing what is necessary to replicate data to partner systems.
    - I have defined also a Port like ABAP-PPS Port for calling my own function module.
    - If I runs the program I process only 50 Idocs per process because otherwise i can happen that there are to many look entries in the system and the job crashs. (For example all customers are around 50000 Idocs).
Now my problem is that the worker for processing idocs starts each process in the foreground and in parallel.
But this is very strange! Because then all dialog processes are reserved and the system will be very slow!
How can I configure the Port or what have I to implement in my fucntion module to start processing in background (this is the very important point) and maybe allow the program only to use one or two process at the same time?
I have found on the function module EDI_DOCUMENT_CLOSE_PROCESS which I the parameter "Background". What thas this mean? I have set B for this but it has no effect!
    Regards
    Christian

I know that for inbound interface it is possible to define if in foreground or background and if parallel processing is allowed.
Who knows how I can do this also for outbond?
