The Portal framework code (including PortalAppflowHelper) uses ejb
references to find the PortalManager (and other EJBs) from servlets and
taglibs; that is what is signified by the java:comp/env/... name.
Since you built your webapp from scratch (instead of using the portal
wizard), you will need to make sure the you have the appropriate
<ejb-ref> entries in your web.xml, and the corresponding
<ejb-reference-description> entries in your weblogic.xml. By default,
you will need at least mappings for:
- ejb/PortalManager
- ejb/UserManager
- ejb/GroupManager
- ejb/PipelineExecutor
- ejb/EventService
See either the resulting webapp from using the portal wizard or
BEA_HOME/weblogic700/samples/portal/sampleportalDomain/beaApps/sampleportal/sampleportal/WEB-INF
for example syntax.

Time machine: An error occurred while copying files. The problem could be temporary. If the problem persists, use Disk Utility to repair your backup disk.

Time machine backups are failing. I've followed the instructions I found on the Time Machine troubleshooting page (http://pondini.org/TM/Troubleshooting.html) but have gotten to where I don't know what to do next.
Sequence of events:
The main error message is always:
An error occurred while copying files. The problem could be temporary. If the problem persists, use Disk Utility to repair your backup disk.
Yesterday, I opened Disk Utility and verified the disk. Got this error:
Error: This disk needs to be repaired using the Recovery HD. Restart your computer, holding down the Command key and the R key until you see the Apple logo. When the OS X Utilities window appears, choose Disk Utility.
I ran Disk Utility and repaired the hard drive. Then I manually started the backup before going to bed, figuring it was going to take a long time to run. When I got up this morning, the backup had failed with the same "could be temporary" error. I checked the log, which says:

You have repaired your boot drive (which is good) but have you repaired your time machine drive? I don't own a Time Capsule so I don't know if disk utility can operate on it. If it can, you should repair it as well. You may need to erase it and start a new backup. That happens to time machine volumes from time to time and is why people who are serious about their data never rely on a single source of backup.

          Currently I use separate connection for a publisher and a subscriber in the client. In order to use noLocal attribute, I have to use the same connection for publisher and subscriber.
          Is there any disadvantage to have them to share the same connection?
          On the other hands, using separate connection for publisher and subscriber doubles the number of connections. We expect to have 2000 clients, so that there will be 4000 connections. Does JMS has the limitation of the numbers of the connections?

WL Connections are light-weight. In practice, the only penalties of extra connections is that each connection consumes a bit of extra memory on the client and server (there is not a socket per connection), and that each connection takes a (relatively small) amount of CPU and time to create and close.

I have been trying to download the Pokemon X&Y soundtrack from iTunes for about a week now, and every single time I get one of two messages... "Could not purchase [album]. Sorry, that isn't possible. The email address is used as the account name. If you need to change it, a new account would need to be created.

You probably need to recalibrate the battery. See link below.
Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

Yes. You can directly connect an 802.11n AirPort Express Base Station (AXn) using an Ethernet cable. The AXn would then just need to be configured as a bridge to allow the D-Link to continue to provide both NAT & DHCP services for all network clients connected to either router.
In this configuration, the AXn would broadcast a wireless network for your wireless network clients to connect to.

Your router may not have given your iPod a valid IP address. Go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the ">" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address shown starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet.
Sometimes the fix can be as simple as restarting your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). Next, reset network settings on your iPod (Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings) and then attempt to connect. In other cases it might be necessary to update the router's firmware with the latest from the manufacturer's support web pages.
If you need more help please give more details on your network, i.e., your router make/model, the wifi security being used (WEP, WPA, WPA2), etc.
