If I change a font, editor pane doesn't display multibyte character.

When I use a default font(DialogInput), editor pane display multibyte character correctly.
But If I change a code editor's font(anonymous, proFontWindows etc.), editor pane does not display multibyte character correctly.

Assuming the configuration, there is no Korean setting for allfonts sector.
If you add some configuration and adjust "search sequence" properly, Korean font will be shown in code editor.
Unfortunately, I don't know how can I rebuild the font configuration in JDevelper.
Gurus, please leave useful information for rebuilding font configuration in JDeveloper or JDK 1.5

  • ID3 tag doesn't display the character "ă"

I can see ă in file names, in the terminal, gui programs. Using tagtool, it will correctly show "ă" in a file name, but not in an ID3 tag, it just shows "?" for that character. Same behavior in mpd and mplayer.
I have no problems displaying lots of other non English characters, letters with umlauts, graves, rings, etc.
Edit: I deleted all tags and rewrote them with the command line program id3 making sure to only write v2 tags. The tags work in mpd/sonata now. The strange thing is I had written v2 tags previously and it wasn't working. For some reason deleting everything helped?
    Solved I guess,

Probably the old tags had a different encoding than your system locale expected, and when you re-typed them, they were written with the correct encoding. Especially if these files came from some other OS, that's very likely.

no, the Windows DOS shell utility sets the font. The System console is not for GUI displaying (and font is also a GUI component).

  • How to change the font of the text in Control Editor??

How to change the font of the text in Control Editor??

    Hi,
you have to create a smartstyle and acces that in So10 transaction.in change mode,menu->FORMAT->CHANGE STYLE.
here you will get all styles available.
so first you have to create a style in SE72 and activate it. and then
    goto SO10-> change mode
    menu->FORMAT->CHANGE STYLE.
now you will see the style you have created. select that.
now you can see the format.

  • Changing the font size does not work with Textarea with HTML Editor

If you change the font size in the text area of a "Textarea with HTML Editor" item it does not work. I've searched the forum and the only solution I've seen is to use an HTML editor foriegn to APEX. Does anyone have a better solution? Thanks, Elizabeth

I'm having a similar issue except with HTML Editor Standard.
What I'm doing is allow someone to write to an HTML Editor Standard field and then an HTML marked up text is saved to a db CLOB column. In another page, I reference this DB column and show it in an HTML Region (I do a computation Before Regions for a hidden item that writes out the html with "htp.p")
Everything shows up fine EXCEPT the font tags and headings. I'm finding that the HTML Region sets the font size only with the < d i v s t y l e="font-size: large" >and NOT < f o n t size:6 >. When the HTML Editor renders the user's text input, any size changes are made with the < f o n t > tag, which is depreciated anyways, and not with "style". That's why the size is not showing up.
I can't really figure out why the headings aren't showing up except maybe the css style in the region is overridding it...
    Is there another APEX item type like HTML Editor (which uses FCKEditor) that I can use, or maybe another approach to remedy this issue? Or maybe this post calls for an enhancement with the HTML Editor?{size}{size}

I keep getting a message on startup saying 'Do you want the application "KodakAiOBonjourAgent .app" to accept incoming network connections?' It says settings may be changed in the Firewall pane of Security but I don't see how.  Doesn't matter what I click (Deny/Submit). The message still pops up on starup. I have a Kodak printer and am running Mavericks but I don't think it started when I upgraded.

Just fixed this on my machine, the easiest way to remove this pop-up assuming you are no longer needing that software to print is the following:
    Open Finder
    Go > Go To Folder...
    Type In: "~/Library/Application Support"
    Delete All Folders Named Kodak
    Open System Preferences
    Go to "Security & Privacy"
Click the lock and enter your admin password
    Click the Firewall Tab
    Go to "Firewall Options..."
    Find KodakAiO
Right-click KodakAiOBonjourAgent or equivalent (I forget the exact name)
    Click "Show in Finder"
Go Back to a folder and delete the Kodak Folder there.
Remove Kodak from Firewall Options by selecting it and clicking the " - " button the base of the list.
       or
    Open Finder
    Go > Go To Folder...
    Type In: "~/Library/Printers"
    Delete All Folders Named Kodak
I'm going off memory, so If I forgot something let me know.

  • Change link font size through theme editor

Is it possible to change font size of link element using theme editor? I can't find corresponding parameter. Is it inherited from somewhere else?
    Thanks in advance.

    Nadezhada,
If you want to change any font size of the text on Top level Navigation (top level tabs) or MasterHead(Masthead) then you can use theme editor.
But it wont work application level. For example if you want change the font size of a text in the a iView or any application, then you should look the possibility of changing that corresponding application.

  • Is there any way to turn off the auto formatting in Pages?  I just want to type a letter and add pictures and titles, and Pages keeps changing font sizes and doesn't let me "Do it my way".  I HATE this!

Is there any way to turn off the auto formatting in Pages?  I'm using a blank document, so I figured I could write my letter and add pictures any way I wanted to.  But NO!  Pages keeps changing the font size!  I typed a large heading as a title, and when I try to change to a smaller font for the body of the letter, it changes the size back to the larger size!  I am getting SO FRUSTRATED!  I've spent over an hour trying to get the stupid program to let me just type my letter!  Can anyone help?

The only one left is the "unsubmitted text" dialogue, which would not be a problem if I were not a Facebook user; after updating the "Richard is..." field (which does not require a manual submit to actually send) I get the above message. This is obviously Safari just not realising that the info has been sent and is therefore (I imagine) one for Apple themselves to answer!!
You're welcome Rich. Glad to help.
Not being a Facebook User, I'm not sure how to respond to the error situation. However, this would be something to report to Apple as a bug via the Safari Menu. First, open to the page in question, then select "Report Bugs to Apple".

  • Use Resource Editor to change colors/fonts in Logic 8?

Many years ago I used to develop for the Mac (now I'm a Mac-challenged Windows guy).
I seem to remember ResEdit, where one could change the fonts and colors of the different objects of a program. Everything like this was in a resource fork, so that the program could be localized for different countries.
Any developers out there? Would this be possible with Logic 8?

Short answer: highly doubtful for fonts, probably possible for graphics if you really have the time.
Long answer: Since OSX, Apple has been trying to get away from using resource forks, although they are still obviously supported by the OS in some areas. Applications in OSX no longer can store their entire executable code and resources in a resource fork; they instead store them as plain 'ol files located within the program's bundle.
If you look inside the logic 8 bundle (by right clicking on it in finder and then going to "show package contents"), you can see for yourself what's there. You'll see that there's only 2 font files in the bundle, and both of them are used for scoring. Logic probably is using system fonts, and to change the way that it renders them, you'd also need to alter the program binary somehow. So you'll just have to keep begging apple to re-introduce the preference for non antialiased fonts.
As for graphics, you can see that within the Contents/Resources directory, there are hundreds of familiar TIFF files used to build the Logic UI. I suppose, if you really felt so inclined, you could redo them all yourself provided you kept each one the same size. However, it should be noted that this is kind of a fool's errand, not only because of the time involved, but also because any changes you make will get blown away by software update for newer versions of Logic.

  • How can I change the font in html-file

    Hello,
if I create a new html-file in KM-Content - Folder - New - Html-File, I always get the font Times New Roman. In the editor I have Arial oder something similar - but not in the view.
Does anybody know how to change this font to Arial? Where do I have to configure what? Thanks
    Regards,
    Susanne

    Hu Susanne,

sorry that I´m no mathematician or a SAP EP-consultant
    Never mind!
So "dumb" is maybe the wrong word
You didn't realize the ";-)" behind it?!
It's just that this strict "it doesn´t work like you wrote" was a bit irritating, in fact it works, it's tested on the same version as you are on, and it's also not a very new feature (new features often are buggy at some ends).
But now I had a second look on the link I have given - and sorry, even if it should help, in fact it was the EP50-version. The NW04 version, which seems you have already detected by yourself, is http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/a8/923717bc40dd49b1e296b9877e98f0/frameset.htm
After having seen this, I also found this ominous description of "HTML Filter for Portal Stylesheets"http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/cc/b8f941db015f24e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
Yes, this does in fact not exist on EP6 SP9. You could open an OSS message and ask to delete the description of a non-existing feature or for delivery of it.
Anyhow, it shouldn't do more than the HTML Stylesheet Filters are already doing - maybe it would choose the corresponding CSS by itself?
Is there anything else I have to configure anywhere?
The prerequisity is "The publishing pipeline is configured appropriately.", but this should be the case by default.
The repository used is "documents" and the html file you have been using is stored in this repository?
The stylesheet exists on the location set within the stylesheet configuration?
There are not sooo many screws to turn...?!
    Hope it helps

  • Cannot change the font size of presentation title

    Hi there,
After I published a PPT with Presenter, I found that the presentation titile was too long to show the whole name, the last few words was lost. I tried to change font size smaller in "Theme Editor", but it can only change the font size in Notes. Is there any way we can change font/font size for outline pane (index) and presentation title (I mean the title on the top of the index, not slide title)?
    Thanks!

    thanks, Mahesh.
I tried your method, but it still cannot work, there is no changes on the font size (see screenshot below). It's a Japanese presentation, does it matter?
Can the height of the top area be changed in order to show all title name?
