If I deauthorize all computers, will I lose my library?
will I lose my library if I deauthorize all computers?
No. De-authorizing a computer simply means it is no longer recognized at iTunes until it is reauthorized. It has not effect on your iTunes library.

If I deauthorize all computers will I lose my money credited?
I have recently purchased Iphones for myself and sons. I want to have a separate account from my school account. If I deauthorize all computers will I lose the itunes card credit that my son has placed on the account?
Do not deauthorize anything, just make your own account for your iphone.

Back them up anyway. Other things, such as hard drive failures, can.

if i deauthorize all computers, wil i have a problem authorizing most of them immediatly?
You won't have any problem, you'll be able to re-authorise up to 5 of them straight away

Also, is there a way to manage which computers are authorized if I dont have them anymore (select which computers to deauthorize instead of all of the)
You lose nothing.
Deauthorize all, then authorize the active computers. -

If I deathorize all computers and start again will I loose everything on my itunes? Also, does an ipad or iphone count towards your authorized use?

HT1420 once i deauthorize all computers will i be a to re- authorize some of those same computers
How can I de-authorize computers I no longer own
As per your posts subject, you use iTunes to deauthorise all your currently authorised computers, you can do this once a year. Yes, you can then reauthorise those individual computers you actually still have.
So if you had for example lost one computer out of five, you would deauthorise all of them and then reauthorise the remaining four. -
What will the screen show when I deauthorize all computers? Will it show them and then I select the ones to authorize? I don't want to undo or be unable to re-authorize the ones I still want.
"What will the screen show when I deauthorize all computers? "
Nothing. Not sure what you mean.
" Will it show them and then I select the ones to authorize? "
No.
You have to authorize a computer from that computer. You cannot authorize a computer from another computer. -
How do I deauthorize all computers associated with my Apple ID?
Hi all,
First post on Apple Support Communities :-)
When I bought my first Apple product (iPad 2) a few months ago, I didn't know anything about Apple IDs, iTunes Store, Home Sharing and Computer authorizations. I experimented a little with iTunes and home sharing in VMware virtual machines (Windows 7) on my computer (Ubuntu). I quickly used up the 5 authorized computers, so I used the "Deauthorize all computers associated with your Apple ID" feature in iTunes and kept on experimenting (since I couldn't get things to work properly in my virtual environment).
Now I have an iPhone 4S and my daughter has an iPod Touch 4G, and I'm planning on buying the new Apple TV. But I'm not going to because I can't have Home Sharing. I can't "clean" the authorized computers because I did it a few months ago and it is only permitted once a year.
It is possible to request an exception (and how?) and have the authorized computers cleaned up?
Thanks a lot
SebastienIf you can't deauthorize systems just by the "deauthorize" command under the Store menu in iTunes, then go here:
http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/
and follow the instructions to report the problem to the iTunes Store. They may be willing to clear your authorizations for you.

If I set up Firefox Synch on two computers, will I lose all the bookmarks, preferences, etc. on one of the computers, because they will be replaced with the other computer's Firefox bookmarks, etc.? Or will the synch combine bookmarks, etc. of both computers, so that bothe browsers have all the bookmarks that were present in both browsers? If I add synch to a third computer, will those bookmarks also be added to the existing ones for all the other computers?

How do I deauthorize ONE computer? All I see in account information is the option to deauthorize ALL computers. I do not want to do this. I authorized an iPad at my previous employer (school for Autism) and want to leave that one authorized so the students will still have access to the apps and music. How can I just deauthorize the desktop (windows) that I no longer use?
I am in a similar situation. Hoping there has been an update to fix this problem by now.... I do NOT want to deauthorize all 5 computers, AT ALL. I only want to deauthorize 1 computer I do not have anymore! Because there is no way I'd ever want to deal with re authorizing the other 4, when I only need to deauthorize ONE.
Have they patched this problem yet? -
Is there a way to deauthorize all computers without waiting a year?
We have been doing some re-arranging of computers, and I forgot to deauthorize all my computers before wiping harddrives and cleaning things up. I didn't realize it, but I had used the deauthorize all function in the store to clean up my itunes account in the middle of last year. I need to do it again, but it appears I am unable to do so for at least another 6 months. Since I have quite a bit of music locked up in iTunes (I will never buy DRM'd music again because of this), I need to find a way to deauthorize all computers once more so I can listen to my songs and watch my movies I have purchased. Is there a way to do this inside the 1 year period you're supposed to wait?

I want to 'deauthorize all computers'. the Apple web says to go to Account Information and click deauthorize all, but that option is not available on the screen. How else to I get to the deauthorize all computers.
See Here
Authorise / Deaurhorise About
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1420
Login to iTunes, go to "view your account info" on the itunes store, deauhtorise all five, and then re-authorize your current Computers one at a time.

How could I sync an Android device with a Mac mini?
There does not seem to be any obvious way to sync contacts, or, indeed, much of anything. 'Accounts & Sync', in 'Settings' on the device doesn't acknolwdge that the Mac exists by direct USB connection, Bluetooth, or 802.11 wireless. The device doesn'
