I want to 'deauthorize all computers'. the Apple web says to go to Account Information and click deauthorize all, but that option is not available on the screen. How else to I get to the deauthorize all computers.

Login to iTunes, go to "view your account info" on the itunes store, deauhtorise all five, and then re-authorize your current Computers one at a time.

The reset link will only show if you have a rescue email address on your account (an alternate email address is different). If you don't have one (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions) then you will have to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.
How are you trying to contact Support ? You should be able to do so via the following :

When they've been reset you can then add a rescue email address for potential future use : Manage your Apple ID primary, rescue, alternate, and notification email addresses

Yes, it looks like they've screwed up. Some people have been able to update CC to LR6, some people get half way through the download and it fails, some people (me included don't get any option to upgrade to LR6 in the CC app... It's all very annoying. I tried the help chat, and I got "log out of the CC and try again in 2-3 hours". Well, that was half an hour ago, but I'm not holding my breath for getting LR6 today.

It depends on how you wiped your drive. Depending on how you did it, only the directory was erased and the data can be found with drive recovery software. Some are free, although there is a small charge for most of them (~$30). You can usually download a trial version that shows if it will work and you have to pay to be able to save the found files. Use Google to search for the software. Different programs work differently and can find different things.

That is the adapter I purchased from Apple which does not fit in the Apple Universal cradle (which apparently is no longer universal). However, I just created my own solution. The cradle holds the dock connector at a slight angle so the adapter, which has a straight bottom edge, will not slide down far enough to make a connection. Since the adapter has a plastic case, I used my Swiss Army knife to whittle it down to fit. It's a no-tech solution, and free!

The iPhones may have been stolen or the donors intended you to be left with a brick
There is no solution .Apple will NOT unlock them ,it is an anti theft device and since it was introduced with iOS 7 from the posts here it will be very successful at making stolen iPhones useless

I found the above link helpful! Apparently the @me.com is a separate "apple id" ...pretty stupid - the whole reason I got the @me.com e-mail is I thought I would streamline everything into one....

So in this updated version of Pages under share all the options are not there

In the previous version of Pages, you could always click on share and then click on email and they would give you option of PDF, word, pages, etc. Now there is not an email option. I have to save it as a word document and then find it under finder and then attach it to an email, Many more steps. This has got to be a mistake

There are too many versions of Pages, and OS X in play now to speak in generalities such as in the previous version of pages.
On OS X Yosemite, with Pages v5.5 (requirement), the appropripate Sharing menu structure to send a document via Mail remains (as it was in Pages v5.2.2 on Mavericks). Once you click on Mail, a new sheet slides down, offering PDF, Word, etc.

Very simple. Turn off Find my iDevice, then Tap Settings, General, Erase, Erase all content and settings.
