If I have multiple accounts in my mail on a macbook, is there a way to separate the different accounts like in two separate tabs?

I can't think of a way to show them in tabs, but Mail lets you open as many Mail list windows as you like. Set the Mail window to show just the inbox for Account A, then choose File/New Viewer Window and set that window to show just the Account B inbox. Arrange the windows next to each other.
I open multiple viewer windows all the time when dragging messages from inboxes to various folders, it saves a lot of time.

Only downloads from iTunes will be tied to that iTunes account, unless you subscribed to iTunes Match and uploaded the other songs from your computer to it. If you can't remember the account's password then you could try seeing if you can get reset via this page : http://iforgot.apple.com
If that doesn't work then you could try contacting iTunes Support and see if they can help : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
When you've got access to the account you can update the primary email address on it to be one that you still have access to : http://appleid.apple.com

When composing a new message in mail on OS X 10.9.2, is there a way to change the "sending" account on a per-message basis?

Click on the pull down window next to From: and you should be able to select the individual account you want to send from. The account that you want to send from must be an Enabled account in the Account Preferences of Mail.

How did you merge them? Unless you copied and synced all data from one account to another manually, there's no way to automatically merge two accounts.
But, if you did manually move files from one account to the other, you'll have to manually move files from the merged account that belong to the other.
If I've misunderstood your meaning, please post again, giving details on how you "merged" two accounts.

I have a MB Pro early 2011 with SL. Is there a way to upgrade the graphic "drivers" without upgrade the entire OS?

As the title says, I have a MacBook Pro with an Intel HD 3000, and I'm still using Snow Leopard (best OS ever). I tried upgrading to Mountain Lion, and I found out that there is a grafic enhancement. Is there a way to install ML "drivers" (or kext, if you prefer) on SL?

No as the drivers work between the OS and the hardware, the OS has changed.
Apple doesn't release the drivers anyway, nor does the dedicated graphic card makers for Apple.

First, turn everything off for iCloud...contacts, calendars, FaceTime, iMessage, notes, Find My Phone, etc. You'll be prompted to keep the data on your phone or delete it...select keep. Then: Settings>iCloud...scroll down...delete account. Then, set everything back up using your new ID.

I would like to have multiple preference files for Mail on one computer, one copy for each person in the organization. I want everybody to log in as the same user. Is this possible?

Since the Mail.app preference file (along with all other application preference files for a user account) is stored in that user's Home folder/directory, I don't believe this is possible.

Las week Rackspace started controlling the number of concurrent SMTP connections and we are now getting the following message when we send as little as 15 messages at a time using Database Mail:
Exception Message: Cannot send mails to mail server. (Service not available, closing transmission channel. The server response was: 4.7.0 smtp13.relay.dfw1a.emailsrvr.com Error: too many connections from IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx)
We are using SQL Server 2005 and Windows 2003 and we have been doing this since 2006 with no problems

Usually, we can use the Database Mail Configuration Wizard or the Database Mail stored procedures to determine the server name and port number for the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) server . In the SMTP server points, we can set or increase the number
of concurrent connections.

The question mark means the computer cannot find a bootable volumes so can;t do anything, That, combined with annoying sounds, strongly suggests a failed hard drive.
You can ask a "genius" at an Apple Rtail Store to test it but I'm pretty sure the drive is kaput. I'm hoping you had your data backed up.
