If I want to create a form...?

Any tutorials on this?
Should I build it in Flash and import?
Are there lingo forms?
Any advice plse.

You can build a form in Director using editable Text or Field
member types. I am not sure I understand what you have in mind
specifically. Perhaps detail out why feel that forms in Flash would
be the answer.

Thanks! That will help. I didn't want to start to recreate this form in another app. It is one I created in Live Design before we upgraded and I lost that app. Now I cannot edit the form anymore so I need to start over. This way I can just re-create what I already had.

I want to be able to fill out the form and it place itself into Sheet 1 without changing everytime. I can index the array from the form, but it changes everytime.

You think it would be the other way around.
Just speculation, but forms probably came to iOS first because of likely use for data entry in the field that syncs back to the Mac. On a small screen with a touch interface, forms make inputing values easier.
On the Mac, with its bigger screen, typing directly into a data table often works well enough.

Unfortunately Formscentral does not support drag and drop pictures into your form. If you want to form filler submit their images with other form data, you can use file attachment field. Add an file attachment field when design form, so that form filler can add their image file into it and submit with other form data.

There are online form sites that you can use like JotForm, Wufoo, etc. Jotform creates some very nice looking forms which you can embed into an iWeb page. The free package gives you 100 submissions per month and 10 SSL secure submissions per month. Over those numbers you will need to pay a monthly fee.

Or you can create your own Form Action form which uses the visitor's own email client to send the information. This is not best integrated method to obtain the information. An example of this type of form is also on the page linked to above.

Sorry FormsCentral doesn't support calculations on online forms. You could achieve something like that with a PDF form (with the logic you need in it) and then import this PDF in FormsCentral.
If you use the PayPal integration with the online form then paypal will show the total.

I want to be able to have a form in which people can upload a file from my form which also provides information through other fields.
this does not seem to be available through Muse. Can I use Muse for this type of field?

Unfortunatly that sort of field is not yet available in Muse.
A couple of ways that do work with Muse is to:
1: host with Business CAtalyst and use their custom forms
or
2: Use Adobe Forms Central and embed the form into your muse site.

I am having trouble finding the templates that were offered in the previous version of Adobe. Before, when I wanted to create a form, I could simply click "create form" select from template, and I had access to dozens of varieties of forms. Now when I try the same thing, it only lets me scan in a paper form. I don't have a paper form. That's why I'm trying to make one.
Any advice would be appreciated, I have tried to search for my question but the help function keeps redirecting me back to "how to prepare a fillable form" and tells me to use a paper document. Why did this simple task become so difficult all of a sudden?

That was the FormsCentral designer software. Adobe has decided to discontinue FormsCentral, so it wasn't included with Acrobat DC.
The usual way to create a form in Acrobat is to create the layout in a program such as InDesign or Word and create a PDF. You can then add the fields in Acrobat, which can attempt to automatically add fields where it thinks they belong.

Added can be viewed in SQL Workshop but can't when want to create form

Added schemas can be viewed in SQL Workshop (SQL commands)
But can not view the added schemas in the list when want to create a form based on table

Can I create a form in muse and have it work with a different hosting service?

I contacted a hosting service that I need to upload the site I built in MUSE to. (Hosting has already been purchased). I asked OMNIS:
I want to create a form with Muse and then upload my site to OMNIS, not muse, the forms will display as I designed them, but they will not function. I have someone to help me who is experienced in working with code. I can use Muse to export my site and then open the files in an HTML editor. "Update the source code of the form to make it compatible with the form processing technology used by your hosting provider (OMNIS) before you upload the files to their server." Can you help me with this? Do I need to get a script or something from you?

I read in another forum:
There's a handy piece of software from CoffeeCup Software called "Web Form Builder". It's pretty affordable and easy to use and it can be hosted on the server of your choice provided that server uses an up-to-date PHP script.
This is what I have been using....but I would rather not have to deal with a third party form builder at all.
Do you reccommend this?

Unable to create per forma invoice w.r.t to Free of charge delivery

I create a free of charge delivery order type ZFD (copy from order type FD). I create a delivery (VL01N) with reference to free of charge delivery order & done PGI. But when i want to create Per forma invoice of this delivery with reference to delivery number, i am not able to do this and got message No billing documents were generated. See log Message no. VF032.

Creating a Form with Report based on View

Hi All,
I wanted to create a form with report based on two tables so:
1. I created a view (called COMBO) based on two tables
2. I then created a form with report based on the view
Everything seemed fine thus far until I tried to edit existing records - I got the error:
ORA-20505: Error in DML: p_rowid=2002082600001172, p_alt_rowid=REPATRIATION_ID, p_rowid2=, p_alt_rowid2=. ORA-01776: cannot modify more than one base table through a join view
Unable to process row of table COMBO.NB: REPATRIATION_ID is the primary key of the Repatriation table. The other table is Applicant.
& when I tried to create a new record - I got the error:
ORA-01776: cannot modify more than one base table through a join view
Unable to process row of table COMBO.Someone please enlighten me!

Hello Kamo,
You need to create an 'instead of' (update/insert/delete) trigger on your view to process the inserts etc into the 'real' tables.

Creating a form which allows the adding of rows to a table

Hi there,
I am trying to create a form to get declarations of trusteeships, directorships and large shareholdings of our company's directors, so that we can manage any conflicts of interest. Some directors will have one or two declarations to make; others may have a dozen or so.
I want to create a form for each director to make all of their declarations, but can't see how to create a table, with the ability to add more rows, if you have more declarations to make.
Is there a way t do this?

This is not really possible to achieve with a form created in Acrobat. You
can create the fields in advanced and then show/hide them, but you can't
"re-flow" the file on the fly and add more form fields to it, pushing the
rest of the content down the page. For that you would need to use Adobe
LiveCycle Designer, which has a separate forum here.
