I need to get the values from the database and need to display it in the iframe.When I try to give the values in the iframe between <iframe> and </iframe> it is just blank.Can anybody help pl!Thanks

Simple solution would be using <jsp:include ... /> instead of iframe. But you will loose the FRAME feature, and will have to change the URLs inside that framed page.

It pulls data based on your own settings, information from this calendar will not display if embedded on your website. So if you are already logged in to your gmail account and preview the Muse page in the same browser, it will display the content, or it will ask you to login. Another option is to make your calendar Public and then paste the iframe code again, it should than work without login. Please have a look to the screenshot below.

"iFrame" help needed

hi everyone...
please excuse me if my question is idiotic, but i am new at java...
i have been using "iFrame" in my web site.. when i click on the menu item (the menu program is a javascript), it displays the output in an "iFrame"...
unfortunately, many NS browsers do not support iFrame...
so, i am trying to create an "output box" into which i can display html documents (or any other documents for that matter, possibly even pictures)...
this way, the whole page does not have to be downloaded, only the contents of the "output box" can be downloaded....
also, using this method, the index page can be modified, without having to worry about modifying all the other pages....
any and all help would be greatly appreciated...

Iframe help-open links around original iframe in same window

I have been able to make a flash nav menu using iframes.
I have a separate page for the menu, and the iframe goes to that menu page. I have an html snippet on each page that uses the iframe to access that menu page.
Here is the code being used:

Here is the problem, the menu flashes each time a link is clicked on, what I would like to do, is leave the iframe menu in place, and have the links open up around the iframe menu in the same window.
Thus is would look like the nav menu never moves and pages open up around it.
Is this even possible?

Iframe help

i gave my iframe a name, but no source because i need to
target this frame to load several different HTML pages. i have an
onClick on my buttons and what page to load and then target the
iframe. but it reloads the main page in the iframe. i have tried
adding it as a behaviour and changing it to target the iframe. what

Adding an ABAP Web Dynpro application to a Java Web Dynpro screen

Hey fellow SAPers
This is an interesting one .........
We have developed a bespoke ABAP Web Dynpro screen that we want to include into a tabstrip in a Java Web Wynpro application. We have managed to do this by inserting an iFrame into the tabstrip, and then passing the UWL of the ABAP Web Dynpro app. This works. However, life is never that easy and of course whenever the screen is refreshed, the ABAP WD app is called again and so any changes to the data on the ABAP screen are lost as the data in the ABAP app is re-selected and the data returns to it's original state.
Does anyone know:
- of another way to incorporate an ABAP WD screen into a Java WD screen (as a tabstrip)
- how to de-activate a Java view so that the view containing the ABAP WD app is refreshed (i.e. the window is refreshed), the view is not refreshed and the ABAP app is not re-called .....
- any other ideas ....
of course, we could re-develop the same screen in Javam, but that would be too easy

I'm guessing you want to show this within the WDJ app not above, below to the left, right...
This is a very very difficult thing to do - I'm guessing that you are not actively passing data into the URL of the WDJ IFrame, but just have "decorated" the WDJ app with the a statically linked IFrame. In this case the only thing you have to tie the two together is the user id that you are using - and potentially the time the app was launched. You could in theory use a shared memory area (watch out for multi app server environments) to store the state of the app in case it got refreshed... but this is not a simple thing to do...
Consider if it is absolutely necessary to enhance the WDJ in place - hopefully you can just replace it with a WDA when you install EhP5

Iframe shows only code - Help, please!

I'm on OS X 10.4.5 and have designed a website that uses iframes (this is a must as there is a lot of content and I do not want the page bigger than the set size, so I need a way to scroll the content within the page size (955x600). I use Firefox for myself (and it looks great) but the person I'm doing the site for uses Safari. When he sees it, needless to say, it isn't going to look right. All it's displaying is the code for the iframe page as if I'm viewing the source for the page (within the iframe on the main page). Have they fixed the problem with iframes in Safari? And if so, what do I need to make it work in both browsers? Or is there another design tactic I can use instead of iframes?
Any help or suggestions are very appreciated.

I actually found my error. It wasn't code within the file but I had saved it as a .php file (based on a file I found at another website that used it for their iframe) and when I changed it to .html it worked! But thanks, again, for your advice because it caused me to research iframes and I found they were all using .html/.htm files to call on.

Iframe redirect javascript help please

My client uses a loan application on another service's site, and I embedded the form in an iFrame to keep the user on my client's site.
At the Submit of the form, it redirects to the client's home page, but it does it within the confines of the frame -- I want the redirect to go to the "top" Home page. Unfortunately, the offsite service cannot apply a target="_top" to the redirect link script.

Is it possible to code your iframe to recognize this URL and redirect the full site to your home page rather than depending on the vLender redirect within the iframe?

I suggest that you research the topic in your FrontPage help files.
Yes, we do know how to solve this problem using ordinary HTML and JSP. The sample code that you've posted implies that you are looking for an extremely different solution. To put it another way, it looks like you're logging onto the Federal Aviation Administration's forums and asking them how to go from Chicago to New York by train.
But in any case, if you can't find the information in FrontPage, I'm 100% certain that if you went to www.microsoft.com and searched for FrontPage and downloads, and skipped the results that actually want you to download FrontPage, you'll get some sample code.

Unable to view local HTML content from "Help Content Only" SSL iFrame

Can anyone confirm whether it is possible to view local HTML files within an iFrame when generating Help Content Only SSL content which is also locally deployed?
I have had no problem viewing local html files from within an iFrame with a locally viewed Browser-Based Help project but despite trying a number of variations on the syntax, I simply cannot obtain the same result from a Help Content Only SSL that is then incorporated within a merged help system. I can however create hyperlinks to view local content using the following syntax (file:/C:\folderName\fileName.html - the only drawback for local preview is that you must right-click and select "open in new tab"). Essentially, I am trying to eliminate the requirement to have to right-click and open in new tab to view local html files.
The project I am working on is deployed both locally and remotely and this whole process is necessary for emergency management and business continuity purposes.
I hope my explanation isn't too convoluted and would be glad to clarify it further if required. I would appreciate any assistance!

I will start from the beginning and hopefully clarify my process when deploying my application locally (my remote process differs somewhat but is not germane to this discussion). Obviously this will contain some repetition from previous posts but I hope it helps...
The project itself integrates content created from Adobe RoboHelp with content created within Adobe Dreamweaver
First, I should mention that I am using RoboHelp 8 as I don't believe I have addressed which version I am using. There's nothing particularly unusual about the project itself.
Utilizing Dreamweaver I have created a self-contained HTML-only (no server-side functionality) website which is placed at the root level of the C: drive
Within the RoboHelp project I create a hyperlink to access the local HTML files from the RoboHelp topic pages. The process I use to do so is from within the HTML view of the specific topic page and I use the following file path: "file:/C:\folderName\fileName.html". The only end-user requirement is that they must right-click and select "open in new tab", otherwise the link does not work. Please note, this is ONLY required for accessing the local HTML files.
I output my RoboHelp project using the Adobe Air SSL, with the output type set to "Help Only Content" which creates the .rha files. I utilize multiple .rha files within my project as each .rha file constitutes a module specific to an individual municipality (in my particular instance)
I use the Help Viewer Wizard from the RoboHelp "Toolbox" pod to create what I refer to as the "shell" .air file. Once the "shell" .air file created from the Help Viewer Wizard is installed, it creates a shortcut on my desktop.
I place an XML .helpcfg file within the directory on C:Program Files where my "shell" .air file has been installed to reference each .rha module which must be placed at the root level of the C: drive in order to be properly referenced by the .helpcfg file
By double-clicking on the desktop shortcut created in Step 6 it opens the "shell" module which, in turn, loads in each individual .rha file which can be accessed individually from the drop-down menu in the top-right corner
Why do I do it this way?? My organization severely restricts admin privileges on our workstations. We have one IT person / several hundred officers so I needed to create a system where the only time we need IT assistance is in the initial installation of the "shell" .air file created from the Help Viewer Wizard and placement of the .helpcfg file within the C: Programs folder. Once this is done, because the .rha files are on the C: drive, I can swap these out and update as necessary (we currently have an annual renewal cycle) and we require no further IT intervention. The local system I have just described has hyperlinks to the online browser-based help so that users can also access it and see any content updates made throughout the course of the school year
Having said all that, based on the model I have just described, I have been trying to create iFrames from within my RoboHelp 8 topic pages (placed on my C: drive) to access the local HTML Dreamweaver site (also on my C: drive). The problem I have been having is that the resultant iFrames display only a blank white page and I have tried a number of variations on the syntax of the file path without success.
The process I have been using to create the iFrame is as follows:
In Design view, select Insert >> HTML >> iFrame
In the iFrame dialog box, provide a name for the iFrame and then navigate to the local file on my C: drive level Dreamweaver HTML-only website that I want to link to.
Click "Apply" and from the resulting dialog box states that "This action will create an external link to the help system... Do you want to continue?", I click "Yes"
The resultant file path is "../../../../../folderName/fileName.html" which obviously won't work but I have created the iFrame and now I switch over to HTML view and insert the file path that I have been using for the hyperlinks ("file:/C:\folderName\fileName.html"). I also modify the width to 100% and the height to 1000 px
The user is not being directed to a different domain. So, if as Adobe states, that iFrames are "supported in local AIR Help (.rha) as well" then I don't know why it will not work for me. Again, this is the file path that allows me to create a hyperlink which will access my local Dreamweaver HTML files: "file:/C:\folderName\fileName.html" so if that syntax works for a hyperlink, why will it not work for the iFrame?
The videos I referenced are also contained within the local Dreamweaver HTML site
My usage of the term "merged help" may have been unclear and hopefully steps 1-8 outline what I am doing

I think it should be manifestly evident by now that I am self-taught and basically that's the only excuse I can offer in my defense for my poor articulation. The <IFRAME> tag is IE specific; Netscape doesn't
recognize it.
Netscape uses the <LAYER> and <ILAYER> tags to
accomplish the same thing; if you need to have a
page-internal frame that has its own source, you'll
need to use one of these tags.
If you need to work with both browsers, you'll need to
write out your tag based on the browser being used.

I think that if replace options in NSTrackingArea for NSButton it will be help me
In Debugger I saw that default options is 4225 - I think that it's NSTrackingMouseEnteredAndExited|NSTrackingActiveAlways|NSTrackingAssumeInside

Please elaborate more as what exactly you are referring to, which iframe widget ? also by url do you mean page url where you are using iframe ?

IFrame enabled cameras - Please help!!!

Hello!
I've been shooting home video with a miniDV camera but editing is often slowed by the real time importing process.
I'm wondering if an iFrame capable camera like the GC-WP10 (water proof jvc model) is used by anybody here. I'm editing home video for viewing on a Hi-Def 55" wide screen tv so the quality is kind of important.
Can anybody offer help and advice?? I'd love to have a portable unit like the JVC and heard that iFrame would make importing to imovie easier. Does iFrame maintain the same quality?
My mini-DV camera is standard video so I'm thiking that even a portable, newer HD camera with an SD card would be better quality and make life easier.

I would definitely not recommend the JVC model if you intend to view it on a 55" wide screen. The video quality is subpar -- even my old MiniDV footage taken with a GL-2 beats it by a few extra yards.
If you want to beat MiniDV, you really need to step up to something like a Panasonic TM700K 3MOS if you want to better it. Or get a video capable DSLR like a 5DMK2 or the newer Nikon D3100 or D7000. MiniDV is a mature technology and if you bought an expensive one like around $1000 to $2000 range in the past, it will be better against the cheaper $300 1080p or 720p cheap camcorder stuff you can buy nowadays.
Also in iMovie, you can "save" your imported footage from miniDV as DV stream for loseless later editing. You are not required to print to tape and then re-import as this process takes a long time. Just import once and keep the *.DV file as your master footage. This is what I'm doing.
