IFrame in UCM

I am viewing the UCM iFrame in Siebel and it shows the various attachments to a Siebel entity. A custom button needs to be added to the iFrame. I have a requirement to select multiple attachments at a time. Is it possible to select multiple attachments?
Thanks
Pradeep

Hi Srinath
I didn't understand what you suggested.
Let me elaborate the requirement further:
I am viewing the UCM iFrame in Siebel and it shows the various attachments to a Siebel entity. A checkbox needs to be added to select multiple attachments at a time. Requirement is to copy the selected attachments to another Siebel Entity on click of a button(custom).
The functionality that exists by default allows you to update each attachment manually, but i need to do it for multiple attachments at a time.
Thanks
Pradeep

    Any ideas how to prevent? Chrome's dev tools don't show an error.
    Thanks much ...

    Hi,
    hard to advise because this effect would need to be reproduced to flag this as a problem of the ADF Faces stack. If this shows in the context of UCM then this is what you need to exclude as a possible error source first. Can you create a JSPX page in JDeveloper and add the calendar page in an iframe (please build the calendar page in JDeveloper as well). If the behavior doens't show then, you would need to report the issue on an UCM forum

  • Form builder in UCM

    Hi,
    We are looking for a usefull form builder i UCM/Stellent.
    We need to be able to capture form data easily.
    I have tried the web form builder it works, but it has to integrate with my web application. I have tried with an iframe but when i go into contribution mode the webform is all over the screeen.
    How does others capture form data in UCM/stellent, so that it integrates into a normal web-application?
    regards
    Johnny

    As I mentioned in my previous post, I'm not sure if there is a config param where you can modify it. Therefore, the only way that remains is a custom component.
    If you are familiar with building (intradoc) custom components, you will need to identify which include and/or result set contains the displayed fields and remove it from there. It will require a bit reverse engineering (or alternatively, you will have to find somebody who possesses this info), but it's not complicated. In fact, the process is well described in this book http://www.amazon.com/Definitive-Stellent-Content-Server-Development/dp/1590596846 , chapter 9. It's a bit too long to be described in the forum.
    Btw. if there is a way to configure the param, you will find it during the reverse engineering.

  • IFrame in JCaps

    I am doing a 2 part Home Page.
    The upper part is a dynamic table,the lower part is iFrame that should
    change any time I click on a row in the table.
    However, creating an iFrame using link doesn't work,
    I used a PageLink name, any solution, or sample?
    Anyone?
    Thanks In Advance

    Thanks

  • How Can I call a UCM service from SOAP request

    Hi,
    I have created one custom service and I would like to call that service from 3rd Party system via SOAP call. The 3rd Party system does not have the capability to call through RIDC.
    Now I have exposed my service and tried to call but authentication exception was coming status code 401.
    So I created one sample ADF application and tried to call the DocInfo service for testing (I thought let's try DocInfo then I will check my custom service). I downloaded the DocInfo service from UCM and  uploaded the WSDL into the project and got the client DocInfoSoapClient.java file.
    public class DocInfoSoapClient
      @WebServiceRef
      private static DocInfo docInfo;
      public static void main(String [] args)
        docInfo = new DocInfo();
        DocInfoSoap docInfoSoap = docInfo.getDocInfoSoap();
        DocInfoByNameResult res = docInfoSoap.docInfoByName("TEST_001603", null);
        System.out.println(res.getContentInfo());
        // Add your code to call the desired methods.
    The error is coming like:
    Exception in thread "main" com.sun.xml.ws.client.ClientTransportAccessException: The server sent HTTP status code 401: Unauthorized: http://xxxxxxxx:16200/_dav/cs/idcplg
      at com.sun.xml.ws.transport.http.client.HttpTransportPipe.getClientTransportException(HttpTransportPipe.java:340)
    I tried a lot but same error. There should be some process by which I can send the userid and password but failed. Even I tried to send the properties as key value pair in IdcPropertyList but I know that is wrong.
    I checked the Issue: https://community.oracle.com/thread/2424460
    But there was no answer.
    Can anyone help on it?
    Regards,
    Santanu

    Hi Santanu,
    You need to write SoapHandler in order to pass username and pwd. You will need 2 classes namely HeaderHandlerResolver & SoapHandler. This is how i do in in my JAX-WS clients. I generate stubs and then attach handler to webserviceinterface
    PFA HeaderHandlerResolver.java and SoapHandler.java you would attach soap handler something like this in your code i have never done this via ADF so not sure.
    HeaderHandlerResolver soapHandlerResolver = new HeaderHandlerResolver();
    docInfo.setHandlerResolver(soapHandlerResolver);
    In SoapHandler class you will mention username and pwd like this
    soapMessageContext.put(BindingProvider.USERNAME_PROPERTY,"username");
    soapMessageContext.put(BindingProvider.PASSWORD_PROPERTY,"pwd");

  • Error while importing N Accounts to 1 Address with UCM Batch Manager

    Hi,
    I got a problem with importing Accounts using the UCM Batch Manager. Previous steps were loading the EIM Tables EIM_UCM_ORG and EIM_UCM_ADRPER. To associate addresses I used the column EIM_UCM_ADRPER.PAR_UCM_ACCNT_UID. No errors occured during an Enterprise Integration Mgr jobs to load the data into SDH tables.
    The error described below occurs if I have N Accounts using one Address. Example:
    h5. Account Name --> City --> Postal Code --> State --> Street
    Account #1 --- Munich --- 80331 --- N/A --- Some Street 1
    Account #2 --- Munich --- 80331 --- N/A --- Some Street 1
    h5. If I try to get the Accounts into the Base tables using the UCM Batch Manager I get the following message from the log file:

    Does anyone know how to handle this problem?

    I have selected the option
    Add new metadata and replace existing objetcs. But it is not importing. Also I tried other options like
    1. deleting the existing mapping and tried.
    2. Putting the mapping in recycle bin and try.
    3. Take it from recycle bin.Even during taking it from recycle it is giving me the following error .
    Error occurred importing mapping
    <DWH_CMMDTY_INVC_FACT_MAP/DWH_CMMDTY_INVC_FACT_MAP>
    (at line 141).
    Detailed Error Message:
    API2014: Internal Error: Error in createStage:
    In above all cases it is giving me the error.
    Could you please help?

  • Iframe content in YUI tab disappearing - only in firefox 11

    We have an internal web site developed with YUI which uses the tabview control along with some content provided through an iframe. When the page initially loads the iframe is displayed but when switching between the YUI tabs the iframe content disappears. This stopped working with the upgrade to Firefox 11. It was working with all previous versions including up to 10.0.2.

    Try posting at the Web Development / Standards Evangelism forum at MozillaZine. The helpers over there are more knowledgeable about web page development issues with Firefox. <br />

    I'm not clear on where you are seeing that text. When I view Google's cached page from the page found in this search
    https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Asitetrail.com%2Faskearth.com
    It doesn't match yours exactly. There is an iframe with a Google map in it in the "Hosting Analysis" section, which in your pasted page seems to be the "Site Server" section.

  • UCM workflow: Unable to capture the reject event.

    Hi guys,
    We are using UCM 11.1.1.5
    We want to customize our workflow with 3 stages. If a particular user rejects the workflow, we want to display a error message and abort the reject action.
    hence we wrote under the Entry event of the previous stage as follows
    <$if wfAction like "REJECT"$>
    <$abortToErrorPage("Sorry you cannot reject this stage.")$>
    <$endif$>
    But we found that the script was not triggered when a user clicks on Reject button. Is there anyway we can capture the Reject Action?
    Is it a bug in UCM 11.1.1.5? Anybody faced similar problem.
    Please help us
    THanks & Regards
    Jacob

    hi,
    Unfortunately I don't have the solution as I also am facing the same issue. You can also follow my thread here at the forum. Search for "workflow issue using wfAction" here at the forum.
    Have you tried to run the test under the Test tab and what results do you get?
    cheers,
    Ibrahim

    would be thankful to him/her...

    Are you using a BT Home Hub with the IP Phone attached. This holds onto the SIP port that iChat uses. There is no way to get the router to release this port.
    I had to return it all to BT as unfit for purpose and switched to Eclipse!

  • How to access UCM Web Service in Oracle.

    Hi All,
    I am trying to call UCM Web Service (CheckIn.wsdl) using oracle.
    But these web services are secured and expecting username/password.
    Any one have any idea to pass username/password in oracle function.
    My Code :-
    CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION checkin (dDocName IN VARCHAR2,dDocTitle IN VARCHAR2,dDocType IN VARCHAR2,
    dDocAuthor IN VARCHAR2,dSecurityGroup IN VARCHAR2,dDocAccount IN VARCHAR2,

    It's compiling successfully.
    When ever i am trying to run using
    SELECT checkin ('WEBSERVICE009','WEBSERVICE009', 'Document','weblogic','Private','IT/EBA/Distributor_testuser','D:/ucmfiles/test_WebService_11.txt') FROM dual;
    It's expecting username/password...
    Any body have any idea.

    If you are using apex, you have access to the wwv_flow_web_services package that has all the procs you need to made this work. If not, you can use flex_ws_api, which, although a bit out of date, should still work. This can be found at: http://jastraub.blogspot.com/2009/11/flexwsapi-no-on-samplecodeoraclecom.html
    Hopefully this will get you the start you need. Don't forget soapUI. This has proved to be invaluable in my development just to prove something works. It becomes a very easy way when I keep hearing, "UCM doesn't work....".

  • Form based login, iframes and session time out

    Hi all,
    I'm trying to create a site using form based login.
    The site contains a page protected page, default.jsp that have a logout button/link (clicking it invalidates the session), and a navigation bar with links linking opening them in iframes inside the default.jsp page:
    I have also a login.jsp page and and a error.jsp page
    Everything works fine I can login, I can logout. My problem occurs when the session times out and the user tries to access protected contents in the internal frames. He then is promted for a new login. The problem is that the login,jsp page now turns up inside the jframe designatet for my contents.
    I woud have liked the login page to turn up at the top level i.e. filling the entire browser window (i.e on the same level as the default.jsp page). Is this somehow possible?
    Regards
    Uno Engborg

    Easy answer: use JS to jump out iframe.
    Best answer: don't use iframes, but use server side includes like jsp:include. Iframes have too much disadvangages, topping the extremely bad SEO and UX.

  • Access a partner application through an iframe without reauthenticating

    I have an application (written using apex) that is an sso partner app. I want to be able to embed the application within a portlet (probably a dynamic page portlet generating an iframe) in my portal. When a user access the portal page that contains the iframe they are initially forced to reauthenticate within the iframe.
    The problem lies in the sso session. I think when you access an application through an iframe it treats everything in the iframe as if it were in a separate browser session. This means that when you try to access the application in the iframe it still redirects you to the sso server even though you are already authenticated via portal.
    So this is the problem, has anyone got any ideas on what the solution might be?

    Hi,
    Did you find any workaround of the above issue?
    I am also struggling with it.

  • How do I link a google drive edge animate project to an iframe?

    I have a simple edge animate project as a test. It has the following files in the root:
    edge_includes folder containing 3 images and edge.5.0.1.min.js
    project.html
    project_edge.js
    I want to be able to have these files stored on google drive (or dropbox or alternative) and link to them through an iframe on my website. I've tried doing this by keeping the file structure the same on google drive and just referencing the shared link of the html file, but the project will not work.
    I've also tried replacing the src links of the edge.5.0.1.min.js file and the image files to their shared links on the google drive. This didn't work either.
    Is there any way to host the files externally and have them still reference each other properly so the html file can be linked into an iframe on a different site?
    Many thanks in advance
    Barry

    Just to add the relevant requested information:
    I am using the latest version of Edge animate (2014.1)
    Google chrome (and IE desktop not metro as backup)
    If anyone wants to see the file then I'm happy to link to it, but I don't think the question really warrants it.
    Thanks again.
