Laurannecleenwerck what error message do you receive when trying to install Adobe Premiere Pro? Also which operating system are you using?

• Running Windows 7, all versions of Firefox beyond 3.6.0 will not access websites, showing Error 404 and displaying only the portion of the URL that follows the domain name

Choosing any of several dozen bookmarks, Firefox will show a screen reporting Error 404 and display only part of the complete URL (whatever follows the slant mark beyond the domain name). When going to a new site, such as provided by a Google search, the initial page may show up but clicking on links within that page again brings up the 404 error. My only solution has been to uninstall whatever new version of Firefox has been automatically downloaded and then re-install version 3.6.0, which works.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox.

Just upgraded to Firefox 10 on a Window7 64 bit PC. Google Finance charts no longer work. Checked the web for similar. Updated to latest compatible Adobe Flash player 32 bit as suggested. Flash player works. I can see finance charts in IE, but not Firefox 10. I can see finance charts on Yahoo in Firefox, but not Google finance charts. Main chart at google.com/finance is displayed. Individual stock charts don't.

Several problems continuous since first installing Firefox. Personal google search settings don't save; remember me options on web sites like Facebook aren't remembered; Youtube and Flixy videos don't play despite removing/reinstalling/upgrading Firefox several times; upgraded the latest flash plugin today, but no difference, symptoms are black play box with youtube and white box with Flixy. Disbale AV and antimalware makes no difference either.

• I need to know if the last non beta version of firefox supports the google toolbar. I will only update firefox if that is the case!

one month or two ago i was in NY at a friends house, and he updated firefox and in the new version what happened? "kaput" GOOGLE TOOLBAR GONE.
There are features in GT that firefox does't provide. I won't live without GT. Therefore i will only update firefox when sooner or later, will come to know that the new version doesn't "kill" GT.

Google decided that they will no longer produce the Google Toolbar for Firefox beyond Firefox 4. Future versions of Google toolbar will only work with IE7-9. Google Toolbar is not available on any other browser, even Google's own browser.

• Firefox cannot open google

Everytime i type in www.google.com I get this:
The connection has timed out
The server at www.google.com is taking too long to respond.
I have a laptop which runs firefox and opens google just fine. I have cleared my cache and cookies and tried all the other suggestions on the forums with no luck. I even tried getting there through a proxy server but had no luck.
HELP?!?

You have to delete your cache and cookies: http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Calendar/thread?tid=7151a96597e7c798&hl=en
I tried deleting various subsets of cookies and, in the end, deleted all cookies. After that, everything worked OK.

• The stupid firefox gives me Google in Greek, just because I am in Greece at the moment. Can I change that?

the stupid firefox gives me Google in Greek, just because I am in Greece at the moment. Can I change that?
No further details

Insist all you want, Google is doing the redirection based upon the IP address you are connecting with. Did you read the Google support answer that I hyperlinked?
'''"Bookmark http://www.google.com/ncr . This is an alternative web address for Google.com that always takes you to Google.com without redirecting you."'''

• Why does Firefox beta4 keep google searching and freeze?

Whenever I click google from my firefox beta4 page Google does the search and then keeps loading and never completes. It allows nothing else to be done except close the window.

Yes, all other web pages that I visit including my bookmarks load with no issues.

• Either make firefox compatiable with Google tool bar or I am gone

I cannot use Google toolbar with firefox that is important. If this is not fixed, I will stop using firefox...too bad.

Google needs to update the Google Toolbar program for Firefox 5.0.
The Google Toolbar '''7.1.20110512W''' version does work pretty good in Firefox 5.0 by using the Compatibility Reporter extension. But not every feature works 100%.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/add-on-compatibility-reporter/
http://googlesystem.blogspot.com/2011/06/enable-google-toolbar-in-firefox-5.html
Google Labs has been working on a GTB 8 version, but it looks like it isn't made for Firefox - just for Internet Explorer.
http://www.google.com/support/toolbar/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1111588#toolbar_info
So, maybe Google isn't going to be supporting Firefox any longer. That might be a move to force Google Toolbar users over to Google Chrome, which I believe has all those features built-in.

• Using the 4-11 beta; I can't rid the start up screen of Yahoo search..Firefox Start w/Google is squeezed to the left, behind the Yahoo search.

Recently, using Firefox 3, Yahoo Search took over the screen..previously it opened with Google. I had also downloaded MS word 2010 recently. Hoping (lol) Firefox 4-11 B would set things right, it was downloaded. Now we open with Firefox Search w/Google squeezed to the left (1/7 of the screen), overlaid by Yahoo search. I'm running XP OS.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
