Im having all kinds of problems with my wallpaper scrolling continuously. i cant lock any wallpaper on my home or lock screen. Does anyone have any suggestions?
My wallpapers will not stop scrolling. It constantly scrolls and it's very annoying. Any suggestions?
Do they scroll automatically, like you don't have to touch the screen? Or is this a setting you have set where they will loop endlessly if you swipe one way or the other? Is this the LG Home launcher or a 3rd party launcher app?

I am having all kinds of problems with playlists since I downloaded 0s8
Since I downloaded 0S8 on my phone, ipap, iPod touch, and iPod and my powerbook, I can't get playlist from iTunes to transfer over. I also can't see songs I had currently put into a playlist unless I back totally out of iTunes. What's going on. I was djing a gig when the song I selected came out totally different from what was selected.

I am having all kinds of trouble with itunes and updating my ipad. I open itunes up but it doesn't do anything except open to a blank screen. I try to access the itunes store but it won't go there. When I connect my ipad, and try to update it, it starts and then I get a message that says backup cannot be saved on this computer. I have tried everything suggested to no avail. This is the 2nd or 3rd time I have had problems with itunes. Sometimes I even get a message that I am not connected to the internet.
I have uninstalled and re-installed. Any help?You might not have enough space left on your hardrive.

I'm having all kinds of problems since loading Lion and I really wish I hadn't bought it yet. Even after the software update today, 1. my modem still won't work, 2. Photoshop Elements produces muddy photo prints, 3. View preferences in windows don't hold, etc. Anybody at Apple listening? Anybody else out there having these kinds of problems?
10.7 was horrible unstable so I waited until 10.7.1 and tried it again. Well I have to say that it is still a defective OS. I am reverting to Snow as we speak from my carbon clone copy.. This is really the worst OSX I have ever used. It gives me random Kernel panics for no reasons, unstable airport and hundreds of small issues that are just not necessary. For instance I can't use QuickTime in Lion to trim a videoclip ( the UI goes mad and the trimslider becomes inoperable and hangs the Player window ) while in Snow it is no problem. Itunes gives me crackling sound when the equalizer is turned on, Graphical glitches in Photoshop, games crashing, Preview.app not working with some pdfs, so I need Adobes reader which I never used before.. It is definately not ripe for mass usage. Might 10.7.2 or 10.7.3 fix it, but not yet.
* and just for the records : the hardware is absoltely ok. Because in Snow it works as it should. ( So many Lion fanbois are talking : "your Ram is defect", defintely NOT. - Lion is defect! ).

Does anyone have a suggestion for an alternative to iCal that will interface with the Cloud so it works on the iPhone and the Macbook? I find iCal to be poorly designed and not very efficient. I waste a lot of time entering information because you can't go to a specific day and enter information, nor can you navigate between months and add information on a specific date by clicking on the date. You can't easily scroll month-to-month and once you do by scrolling through nine months to get to where you want to be, you cannot enter information by clicking on a specific day in the month and entering information. I just called Apple and they verified that this is the way it works. You cannot go to a date and enter information, you keep getting thrown back to today and then you have to go into the calendar and change it manually on the screen. It is just not efficient.

How do I change a default from feathered edge to sharp edge when I select a path?
I'm working in Photoshop CS6 on a Mac and am having trouble when I select a Path it automatically feathers the selection border. I can't seem to find any place to adjust a feather setting. Does anyone have a suggestion? I'm using paths to silhouette an image on a photograph to use in another document and I need a hard edge on it, not a feathered one.In the Paths panel, click the flyout menu (in the top right of the panel) and choose Make Selection (this option will only be available if you have a path selected). Reduce the Feather Radius to 0 (zero) and click OK. This setting will be the default even when clicking the Load Path as Selection button.

I recently purchased a refurbed iMac with a 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. It came with iMovie ver. 9.0.5 installed. I do allot with iMovie and iDVD and would like to get a camcorder to add movie clips. Does anyone have any suggestions for a reasonably price camcorder that would work with my setup?

Please Help!!!! I have an ipod touch 4th gen. and since the last update the lock button no longer works, this has caused it to have a lot of problems now like freezing all the time, kicking me out of almost all my apps, some times even when if locks on its own its not locked and buttons with be pushed in my pocket, and this causes the battiery to die fast. I really love my ipod and would like to just get it fix if possible for a reasonable about of money. Anyone know of a place I can get it fixed in Ft Lauderdale Fl area or is there something I can do?

i play restaurant city on Facebook, among other things, but the game crashed every time i breathed on it. somebody suggested Chrome, so i switched to it...just for that game.

In the current Firefox 34 release there is a new "one-off" search bar.
This search bar doesn't show the name of the search engine and a logo.
You can type one letter to make a drop-down list appear where you can see suggestions and see the used search engine and that also has bar at the bottom where you can select other search engines that are enabled via the Search tab in Options/Preferences.
You can use the Tab key to select one of the other available search engines and press the Enter key to search with the selected search engine.
Click the search engine icon and click "Change Search Settings" to open the Search tab in Options/Preferences (positioned between Tabs and Content) to select the default search engine and select which search engines to show in the search bar drop-down list that opens when you start typing search terms. -
My 3-year-old Macbook is suddenly having all kinds of problems.
Symptoms, all within a few weeks with no warning: First iTunes got corrupted. Then lots of 'corrupt file' error message with Word (seems to be xlsx files). Then Entourage started crashing repeatedly and hanging up. The fan started coming on a lot.
What I've done: Visited the genius bar. Scanned the disks--no problems there. Installed and ran iAntivirus--no problems there. Did a clean install of OS X. Did a few one-off solutions that I found on other forms to address fan and Entourage database problem.
Result: Even after the reinstall, I am still getting corrupt Word files. Fan still comes on more than it should.

The Genius should have done a SMART scan. That is standard procedure, especially with a new hard drive.

Just updated to Maverick on my IMac and have all kind of problems with Iphoto and Mailbox
I recently updated my IMac to Maverick and was not aware of all the problems that came with this update. In Iphoto a lot of pictures disappeared and other are turned upside down other were wrong format. In the mailbox I tried to sort by name of sender to find out that names of sender are not matching the mail. One name that I have had on e conversation with was related to 10 mails with NO connection to him. Have made all the updates to latest version Iphoto promelem remains.
Re iphoto, back up first then rebuild the library as follows.

All Kinds of Problems with my MacBook Pro
I've got a MBP Core 2 Duo, running 10.4.8. Here's the problems
Okay, this all happened at once without me doing anything different than I do everyday. No changes, or maintenance programs run...just normal computing. Okay, so today I open iTunes and it says that the library is corrupt and forces me to reimport all of my music. Then, I open iPhoto and the same thing happened...library is gone. The files are still there, but I had to reimport them. Then, iWeb won't open at all...it just has one of those "Report to Apple" things that comes up. In Mail, all of my smart folders were still there, but my e-mails were all gone until it redownloaded them from the server. When I opened Skype I had to re-"Agree to terms" and retype in my username and password. Oh yeah, and all of my iCal calendars were gone.
So I got everything back up and running, reset my computer and the same thing happened again.
Does ANYBODY know what's going on? I'm about to move out of the country and don't want to deal with this stuff in an area with no Apple Support close by.Try this for starters. You may have a disk issue.
Boot from your system CD, run Disk First Aid from your Disk Utility and repair your permissions.

What do you want to know.....it's been going on for months and I can't seem to get it resolved. It's definitely a conflict with FF and why you can't resolve it, I have no idea. I've searched the net and these error messages are everywhere. Don't you think it's time you address this.
At this point I really don't care if I use FF any more. It's slowing everything down on my machine and if you don't have the experience to correct it, then back to IE I'll go.Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
