Image with link functions in Firefox, half of the image/link is active in Chrome, image/link dead in Safari
I have a page with 2 nav links originating from 2 different images. 1 image / link works well with Firefox, Chrome and Safari. The other image / link works well with firefox, only half of the image is active in Chrome and none of the image is active in safari. The documents links checkout fine. I have replaced the image, the container as well as relinked. The result is the same. Can someone help please? Enlarged images with built-in magnifier do not load properly as they did in F3, chrome etc.
www.mohlitz.com uses thumbnails which click to give enlarged image with built-in magnifier. Works ok with all other browsers inc F3 but now when pointer hovers over image it goes white instead of showing magnifier F4

Resizing text and images with actions and keeping it resized for the next slides, how to?

I searched over the net and in this support section for a solution to my problem, but i didnt find any, so...here I am asking you experts.
Through a particular use of different actions I make a logo "compose" in the first slide of my presentation (the logo is composed by text and images that interact), then in the second slide i make it resize so it goes 50% of its size and moves down like a TV logo, in the corner of the slide, and I want it to stay there for all the lenght of the presentation.
It might be a stupid problem, but I didnt understand how to keep it there, 50% of its size and always in that position. If i duplicate the slide I obviously duplicate the 100%-size-logo, not its 50%-size-version, and if i shrink it in order to make it be 50% of its size the text size doesnt shrink so i have to change the text size manually, but the visual effect is imperfect.
Lets summarize:
slide 1: text appears, image appears, the text and the image move and "compose" the logo
slide 2: the complete logo reduces its size to 50% and moves in the lower corner of the presentation, in the place I want it to be for, lets say, 20 slides
slide 3: i want to have this logo already reduced in size and in its position, in the right lower corner, but if i try to group the different parts of the composed logo and i try to squeeze them the font doesnt change its size, I only squeeze the area that the text occupies.
Some help please guys?

The “maintain proportions of window for different monitor
resolutions” property will maintain the proportional size of the front panel
(its x and y sizes) when opened in a different resolution. The front panel
objects will not be resized and will appear larger (and may not fit inside the
front panel) when saved in a higher resolution, and moved to a lower
resolution. You can use the “Keep window proportions” property to achieve the
same results.
To have both the front panel dimensions and front panel
controls scale, you need to have both the above property and the “scale all
objects on front panel as the window resizes” selected. The labels will not be
resized by this.
I tried using both properties on two monitors and noticed
that the change does not occur when the resolutions between the monitors are
different. I had to lower both monitors’ resolution to see the change work
properly.

My application having import image for use in Photo Album so when we import file in Adobe AIR application
we had code for create three folder 1) Low Resolution - This folder image used in Thumbnail view(imaze size 300 X 150)
2) Mid Resolution - This folder image used in slideshow and it's image size is 1000 X 600
3)High Resolution - This folder image used in report generation and its image size is original as user import from original source.
My main issue is make only one folder which having best quality image ,without pixalated when we used in big container which having 1200 X1200 size and showing image with best quality and also it will not big size so if user import 500 hunderd images which cannot degrade performance of application.

"send link" function - how do I change the email address used
When I use the "send link" function whilst using Safari on my iPad IOS 7.1.2, it now sends it from a secondary email address I have added in Mail.
This is not my main email address (and the one I have set as my default), which is the one it has always used until recently.
How do I change it back to my default please?The email address you want to use must be on your card in Address Book. Where there are multiple addresses on your card you can change between them in an iCal alarm by clicking the arrow to the right of the current address.

Thanks very much for that. it worked on my powerbook(running Tiger). I went to the link and followed the instructions and it worked. Did i mention that my dad who has a iMac running Leopard now has the same problem. I thought i would just do the same but the Preference in Mail for Leopard is of course different. There is no icon called "Server Settings" under Accounts section like there is on mine. Do you have a link for the same kind of instructions for Leopard?

An adobe acrobat image with a callout saved as a jpeg the callout is not always saved the jpeg?
About half the time the callout is not saved with the jpeg. Anyone have any ideas? I was using Acrobat 8 and tech support suggested I download the Acrobat 9 trial but I have the same problem? Help!

I think my Word 2013 might have a bug. When i enter text into either the 'title' field or the 'description' field, the text does not move over or wrap around so that i can fully see what i've entered. i wonder if this is impacting the carry-over into the pdf file?
the company I work for does not 'officially' support this version of Word, as i am an 'early adoptor' of this version. until the rest of the company moves to this version, i'm kinda on my own. i am going to see who i can speak with to see about getting an update, though. maybe that will fix the problem.

</html></nowiki></pre>In general theory, one now has the Edit button for their posts, until someone/anyone Replies to it. I've had Edit available for weeks, as opposed to the old forum's ~ 30 mins.
That, however, is in theory. I've posted, and immediately seen something that needed editing, only to find NO Replies, yet the Edit button is no longer available, only seconds later. Still, in that same thread, I'd have the Edit button from older posts, to which there had also been no Replies even after several days/weeks. Found one that had to be over a month old, and Edit was still there.
Do not know the why/how of this behavior. At first, I thought that maybe there WAS a Reply, that "ate" my Edit button, but had not Refreshed on my screen. Refresh still showed no Replies, just no Edit either. In those cases, I just Reply and mention the [Edit].
Also, it seems that the buttons get very scrambled at times, and Refresh does not always clear that up. I end up clicking where I "think" the right button should be and hope for the best. Seems that when the buttons do bunch up they can appear at random around the page, often three atop one another, and maybe one way the heck out in left-field.
While I'm on a role, it would be nice to be able to switch between Flattened and Threaded Views on the fly. Each has a use, and having to go to Options and then come back down to the thread is a very slow process. Jive is probably incapable of this, but I can dream.

I had many tabs opened in my Firefox browser and usually I can close the browser and reopen it, and the tabs are still there.
After restarting my computer, I went to Firefox and it started with a new session, without the option to restore the previous session.
I have a feeling that there is a way to restore these tabs, but in the case that it is not, then I'll just have to accept that.
I was thinking maybe a backup file of the tabs, like how the bookmarks can be backed up.
The tabs were important, so I just wanted to use this as the last resort to see if they can be restored in some way, shape or form.
This is the first time that I'm using this, so I'm hoping that someone can help me with this issue, as I'm sure that I am not the only one that has ever experienced this problem.You can make a backup copy of the file sessionstore.js in the profile folder.

Images with same name in different folders being swapped
I've been out at a printers freelancing and using CS6 for the first time. I've a 64 page document with a large number of images (100+) that have been given various treatments and held in folders named to identify them.
originals: sweden.jpg, germany.jpg, india.jpg…etc
saturated: sweden.jpg, germany.jpg, india.jpg…etc
greyscale: sweden.jpg, germany.jpg, india.jpg…etc
and so on. The document contains differnt combinations of these pictures, all in all I've about 1,000 image links in the document.
I opened up my document this morning and found for some reason the links to the images were broken - no idea why as no folders seem to have been moved but when I relinked to one of them - say a greyscale image - they ALL linked to the wrong set - the "saturated" ones. Looking at the image path in the links panel I see that's what's happened, ALL the link paths to ALL the images say "saturated", never mind the fact they're greyscale in the document.
So is this a known issue? At the moment I can't find any solution but to relink manually over a thousand images, which, lets face it, is a bit of a disaster for me and the job deadline.
I've used indesign for years and never come across anything even CLOSE to this sort of behaviour.InDesign has a feature that will automatically search for other missing links when you fix a missing link. When you relinked the first of your grayscale images, you may have accidentally relinked to the saturated image. When this happened it searched the directory that the newly re-linked file was in for all the other missing files. Since your image names all matched up to images in that directory, they all got re-linked.
This auto-relink feature can be toggled in the relink dialog:
If you have a backup of your file, you can revert to that version, and try to relink your images from that one. In the future you should make sure that images all have unique identifiers, it is bad practice to have images with identical names. -
Iphoto exporting images with no name and mail with no reply info
One of our Macbook pros, running osx 10.8.5, is sending email via iphoto that ,
#1) creates a photo with NO NAME that cannot be saved no matter what you do,
and
#2) the email can not be forwarded, seems like because there is not "reply to" information.
the Prefs are filled out correctly in the iPhoto email settings.
Why did they configure iphoto to do the "send" FROM iphoto in this OSX version? This worked fine before as it would open up your mail whereby you could arrange and double check things.
So i was trying to do a work around by sending the email to myself but the email and the attachment can not be forwarded. As well the image CAN NOT be dragged to the desktop to be saved. USELESS!
