Implement pricing conditions GAU1 and GAU2

Dear All,
I want to implement pricing procedure for precious metals.
Anyone who has implemeneted the procedure at their end please guide me towards the same .
In PO I am getting following error in condition type GAU1 Inactive status as "X" and message as " Inactive via formulae of incorrect "
Please help
Thanks
Garima

Actually i haven't worked on metal prices...but once i had faced same type of error in my freight condition types...SAP responded with some solutions which i am posting...please see whether these are useful or not:
(1) Condition row is inactive
The condition type (group condition or item condition) is listed with or without a pricing result in the condition row on the condition screen for the subitem. However, the condition value is ignored. On the condition details screen (double-click on the condition row), an indicator is set for 'Inactive'.
(1.1) Inactive indicator 'A  condition exclusion item'
You have selected an exclusion procedure at subitem level for your freight cost price determination schema. The condition type with inactive status 'A' was excluded using this procedure in favor of another condition type (set as inactive).
Check: In favor of which condition type or condition exclusion group was the condition type in question excluded?
=> Use Customizing transaction T_32 to determine the condition exclusion group to which the relevant condition type was assigned and use Customizing transaction TOK8 to determine the exclusion procedure assigned to the price determination schema.
(1.2) 'K - Inactive due to calculation basis/shipping material type'
An automatically determined or manually created condition type is set as inactive (inactive indicator 'K'), even though a valid condition record was found according to the analysis.
Check 1: Do all handling units in the subitems belong to a 'material group for packaging materials' that is assigned to this particular packaging material type in Customizing? The calculation base of the condition type refers to handling units (calculation bases C, E or F) and, in Customizing (transaction T_06), a packaging material type (synonym: shipping material type field T685A-VHART) was specified for the condition type?
=> Material numbers are assigned to 'material groups for packaging materials' in the material master (transaction MM02). 'Material groups for packaging materials' are assigned to packaging material types in Customizing: Transaction VHZU or IMG -> Logistics General -> Handling Unit Management -> Basics -> Define Allowed Packaging Materials
Check 2: Was a valid condition record for this condition type found in all subitems for the calculation base used?
=> Extend the condition pricing data (transaction TK11) so that valid condition records can be found for all subitems. If necessary, use a price 0.
Check 3: Was the condition type only created manually for individual subitems?
=> Usually, manual conditions must be created for the calculation base in all subitems, with the value 0 if necessary. If changes were also permitted at header level for an item condition (in Customizing transaction T_06), you can automatically create identical entries in all subitems of the calculation base by creating the condition at header level. You can then adjust these templates (with the value 0 if required) at subitem level.
Notes: For background information and options for 'Inactive K', see also note 318775. For the system response in the case of manual changes to freight conditions, see consulting note 773038.
(1.3) Inactive 'L - Condition exclusion header or inactive at header level'
The condition type could not be evaluated as a group condition or was excluded as part of a header exclusion because of another condition type.
Check 1: Could the condition group be evaluated at all?
=> On the condition screen of the header conditions (enter '=kkon' in the command field), check whether different subgroups have been created for the condition type. If this is the case, several condition rows will be displayed for the same condition type. Also check the Check the scale input values in the individual condition display (double-click on the condition row).
Since neither the price determination analysis nor the condition record display is available at header level, you must check the price table for the condition type using a subitem: Is there also a valid scale level for each scale input value? The lowest scale level is often missing in from-scales and the highest conceivable scale level is often missing in to-scales. For example, a to-scale of 'to 30 TO' cannot evaluate any shipments with 31 tons. You therefore need to extend this scale to 'to 99999 TO'.
Check 2: Did you select an exclusion procedure for your freight cost price determination schema at header level?
=> Use Customizing transaction TOK8 to check whether the indicator 'A - header exclusion' was entered in the relevant column for the exclusion procedure that is assigned to the price determination schema. If this is the case, the group condition inactive status 'L' may have been excluded in favor of another group condition type using this exclusion (set as inactive).
Use Customizing transaction T_32 to determine the condition exclusion group to which the condition type in question was assigned and use Customizing transaction TOK8 to determine the condition type or condition exclusion group in favor of which the group condition type in question could have been excluded.
Check 3: Are you using your own scale or condition formula for a multi-dimensional group condition?
=> You may try to analyze the import parameter KOMK or KOMP for a group condition in this formula. However, these parameters are not filled in group processing: '...The components komk and komp are initial during processing of group conditions...' ('i - Formulas' button on the 'Scales for Conditions' detailed screen in Customizing transaction T_06).
The inactive indicator KINAK is set by default to 'T' for group processing (inactive at header level) and is converted to the more general 'L' by the subsequent price determination.
(1.4) 'X - Inactive via formulae or incorrect'
If an error occurs during processing of multi-dimensional conditions (for example, during conversion to scale units or in a customer-specific formulas for scale bases), the condition is usually set to inactive status 'X'.
Check: Are all formulas used in connection with this condition (condition base formula, scale base formula, condition value formula) error-free?
(1.5) 'Y - Inactive because of subsequent price'
According to the price determination logic in SD, there can only ever be one valid price in a pricing procedure. All other conditions are surcharges or discounts in some shape or form. Accordingly, the last, valid pricing condition (valid condition record and not equal to zero) always applies. All pricing conditions in the schema with a lower level number are set to inactive status 'Y  inactive because of subsequent price'.
Check: If the required pricing condition was unintentionally set to inactive status 'Y' by a subsequent pricing condition, you must decide (using an exclusion procedure, if required) which of the pricing conditions is varied. All pricing conditions with inactive indicator 'Y' are included in the exclusion procedure.

  • Pricing conditions EK01 and PR00 in pricing procedure

    Hi Gurus,
We have a process in which a SD billing request is generated by using DIP profile (DP90). Pricing condition used in the pricing procedure for the sales document is EK01 (which brings the actual cost of the service order that creates the Billing request through DP90) but it happens sometimes that EK01 is not desired but instead PR00 ( another price agreed with a certain client instead of the actual cost in the order).
In order to match this need, best would be to combine both conditions (EK01 and PR00) in the same pricing procedure, and as a general rule, EK01 will apply in the billing request price, but in case PR00 condition exists, then this one will prevail and EK01 will be in the price conditions but will not be taken into account in the price calculation--> how can this be done in the pricing procedure?
Another possibility would be using different pricing procedures so that one has EK01 as pricing condition and  the other one has PR00. The pricing procedure will be assigned by using document pricing procedure assigned to a different document type but this is not the desired solution as it makes much more tricky the design: another dynamic item profile would be needed so that proper document type is assigned.
Thanks for your great help in advanced!
    VL

    Hi Victor,
You can put both of the conditions in the same pricing procedure and use the exclusion group to compare the conditions and choose the favourable as per you requirement.
I hope this will certainly help you in solving your problwm.

  • Pricing condition type and the procedure it belongs to

    Hello Experts,
Pricing is found in basic function in spro.
Under this we maintain the condition types.
But how does the SAP system know for which pricing procedure a condition type belongs?
Is a condition type uniquely usable by 1 pricing procedure only?
Am i right to say the pricing procedure is set in the condition type properties screen?
    Have a nice day.
    regards
    Tom

But how does the SAP system know for which pricing
         procedure a condition type belongs?
System recognizes a condition type for which pricing procedure it belongs to, based on the document pricing procedure assignment you set in OVKK.
Is a condition type uniquely usable by 1 pricing procedure only?
No as long as the data maintained in V/06 is same, you can assign to en number of pricing procedures.  For example, you cannot have a different data maintained under the tab "Control data 1" in V/06 for one scenario and another value for another scenario.

  • Pricing condition table and condition type question

    hi guys,
We can use same condition table in pricing for multiple condition types.I am wondering how system knows which condition records should be applicable for which condition type in the same table.
I know the structure KOMV has those details, but thats used during the run time.
Do we have database table which preserve this relation /link ? Please help.
I also would like to know the  tables / fields /structures  which can be used at run time for defining requirements in pricing procedures.
    Thanks
    Dona

    Hi,
Condition types are assigned with access sequences.
These are the determining sequences in order to select which condition table is to be selected for that particular scenario.
Generally the access sequences are tested to the condition records on their priority basis.
    pricing procedure
    condition type
    access sequence
    condition table
    selection records.
hope this would help you understand the concept.

    Siddharth.

  • Pricing condition in sales order-issue

    Experts,
i am facing a very strange issue, functional consultant
did some configuration ,such that when header of
sales order have condition type ,let say some 'ZXX',
this pricing conditon should be applicable to all
the schedule line with pricing condition as 'ZXX' where material in schedule line is let say 'ZPP',that mean
these should only be applicable for material type
'ZPP',we are facing strange issue , when scheule line no
10 is having material 'ZPP' ,then pricing conditon is
working fine('ZXX'),but if scheule line no 10 is having
material other than 'ZPP' and if scheule line no 20
is having material 'ZPP' ,then for scheule line no 20
pricing condition is not getting copied from header

    goto  tcode - <b>vk13</b>
note that [A]--sequence for plant /material
note that <b>--sequence for plant /material/cafgroup
enter ur pricing condition type and
for the <b>plant/material</b> combination etc.. [A]-
may be in the access sequence ur consultant ave given it to a new sequence say <b>plant/material/caf group</b> .. --<b>
    like this
suppose say item 10 is for option [A] so access sequence is for this only ..cause material is now in plant/material
now say item 20 is for option <b> so
material at line item 2 will fall under this sequence ..
cumulatively u need to get the total ..
now if the material is same in line 10 20 , u will have to fetch the values from both the tables in sequence and not one table will store the values ..
cause sequence pass for the material is now [A] and <b>
rememebr that per classification the values are stored in diff table like a906 ,, a90*..
in order to fetch that  u need to get it from the tables of classification
    and then cumulate it ..
    this is important ..

  • Creation of Customized field for  Pricing Condition tables

    Hi Friends
I have a requirement to create a  Pricing condition table with Customized field starts with 'Z'  and
Field length should be more than 80.
After creating New Customized Field, system  is not allowing to create Pricing Condition table and giving error 'Too Many fields selected (larger than 100 bytes)'.
Could you please advice how to over come this error and Maximum field to create Pricing  condition table .
    Thanks

    Hi there,
Table & table attributes are defined by the ABAPers. Not by finctional consultants.
You need to have an access key to define new tables & access sequence.
Check with your ABAPer. He will be able to help you with that.

  • Change/Delete Existing Pricing Condition Type

    Hello
I have a manu Pricing Condition Type and a rate(obtained from custom source) was inserted pro-grammatically into this line item whenever the new line item was added into the basket using CRM_ISA_BASKET_ITEMS badi.

Question: How to change/delete existing Condition Rate ?

  • Modification of Pricing Condition in CRM

    Hi,
I am tring to change the value of the Pricing condition based on the condition type. I have tried with CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN and PRC_PD* FM. But i could not.
Kindly update me if you know any FM can help me.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
I am explaining my problem little more.
I have to change the Pricing condition amount in the contract. I have called the FM CRM_ORDER_READ for getting the current pricing conditions record and using FM PRC_PD_ITEM_INPUT change the amount of pricing condition for ex: PR00.
I have checked the pricing condition amount using CRM_PRIDOC_READ_OW FM and I got the same value which i have changed. So It got changed the IPC as well as buffer also.
But After calling the FM CRM_ORDER_SAVE the condition record amount is not saved/replicated in the contract.
Kindly suggest me. If i missed anything.

  • Replication of Pricing Conditions between ECC and CRM

    Hi All
I have a couple of queries regarding replication of pricing information between ECC_CRM. We maintain the filter settings for Pricing procedures, access sequences and condition types in the object DNL_CUST_CND_PR, and accordingly these are replicated from ECC to CRM. My Questions:
    1. If some pricing procedure is created in CRM and this needs to be replicated to ECC, Can we achieve this?
    2. Would DELTA be active on these objects, in the sense if some changes are made to a pricing procedure in ECC, would they flow automatically to CRM?
    Thanks in advance
    Best Regards,
    Ram Sushanth

    Hi Chandra and Swaroop
Thanks a lot for your response.
From your replies, now, this is my understanding (Pl correct me if am wrong)
    1. Replication of Pricing Procedure from CRM to ECC is possible.
It would be of great help if you could elaborate on the procedure to do so or provide pointers for documentation in this regard.
Because, for replication from ECC to CRM, we perform an initial load on the object DNL_CND_CUST_PR or DNL_CUST_CNDALL.What is the object that we need to execute from replication from CRM to ECC?
    2. DELTA would be active only on condition records, but not on Condition types and Pricing Procedures and if any pricing procedure is changed in ECC, we would need to perform Initial Load again.
    Thanks in advance
    Best Regards

  • Pricing Conditions and how the pricing date is determined

    Hi all,
Small question, i ahve some pricing conditions that use the Serives Rendered date and others that use the Pricing Date from an order, how is the condition decided on what date it uses?
Hope i have expplained this ok, if not and you need more info let me know.
    Regards
    Steve

    Hi
There is a difference between Service Rendered Data and Pricing Date.
Normally Freight Conditions are maintained on Service Rendered Date so the freight will be picked on the basis of date on which the Actual Delivery done, whereas Pricing date is used for other conditions so that price will be based on the date on which the document created and the Pricing Date maintained in that.
In the same way there is a Billing Date which came in Invoice so price will be based on the date of Invoicing.
If you maintain the record in VK11 and test a cycle you will be able to find the difference easily.
    Regards
    Amitesh

  • How can I have the pricing conditions at the item and header level of the d

How can I have the pricing conditions at the item and header level of the delivery? There exist "condition" tabs both the header and the item level of the delivery but the contents of the tabs are empty. I'll be happy if you can help me. Thanks in advance....

    Hi
If you want to have the pricing procedure at delivery level then you need to assign a pricing procedure at delivery level also
Just go through the path to maintain the pricing procedure at delivery level.
IMG -> Logistics execution -> Shipping -> Basic Shipping Functions -> Pricing -> Pricing Procedure. for Delivery.
But can you be more clear if the above one is not your query ?
