Import Accounts

Hi Guys,
I'm trying to import some new accounts. I've mapped a few fields, specifically, account name and location, plus a few more.
However i'm getting the following error:
"Value '%1' for import field '%2' was an invalid format for the %3 field '%4'. The correct format is '%5'. This value was not imported, but other field values were imported for this record."
"An unexpected error occurred during the import of the following row: 'Account Name: Grupo Santander; Country: Spain'"
Any ideas?
Thanks
Minesh

Hi Guys,
Thanks for your suggestions.
After several hours we've found the fault.....The staging area is 'pants'.
The import works in production but not staging.
Regards
Minesh

    Hi mp,
If you updated to OS X Mavericks, there may have been an automatic update to Numbers 3. Numbers 3 will be in your Applications folder. Numbers '09 has not been replaced. Look for Numbers '09 (Numbers 2.3) in a folder called iWork '09 inside your Applications folder. You can run both versions of Numbers at the same time.
I have icons for both versions on my Dock. Drag each to the Dock from Applications folder and Applications > iWork '09 folder. Right click on each and Options > Keep in Dock. Now you have the choice of which to use.
Numbers 2 (3 column chart) on the left. Numbers 3 (4 column chart) on the right.
If a document won't open, try opening from within each version. Or right click on the document and Open With...
You can Export a Numbers 3 document back to Numbers '09 with Menu > Export > Numbers '09...
Post back if you have problems.
    Regards,
    Ian.

    Hi Gopala,
First thing to test is to create a shopping cart from sapgui.
logon with the same user and try to create a shopping cart.
Check here that UOM, vendor..are available in the drop down list.
If you dropdown list are available then you can conclude that it is an ITS issue.
If dropdown list not available, i guess it is more an installation issue (basis team).
Once you made the test, please tell us the result so we can go on.
    Kind regards,
    Yann

  • Import Accounts from AD to OD

    Hello All,
How can I import accounts from the AD into the OD? I have my directories set up and working fine. My server is an OD master connected to an AD domain, and I can see all of the AD accounts in the Workgroup Manager.
How can I now import those AD accounts into my OD? I was able to do it before with the simple "Server Preferences" setup, but now that I went with the "Advanced" setup I can't figure out how to get those accounts to show up in the OD...
I tried putting all the AD accounts into a group I created in the OD, but I still can't use any of those accounts to access a shared folder over AFP. Doesn't matter if I configure the Sharepoint to use the group, or if I put the AD accounts directly into the ACL.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Chris

    Update:
I've been going through the Apple integration guides and also the guides available at afp548.com, but they all talk about doing all this complicated crap like moving the user profiles. I'm not interested in any of that -- what I want to do is very simple.
I just want to give my AD accounts access to the Mac services (Wiki and iCal). I don't care about user profiles or anything like that.
Can anyone help me to simply give my AD users access to iCal and Wiki?
    Thanks,
    Chris

  • Unable to import Accounts in OIA

    Hi All,
I'm not sure if this is the right forum for an OIA issue, but here goes:
I am currently trying to run an import of accounts through OIA 11.1.5.4A.
My schema file is set up like this:
    # @iam:namespace name="caseone" shortName="caseone"
    EmployeeID,UserID,name<CorrelationKey>,LastName,SAPID,Role,domain,endPoint
    and my caseone_01_accounts.csv file is:
    3181,"USZLJPL","Allison","Samin","NULL","Attorney","one","two"
    3180,"USZLJPD","Marissa","Arowe","NULL","Staff","one","two"
    3179,"USZMVJ9","Melissa","Joaquin","NULL","Paralegal","one","two"
When I run the import, the results page displays: Success 0 of 3 accounts imported.
    The log details:
DUPLICATE RECORD     Duplicate account 'null@RBACx@caseone' found during import, applying duplicate action 'keepLast'
CORRELATION ERROR     No user found for account 'null@RBACx@caseone' [UserName=Melissa]
My resources are configured in the order specified by the .rbx schema file. What is causing the duplication error?

I am going to try again after adding an endPointName field and will let you know the results, but I'm confused as to why it would be asking for endPointName when that is not required according to the documentation.
    Thanks.

  • Personal file sharing: file copying broken from/to imported account?

I have an iMac G5 with two user accounts A and B ; and a MacBook Pro with two user accounts A' (imported from A with the migration assistant) and C.
Personal file sharing, FTP and SMB are enabled on both machines. The firewall is disabled. Permissions, as well as the Keychain have been repaired.
When I am logged as A' on the MBP, and when I connect to the iMac with the username/password of A, I can't copy files from A' to A : I get the following error message [The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient privileges for some of the items]. However, a 0-byte file is created on A'. The same problem occurs from A to A'.
This problem drives me crazy because :
    - I can read and delete any file in A' from A (and vice-versa). Only copy and modification doesn't work.
    - I can copy files from A to C, A' to B, C to A, B to A'.
    - FTP sharing between A and A' does work.
Someone got the problem solved by re-creating his account and re-importing all his data, but I absolutely want to avoid that. I'm sure there can be a simpler solution...
It appeared to me that the only reason why AFP copy doesn't work between A and A' is that A' was imported from A. It seems also that a common broken preference/setting is not the source of the problem, since sharing works from/to any other account (and well, re-creating the account couldn't solve the problem as it would re-set the broken settings).
I would like to know which information is used to determine user privileges when copying from one machine to another...
A strange thing I noticed is that both A and A' have the same generateduid (which is thus not "unique") - could it be the source of the problem?
If you have two machines with one account imported from one machine to another, can you check whether Personal file sharing with this account works? I love understanding why stuff doesn't work.
    Thanks!

Here are the results of a few more experiments... Something is definitely broken with those two user accounts, but I'd like to know why, and how it got broken
I have replaced the names of the accounts/machines by more meaningful identifiers.
From the MBP, trying to access Account_B on the iMac:
    MBP:~ account_A'$ mkdir test
    MBP:~ account_A'$ mount -t afp afp://accountB:*****@iMac/accountB test
mount_afp: the mount flags are 0000 the altflags are 0020
    MBP:~ account_A'$ ls -l test
    total 0
    drwx------ 29 account_A' account_A' 942 Nov 8 22:28 Desktop
    drwx------ 14 account_A' account_A' 432 Sep 24 23:47 Documents
(And I can copy whatever I want in test)
    Now trying to access Account_A:
    MBP:~ account_A'$ mkdir test
    MBP:~ account_A'$ mount -t afp afp://accountA:*****@iMac/accountA test
mount_afp: the mount flags are 0000 the altflags are 0020
    MBP:~ account_A'$ ls -l test
    total 0
    drwxr-xr-x 23 501 501 738 Aug 26 00:03 Code
    drwx------ 13 501 501 398 Nov 8 13:10 Desktop
(I can't copy to test here)
501 is the uid of account_A (on the iMac). (The uid of account_A' is 503).
    Same stuff through SMB:
    MBP:~ account_A'$ mkdir test
    MBP:~ account_A'$ mount -t smbfs //accountA@iMac/accountA test
    Password:
    MBP:~ account_A'$ ls -l test
    total 0
    drwxr-xr-x 1 account_A' account_A' 16384 Aug 26 01:03 Code
    drwxr-xr-x 1 account_A' account_A' 16384 Nov 8 13:10 Desktop
    (In this case, it works)

  • How to import Account settings to TB?

In the process of migrating from XP to Win 8, I have rediscovered a very old (ex dial up, payg) mailbox account which I want to start using again but have forgotten the password. The account is already set up in Outlook backup files and has the (encrypted) password.
The ISP (TalkTalk) cannot help with the password because it is an old dialup account with Tiscali and they do not have the records.
TB is already set up and configured for the current mail accounts.
Is there a way to import the .iaf into TB to add to the existing account?
If I set up a new (empty) profile and managed to import the settings from Outlook, can the profiles be merged?
Can Account settings be exported from TB for importing to the new profile?
    Thanks in advance

Thunderbird doesn't recognize .iaf files to my knowledge.
Assuming you're using Outlook Express you can use the following link to import your data from OE
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/Import_from_Outlook_Express
If that doesn't work, then I'm afraid you can't transfer your settings over.
I would probably let someone else answer, who knows more about Thunderbird than I do.

    Hi Sookshma,
Slashes are always causing issues and do not work with a replace command. Instead you can use the split command.
    Example:
    js:%external%.toString().split('/').join('_')
You can also combine the javascript further if e.g. you wanted in addition to replace '-' with '_' you can use replace and combine the two statement:
    js:%external%.toString().replace(/-/g,'_').split('/').join('')

    Lars

  • Why does importing accounts fail in OS X Server?

I have installed OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.4 and Server 2.2.1 and tried to import user accounts again and again, but it always fails. The only thing that the console log says is "Date Time - Number of Args = X" and it says no more.
I'm trying to work through the Peachpit Press exercises and, according to their example, there should be seven accounts imported in the first exercise of the chapter and the log files should look something like this:
    2012-10-16 10:20:45 CDT - Number of Args = 17
    2012-10-16 10:20:45 CDT - ======= Tool Parser Arguments ======
    2012-10-16 10:20:45 CDT - File path = /Users/ladmin/Documents/StudentMaterials/Lesson08/employees-tabdelimited.txt
    2012-10-16 10:20:45 CDT - OD Node Path = /Local/Default
    2012-10-16 10:20:45 CDT - Username = Local Admin
2012-10-16 10:20:45 CDT - User password was supplied
    2012-10-16 10:20:45 CDT - Duplicate handlin option = I
    2012-10-16 10:20:45 CDT - Remote net
    ... etc.
I've formatted the volume and installed OS X fresh several times. I would think this is something that should work and that many administrators would need. Anyone out there able to successfully import user accounts to OS X Mountain Lion? Or is everyone typing in accounts one by one? Any ideas? I'm relatively new to Mac, so feel free to give me the obvious (to you) troubleshooting tips and lay things out in über simple terms.
Thanks in advance for any help.

So I see from your screen shot that you are only defining 7 attributes. I've never been able to do this with anything less than 8.  Also, your format declarative statement contains 0x09 in the third place.  I've always used 0x3A to define the formating and this has always worked.  Here is a sample using 8 attributes: Record name (shortname), unique ID (this is NOT GUID), primary group ID, Real Name, home directory path (needed from mobile account), shell (needed for ftp access), first name, and last name.
Also, this file format is very sensitive to line breaks.  Make sure that your file has Unix breaks.  If I recall Mac line breaks will cause issues.
The file declaration must all be on the first line with no return characters.  After the format string (0x0A 0x5C 0x3A 0x2C), you define the record type (dsRecTypeStandard:Users or dsRecTypeStandard:Groups), then the number of records.  In this case 8.  If you add more attributes, remember to increase this number to match the number of attributes.
    0x0A 0x5C 0x3A 0x2C dsRecTypeStandard:Users 8 dsAttrTypeStandard:RecordName dsAttrTypeStandard:UniqueID dsAttrTypeStandard:PrimaryGroupID dsAttrTypeStandard:RealName dsAttrTypeStandard:NFSHomeDirectory dsAttrTypeStandard:UserShell dsAttrTypeStandard:FirstName dsAttrTypeStandard:LastName
    jdoe:1030:20:John Doe:/Users/jdoe:/bin/bash:John:Doe
    msmith:1031:20:Mary Smith:/Users/msmith:/bin/bash:Mary:Smith
Hope this helps you sort this out.

  • Cannot import accounts from Mail 2.1.2 to Mail 3.1

My goal is to get my email accounts including 'Sent' mail to show up in Mail 3.0.
I got a Macbook Pro (running Leopard) to replace my old Powerbook G4 (running 10.4.11). I am trying to import my accounts but am having no luck.
    _Here's what I did:_
    1. I imported the mailboxes from my old Mac. This worked fine.
    2. I copied the accounts folders from ~Library/Mail on the old Mac to the same place on the new Mac
    3. I copied com.apple.mail.plist file from Preferences on the old Mac to the same location on the new Mac.
    The Result:
The imported email accounts do NOT show up when I open Mail.
Like many other people that post here, my archive of sent email is among the most valuable (to me) information on my machine.
    Thanks for your help.

ok, when you open mail>preferencs>accounts, I assume your email accounts are showing up, with correct setting?
go to mail>file>import mailboxes, then choose the osx version, then point leopard mail to the path/location where you moved the mailboxes from your powerbook, i.e. homefolder/library/mail, in that mail folder, you will see folders for each of your email accounts, and in these folders you will see the mailboxes for each account, that is where you want to point to.
then import... leopard mail will create an import mailbox where the emails imported will show. once that is done, then you can create new mailboxes if you choose and move these emails there, thereby not needing the import mailbox anymore.
    hope this helps

  • Mountain lion Server import accounts & mobile home folder

    Hello,
I am new to OS X Server and I have two questions.
    First here is the situation.
We are a small company with 10ish mac (Mini, iMac & MBP) running.
So far we had the client account on the machines.
I want them to be server hosted from now. I have a dedicated Mini 2012 for such a use. Everything Gigabit connected.
    So here are my questions:
    1. How can I Import the acconuts from the different machine including home folder to the server?
    2. For some users, on specific machines i would like to creat mobile home folders.
    Is this possible?
I created Mobile home folder and it works flawlessly but anytime a user login it creates a mobile folder.
I would like to specify on which machine the account is mobile. On the other machine i want it to be server based.
Thank you in advance for your Help.

  • Importing Accounts in OIA through flatfile

    Hi Experts,
I have configured OIA provisioning server for a flat file feed.
I have accounts to be imported in a csv file in the below format.
    responsbility,reponsbilitystatdate,responsbilityenddate are multivalued attributes
    schemafile
    name<correlationKey>,responsbility,reponsbilitystatdate,responsbilityenddate,domain,endpoint
    data:
    testuser1,xyzrespons,01/10/2010,01/12/2016,sun,ebs
    testuser1,abcrespons,01/10/2010,01/12/2016,sun,ebs
whenever I run this import, xyzrespons is overwritten with abcresponse, is there a way I can import the values with some changes in the OIA Configurations?
I dont want to group the responsbilities, start dates and end dates using the delimiter.
    Please help out guys. Thanks!

    Hello,
The functionality is working as expected. The mapping field specified in the schema file is "name" and as the records have same values for the field "name" - It definitely tries to update the first record in the feed. This cannot be stopped as you do not want to map the fields other than "name".

  • Essbase import - Accounts Hierarchy missing

    Hi all,
well I have a weird one: I'm importing Essbase 9.3.1. cubes into 10.1.3.3.2. and 10.1.3.4. and can't get the "Accounts" hierarchy to be represented correctly in the physical layer.
Normally, Essbase dimensions of type "Accounts" are to be represented as hierarchy objects in OBI EE upon import. I looked at Oracles demo DB (Oracle2go) plus Marks example ([http://www.oracle.com/technology/pub/articles/rittman-essbase.html]) and Venkat ([http://oraclebizint.wordpress.com/2008/05/12/oracle-bi-ee-1013332-hyperion-essbase-connectivity-handling-measures-and-account-dimension/], [http://oraclebizint.wordpress.com/2008/05/08/hyperion-data-integration-management-931-loading-data-into-essbase-cubes-using-type1]) state the same.
What happens here is, that all the measures arrive flat after the import and I end up with my dimensions and hundreds of measures as physical columns.
As mentioned, I tried both 10.1.3.3.2. and 10.1.3.4. for the imports. Plus, I imported several different cubes, all containing Accounts dimensions. Everytime with the same results.
Anyone has got any thoughts on that?
    Thanks in advance and cheers,
    Christian

Did you ever manage to solve this problem? I'm on the verge of starting on a similar initiative and from the info I gathered, it seems that this is as easy as just changing the dimension type of the "Account" dimension to "Other" on the cube itself within the Administrator - and define one of your other dimensions as a "Measures" dimension. I did a quick test and it seems to do the trick - maybe I'm missing something.

  • Import Accounts: Block Microsoft accounts

I may maybe a dumb question , but i  want to import the security setting gpo for 8.1 into a forest level 2008r2.
I know there not admx file , but i sure there a way around faster then installer a server 2012r2  pdc
cause i have all the 8 and 8.1 template import running fine
    I miss like : computer configuration/windows setting /security setting /security option
    Accounts: Block Microsoft accounts
I did try to run a export out of a w8 box but did not work.
    any one have hint ?

    Hello,
create your own central store as mentioned in
http://blogs.technet.com/b/askpfeplat/archive/2011/12/12/how-to-implement-the-central-store-for-group-policy-admin-templates-completely-hint-remove-those-adm-files.aspx and then download and use
    http://www.microsoft.com/de-de/download/details.aspx?id=41193
Be aware that at least a Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012 R2 machine, NOT DC, with GPMC must be used to configure the settings. No way around this.
