Import database error

Hi,
I am with a problem during the importation of a table, is occurring the following error:
IMP-00017: following statement failed with ORACLE
ORA-00907: missing right parenthesis
and really I obtain see in dmp, does not exist parenthesis, which would be the reason of in the generation of export not having placing parenthesis in command(alter table simwpe modify campo_editado default 0), since the command was executed correctly in the data base.

Yes, the error message is exactly like that ("Database error: failured to persist version")
No photos will import at all. I use USB to import from iPhone 5s or iPad 2.
About the difference? iPhoto and Photos . Are there two softwares?
I also will like to merge and/or synchronize all my photos I had saved to iCloud backups, Macbook Pro, iPhone 5s and iPad hard drives using iPhoto. It's call iPhoto library. At one point I turned off streaming.

Please see below information and steps I followed
1. My PC running on Windows 7 64 bit
2. Installed Oracle Database Enterprise Edition 11.2.0.1.0 software
3. Created a listner after insalling above database software
4. Created data warehouse database and unlocked OWBSYS and OWBSYS_AUDIT accounts
5. Set ORACLE_HOME=C:\oracle\product\11.2.0\dbhome_2\
6. Set TNS_ADMIN=C:\oracle\product\11.2.0\dbhome_2\NETWORK\ADMIN
7. After doing this I was able to connect all the source and data warehouse databases I am concerned with.
7. Installed Oracle Warehouse Builder Client 11.2.0.3.0 64 bit
8. Created repository using repository assistant insatlled duing database software.
9. Created oracle database module for the schema created under data warehouse database.
10. Tried to import database objects for the oracle module and got the error explained above when clicked on Finish
Please someone reply to this thread since I searched lot on google and didn't get any solution and not understanding what this issue is.

it looks like not all objects are created for XX_BPEL_CREATEUSEMP
synonyms and all grants are there ?

Import Issue : "Database error: can't get path to master" when attempting to import photos (referenced method)

Hi Everyone,
I have a NAS (Network Attached Storage) which holds my photos. I want to import them into Apple photos (but via the reference method).
I did this by going to Preferences/General and unchecking the 'Importing: Copy items to the Photo library' option.
I connect to my NAS via AFP and have mount 'Media' which is where my photos are stored.
I select the file/import option, navigate to aforementioned photo location and select the "Review for import" button
I then receive an error which states:
Unreadable File
The following files could not be imported (they may be an unrecognized file type or the files may not contain valid data).
Filename Reason
Filename.jpg Database Error: can't get path to master
The above error happens on multiple file types.....
However ...
If I tick the option in the preferences/general to 'Importing : Copy items to photo library" option then the file will import successfully.
I of course don't want to import the files I want them to be referenced...
Anyone else experiencing this issue????

If this is a 3rd party application, I would seek out that company and ask for an updated version compatible with 2010, then it would be a matter of simply installing it per their instructions.
Otherwise, the best course of action is to deactivate the feature from WSSv3 prior to removal. If that is no longer possible, then use
FeatureAdmin to remove the feature from within 2010.

Will 'import database ... on error write to "error.txt";' exhaust all the errors?
Willpartial import be possible? i.e. 5 records out of 10 will be imported.

Hello,
all records that would be loaded into the cube (reminder for filter settings) and have an error will come into the error log.
The setting on how many records will be logged depend on your settings in the Essbase.cfg file.
If there are errors to the process (can not find the file) will not be in this file. For this, you need into the application log.

You should install again BI because yours ODBC drivers have been corrupted. But be sure the u install same version. Otherwise theprevious made repositories will not open. I follw this procedure. Thanks

PI 711 Installation: Loading of 'SAPNTAB' import package: error but no log

I'm perfromong an installation of a SAP PI 7.11 ystem on windoows Server 2003 and Oracle 10.2 .
I've perfromed the installation of the DEV system without particular issue.
But now when tryning to install the QAS system , I can't finish the installation : Im' stuck in the import ABAP step ...
It is impossible to import the 'SAPNTAB' package. I couln't find the reason.
I've tried updating the R3load binary, rebooting the server, restarting the instalaltion from scratch but it didn't help.

BO 4.0 - Database error: Unable to connect to SAP BW Incomplete logon data

Hello Experts,
I have enabled a 'SSO to database' between SAP BW and Business objects by referencing to the documents related to below link.

I have created a universe connection with option 'use single sign on when refreshing reports at view time' and have created a universe on top of my BEx query by log-in to the universe designer tools using my LDAP account.
Now when I run the report with either SAP account or LDAP - I am able to run a adhoc webi report on this universe and get data either through the webi rich client or via BO 4.0 Info-view/Launch Pad.
But the issue is that when other users are trying to run webi queries on this universe either through Info-view/launch pad or rich client by log-in via LDAP Authentication - they get the below error: I have given SAP_ALL to this user for time being and also have done the necessary configuration for 'simple user format' in CMC so these user has 1 account with 3 alias definitions: Enterprise, SAP, R/3.
Database error: Unable to connect to SAP BW server Incomplete logon data -
If the user logs on into the BO 4.0 Info-view/launch pad or webi rich client using his SAP authentication than he is able to run and retrieve data.
I also get a dump in the SAP BW system - I analyzed the dump in SAP BW using st22 tcode and it gives the error short text as - Incomplete logon data and run-time error - CALL_FUNCTION_SIGNON_INCOMPL
Desired outcome:
I want the users to log-in to webi rich client or BO 4.0 Launch pad/Info-view using their 'LDAP' authentication and run reports against the universe on SAP BW/BEx query without any errors or additional username/password requirements.
Can someone please tell me if I am missing any steps/configuration and guide me to achieve the above mentioned desired result ?

1. Generated the keystore file and imported it in BI 4.0 CMC on SAP Authentication Option tab

3. BW Roles/Users have been imported into CMC.
4. SAP Users and LDAP users are mapped/aliased with each other using the registry key method

I haven't explicitly configured STS (Security token service) as STS is a part of Adaptive processing server (APS) and I have verified that by going to servers in CMC and then to analysis services.
I have searched for SAP OSS notes related to my issue but couldn't find any note related to SAP BW SSO with Business objects 4.0. Most of the notes are relevant for BO XI 3.1 environments.

After I pressed the exit button the program is getting terminated but still this mail is comming to sost transaction code.

Hi out there. I am installing an ERP system ECC 6.0 SR3 with just the AS ABAP and ECC components. It is now on the ABAP import phase and returns the error that certain ABAP objects are failing out of the 112 objects that is processing. Current examples are : -

I wish to know how else can 1 work around this ABAP import phase with errors such as these? Is there a manual procedure I can perform for this phase during installations so to avoid these errors that come up. And then re-run the install that goes past this?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Try increasing your shared pool size
login to database level
sqlplus "/as sysdba"
>show parameter shared_pool_size;
if the value is some thing aroung 150 to 200 MB increase it to 250MB
>alter sytem set shared_pool_size=250M scope=both;

Import command error

i am trying to load a cube using import command
import database sample.basic data
from data_file '/hyperion/data/Rates.txt'
using rules_file '/hyperion/fte.rul'
on error write to '/hyperion/loaderr.log';
when i run this command i am getting an error..
OK/INFO - 1053012 - Object [94458075] is locked by user [Admin].
ERROR - 1030200 - Cannot access object: /hyperion/fte.rul.
OK/INFO - 1053013 - Object [94458075] unlocked by user [Admin].
ERROR - 1241101 - Unexpected Essbase error 1030200
i am not able to find why is it not able to access the rul fle??
can anyone help me with this??

this is not working where i try to load data from a file which is not in applicaiton but is at a differnt loaction. also the rules file.
The error says cannot access rules file.
Is that a compulsion that the rules file should be in any application??
cant we use a rules file which is elsewhere???

Maxl Import Data Error

I am getting the following error when i try to do import of Data into Database using MAXL.Can you please let me know what i am doing wrong.I am trying to incorporate this into a script.
MAXL> import database 'HQFPA'.'HQFPA' data from local text data_file 'E:\\Hyperion\\AnalyticServices\\app\\HQFPA_Level0.txt';
ERROR - 1242020 - (1) Syntax error near end of statement.
importing Databases for HQFPA.HQSLP
MAXL> import database 'HQFPA'.'HQSLP' data from local text data_file 'E:\\Hyperion\\AnalyticServices\\app\\HQSLP_Level0.txt';
ERROR - 1242020 - (1) Syntax error near end of statement.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There's nothing that I can see wrong with your syntax. For giggles, I wrote an import statement against sample basic on my laptop (no load rule, just like yours) and stuck it into a three line MaxL script (login, import, exit):
import database 'sample'.'basic' data from local data_file 'c:\\hyperion\\essbase\\app\\sample\\basic\\calcdat.txt' on error abort ;
It works.
BTW, this also works:
import database sample.basic data from local data_file 'c:\hyperion\essbase\app\sample\basic\calcdat.txt' on error abort ;
Isn't MaxL neat? :)

BTW, that first import statement has a double backslash between basic and calcdat but it doesn't show up after it's posted yet it is there when I edited it. It must be something to do with the way it gets wrapped in my browser.

This also works (added text property to data_file):

Maxl import on error write to error

I created a Maxl import data script to load data using SQL. The execution works when the on error is set to abort, however, when I set the on error to write or append I receive a syntax error message.
I set the path in script editor as on error write to 'c:\\hyperion\dataload.err' but it appears in the MaxL statement window as on error write to $outfile_sree1.
Does anyone know what might cause this error?

MAXL Import Database (and export data?)

I have an import database MAXL command that is working great (sql account and password substituted). The rule file has a SQL connection to our ERP.
MAXL> import database PLANNING.DetView data connect as sql_account identified by "Password" using rules_file "'\\\oceanus-d13\\Oracle\\Middleware\\user_projects\\epmsystem3\\EssbaseServer\\essbaseserver1\\app\\PLANNING\\DetView\\NLIncur.rul'" on error write to "'G:\\DB_Process\\DetView_Process\\errors\\DetView_NLIncur_data_load.mxl.err'";
We are going to run this on a nightly basis and our requirement is to have a historical record of what was "pulled" from our ERP (even if it didn't make it in to Hyperion).
Here are the options that I've thought of:
Have a separate SSIS package use the same SQL to dump the data out of the ERP database into a flat file. The downside to this is that I'm using subvars from Essbase that don't exist in SQL. So I'd have to write the SQL in a different way potentially causing discrepancies.
A separate Data Export of what was loaded. The downside here is that it doesn't have the errors that never made it in.
I can't find another option in the import database command to spool the output of the SQL to a file.
Does anybody have thoughts on how to do this or are there other ways to achieve what I'm trying to do?

The SQL run via the load rule understands my subvars. The load rule SQL looks like this:
select...
WHERE
AND (('1' = '&IncSpanYr' --IF THE PERIODS SPAN YEARS
AND (('12' = '&CurMoNm' --IN JUNE LOOK INTO NEXT YEAR PERIOD 1
AND ((A.FISCAL_YEAR = '&CurYrNm' AND A.ACCOUNTING_PERIOD IN ('&PriMoNm', '&CurMoNm'))
This turns into:
WHERE
AND (('1' = '1' --IF THE PERIODS SPAN YEARS
AND (('12' = '12' --IN JUNE LOOK INTO NEXT YEAR PERIOD 1
AND ((A.FISCAL_YEAR = '2014' AND A.ACCOUNTING_PERIOD IN ('2', '3'))
My issue is getting a dump of all that data that the SQL is pulling. I don't see a way to do that in the import database command. A separate job on the SQL side (like SSIS) could pull the data, but can't access the subvars easily. Does that make sense? Or did I misunderstand your suggestion?
