Import excelsheet in HTMLDB 2.0 generates error:

The file contains invalid file extension. No binary file types are supported.
When I use the browse function the following file types are allowed:
all files
pictures (jpg, ...)
html
But no xls files?
Any idea how this comes? Do help!

You almost "got it" in the last post. Here's some advice to get the attention of the HTML DB Developers (I know, I used to be one) and other contributors on this Forum when you need help:
Once you find an error/bug/typo with HTML DB:
1) Search this Forum and Google and MetaLink to make sure that it is not something that has been already reported/resolved by someone else.
2) Read the Documentation & Release Notes.
3) Try to resolve the problem on your own - personally, I learn best by doing this. Sure, if you're new, this step may be brief, but give it a shot.
4) If at this point, you still cannot resolve your issue, then post a carefully worded, detailed description of what the issue is. "I get an error when installing HTML DB" is useless. "When I install HTML DB release 2.0, upon completing the install and trying to log in, I get a 404: Page Not Found. In the Apache Logs, there is this... etc." will get people's attention and likely a good response. See http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html for details on how to ask a "Smart" question.
5) If noone replies to your post, do NOT re-post a new thread. That will likely get ignored as well. You can try to supplement your original post with more details, additional things you have tried and ruled out, or as many people do, a simple "Bump" to put it at the top of the queue. Posts with multiple replies will elicit more response than posts with 0 or 1 response.
6) Keep posts on-topic. If you need to comment on an older or different topic, simply start a new thread.
7) Treat others with respect.
Having said all of that, I totally agree with you that "Delimited or CSV" means nothing to a novice, and that the HTML DB Team should make note of this, so that it can be corrected in a future release.

Hey Ravi,
It seems that the model you have imported did not get reflected in you activity.
I would sugest try re-importing the model (if possible delete and re-create). If it prompts you to add file, accept it.

ORA-105100 Import Java Class (Not a class path error)

the problem is that when using externalCall.run from oracle forms it is generating
error ORA-105100 err.
This is not a class path error as we are able to access concat function of java
class using Import Java Class.

ORA-105101 when using Java Importer

I keep getting the error: "lightroom could not import this catalog because of an unknown error" when trying to import from a catalog?

I have around 400,000 photos of 15 years so given the high number, I organized all my photos into 6 catalogs to avoid potential problems. All the photos and the catalogs are in a 4TB Seagate external hard drive. I use Adobe Lightroom 5 and I use a PC with the latest Windows Office 2013.
I wanted to have a NEW Catalog of all my rated 1 Star+ photos of all the years in a single Catalog. So I created what I called Star+ Catalog and I was told the best option is to import a Catalog at a time and given that there is no means to filter importing only Stared photos, I would import all the photos and then delete all the UnStared photos. I did that for Catalog Year 2014 but at the end gave me the message: "lightroom could not import this catalog because of an unknown error". It actually had imported around 40k photos from about 50k total. I tried again and again and every time I end up with the same thing. I created another new Catalog and stared from scratch and the same ting happened: the ONLY EXACT 40k or so photos were imported and the rest were not!! When I imported Catalog Year 2013 of around 45k photos, it worked perfectly. But when I imported Catalog Year 2012 of 35k photos, the same thing happened!!
I then tried exporting the needed photos to a new Catalog and that worked. But then when I try to import them again from my Master *+ Catalog I get the same error again!!
I also tried creating a new Master *+ Catalog and tried to import the Catalogs of each year into it and the same error happened again!!!
Any advice: 1) on how to solve this? and 2) if there is a better and easier way to create this Master Catalog of All Stared Photos of All my Catalogs?

OK, my starting point is that LR can happily contain 400000+ photos, and it's a mistake to create a 1 star plus catalogue as you suggest. Instead, I'd recommend you create a master catalogue of all your photos, which you can then query however you want - 2 star, or a certain keyword, or with "xyz" in the title etc.
If you are intent on going that way, you could try a slight change from what you've done so far. Instead of trying to import an entire catalogue and then delete no-star pictures, take the 2014 and 2012 catalogues and select only the 1 star photos. Then do an Export as Catalog for these items, and import the 2014-1star and 2012-1star into your new catalogue. That may get you past the problem images which I suspect are the problem.
If that doesn't work, or if you follow my initial advice, you're going to need to identify the image where the failure occurs. You may have a corrupt image file, and replacing it from your backup may be sufficient to resolve the problem. Alternatively, it may be a corrupt record in the catalogue, and in this case it may be sufficient to remove the image from the catalogue and import it again. You might try selecting everything in the 2014 catalogue and seeing if you can do an Export as Catalog, creating a clean 2014, and deleting 2014's previews folder might also get rid of a potential problem. Something else is to try the Export as Catalog for images 1-40000, then a second Export as Catalog for images 40002-50k.
So a few things you'll need to try, rather than a magic bullet, and a recommendation to change the underlying direction.

How to stop execution after generating error message in an error handler?

I am working on ALSB 3.0.I have a proxy consisting of 2 stages in a pipeline pair. I have error handlers for each of the stages. The first stage contains schema validation action. Whenever the schema validation fails,control should transfer to error handler.
The error handler has a publish action and in request action I am calling an xquery transformation to generate error message.Publish action should publish message to a jms based business service configured. My questions are:
1. After getting into the error handler, the first alert msg configured inside request action (of publish action) is generated.Subsequent actions to generate error xml message and to replace the contents of errorXml in $body are not executed.And so no error message is generated or published.
2. I have also configured a reply with failure. Inspite of that,the control shifts to next stage in request pipeline and execution continues.
Can anyone tell me where I need to do the corrections.

Got the answer.Generate error xml outside publish action.Replace action has to placed inside Publish's request action.To stop execution,use Reply action after Publish.

Please start a new thread for a new problem the next time.
When you get this error, you forgot to set the display type for an item. The navigator tree should also show a warning icon for the item to indicate the missing required property.

Sorry. I saw the similar error message in that thread about nullPG ... model and thought it was the same problem. In any case, this is a new one now so I can relate my solution in case someone else runs into it.
I was getting that generator error message even though all my items had display types and no warning icons appeared in the navigator tree.
However, I had a master group with no items in it and had made changes to region-metadata.xml. After backing out the region-metadata changes and adding a master group item, I was able to generate. I suspect the region-metadata changes more than the missing item because a group with no items throws a clear message that the Descriptor Item is missing. Of course, I can't reproduce the error at the moment.

Sounds like the java version on your Linux machine is not working with the PostgreSQL JDBC driver.
Try updating your JVM on the Linux server.

This error occurs just after bootup, no programs started except windows..
Running Windows 2000 latest version on a brand new computer.
(pent 4 3.0 ghz 500MB ram).
Can anyone help me with this problem? Happened after install Labview 7.0
express. Installed twice and same problem occured with both installs.
Labview 7.0 is the only thing installed right now. Also selected "Visual
Basic Support" install from driver cd's.
One other thing I just noticed. System info reports 2 processors and I
think I only have one.

After ignoring this problem for awhile and installing some NI DAQ boards,
this problem is not happening anymore.
Would urge NI to investigate further though. Messed me up for a couple of
days, and still don't know why it happened.

ITunes generated errors???

early this weekend i moved several iTunes applications to a different drive. now iTunes wont work. when i try and open it it says that "iTunes.exe has generated errors, and will be closed by windows. you will need to restart the program." also when i was moving i had to make a new folder cause the computer siad that drive i was moving it to already had it. would this have anything to do with it? thanks in advance

im an totaly and complete IDIOT. I totally forgot that Quicktime had to be INSTALLED for iTunes to run. i feel dumb. it had nothing to do with moving files.

Generate error list with object detail

I have two way (multimaster ) Replication but due to some reason it generated many errors during replicate data so to resolve errors, I want to generate error list (Report) with object details instead viewing them one by one. please guide

What do you mean with generate error list (Report) with object details ?
You can get all the errors from DEFERROR view.
There are columns DEFERRED_TRAN_ID and CALLNO.
You can join this columns with DEFCALL (DEFERRED_TRAN_ID and CALLNO).
Joining this two views will provide information about the objects and transaction type involved in the call.
DEFCALL.PACKAGENAME contains the reference to the table_name.
DEFCALL.PROCNAME contains information about the transaction type.
Example:
select e.deferred_tran_id,
       e.callno,
       e.origin_tran_db,
       c.packagename,
       c.procname
from deferror e, defcall c
where e.deferred_tran_id=c.deferred_tran_id
