Import xml files with pop up menu

Is there a way of importing different xml files via a popup menu?
have tried this but it only shows up the browser for files.
var cChoice = app.popUpMenu
("Menyval FU-Kit", "-", ["Disk","S-1345_catalog_data.xml","S-2455_catalog_data.xml","S-46_catalog_data.xml","S-46 56_catalog_data.xml","S-8666_catalog_data.xml","-"],
["Spolo","1200_2000_catalog_data.xml","S-315_S-415_catalog_data.xml","S-600_catalog_data.x ml","S-615_catalog_data.xml","-"]);
xfa.host.importData ("")(cChoice), this;

I didn't realise that f*r*i*g*g*e*n was a naughty word here in the USA.
The link that I am referring to is found under the "CATS" heading.....

  • XML-file with prefix in Java importing

    Hello,
    I have one XML-file with prefix "wf" like this:
       <wf:data>
               <wf:name>NAME</wf:name>
               <wf:description/>
               <wf:creation_time>0001-01-01T00:00:00</wf:creation_time>
               <wf:user wf:ref=""/>
               <wf:properties/>
       </wf:data>the Java-Code like this:
    DocumentBuilderFactory factory = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance();
              factory.setNamespaceAware(false);
              XPath xpath = XPathFactory.newInstance().newXPath();
              String expression = "./data/name/text()";
              InputSource inputSource = new InputSource("workflow.xml");
                    String result = xpath.evaluate(expression, inputSource);the Java-Code works well, if the prefix does not exist, otherwise I could not get any result. Could somebody please help me?
    Thank you
    Sunny

    I have defined the namespaceI didn't see that in your original post.
    I notice that your XPath expression doesn't include the namespace prefixes and you don't tell it how to map the prefixes to the namespace URIs. I am not sure whether calling factory.setNamespaceAware(false) makes it unnecessary to do that. I wouldn't count on it.

  • How can I save a XML file with JAXP1.1?

    Dear All.
    I write a program to create XML file with DOM model, but I can't know how to save it? My environment is JAXP1.1 and JDK1.3.1,I has been required not use other XML parser toolkits,only JAXP1.1.
    How can I do? thank you.
    Many person give me a idea the com.sun.xml.tree.XmlDocument, but I can't find the class in API document or JAXP1.1's packages. why?
    what is it? How can i use it?
    thank you very much.

    The way to save an XML Document is using a Transformer.
    To have access to a transformer use the packages :
    import javax.xml.transform.*;
    import javax.xml.transform.dom.*;
    import javax.xml.transform.stream.*;
    Then for saving your Document Object (named dXml) get a Transformer Object with the TransformerFactory Object :
    TransformerFactory tf = TransformerFactory.newInstance();
    Transformer t = tf.newTransformer();
    Now you have got your Transformer Object, to save your Document Object use the method :
    Document dXml = getMyDocument(); // this is your Document Object.
    OutputStream osSave = getMySaveStream(); // this the OutputStream you need to save your Document.
    try
    t.transform(new DomSource(dXml), new StreamResult(new OutputStreamWriter(osSave)));
    finally
    osSave.close();
    And your Document was now saved.

  • Create xml file with values from context

    Hi experts!
    I am trying to implement a WD application that will have some input fields, the value of those input fields will be used to create an xml file with a certain format and then sent to a certain application.
    Apart from this i want to read an xml file back from the application and then fill some other context nodes with values from the xml file.
    Is there any standard used code to do this??
    If not how can i do this???
    Thanx in advance!!!
    P.S. Points will be rewarded to all usefull answers.

    Please stop this P.S. nonsense!

    Hi,
    you need to create three util class for that:-
    XMLHandler
    XMLParser
    XMLBuilder
    for example in my XML two tag item will be there e.g. Title and Organizer,and from ur WebDynpro view you need to pass value for the XML tag.
    And u need to call buildXML()function of builder class to generate XML, in that i have passed bean object to get the values of tags. you need to set the value in bean from the view ui context.

  • SQL Server 2012 Management Studio:Importing XML file to new Table of new Database-XML parsing: unexpected end of input???

    Hi all,
    In the Notepad, I created an xml file (ZenQroducts.xml) :
    <Qroducts>
    <Qroduct>
    <SKU>1</SKU>
    <Desc>Book</Desc>
    </Qroduct>
    <Qroduct>
    <SKU>2</SKU>
    <Desc>DVD</Desc>
    </Qroduct>
    <Qroduct>
    <SKU>3</SKU>
    <Desc>Video</Desc>
    </Qroduct>
    In my SQL Server 2012 Management Studio, I executed the following code:
    --to create a new object Qroducts in a new database OPENXMLtesting
    CREATE DATABASE OPENXMLtesting
    GO
    CREATE TABLE Qroducts(
    sku INT Primary KEY,
    qroduct_desc VARCHAR(30));
    INSERT INTO Qroducts (sku, qroduct_desc)
    SELECT X.qroduct.query('SKU').value('.', 'INT'),
    X.qroduct.query('Desc').value('.', 'VARCHAR(30)')
    FROM (
    SELECT CAST(x AS XML)
    FROM OPENROWSET(
    BULK 'H:\ZenQroducts.xml',
    SINGLE_BLOB) AS T(x)
    ) AS T(x)
    CROSS APPLY x.nodes('Qroducts/Qroduct') AS X(qroduct);
    SELECT sku, qroduct_desc
    FROM Qroducts;
    I got the following message:
    Msg 9400, Level 16, State 1, Line 6
    XML parsing: line 13, character 12, unexpected end of input
    I have no ideas why I got this "XML parsing:line 13, character12, unexpected end of input" message. Please kindly help, advise me on where I made mistake and how I can resolve this problem, and respond in this Forum.
    Thanks in advance,
    Scott Chang

    Hi Manish, Thanks for your response.
    Yes, it is a duplicate with Qroducts/Qroduct instead of Products/Product. I did it, because I don't know how to remove the existing "Products" database.
    Again, I got the existing "Qroducts" database in this second trial!!??  I am comletely lost in doing "Importing XML file to SQL Table" now!!  I think that I have not touched T-SQL and XML programming, since 2008. I
    did not catch the new features of T-SQL 2008, XML, SQL/XML, XQuery, etc. for long time. Recently, I did not know what DECLARE, @x, SET,...were, and dived into the SQL/XML and XQuery programming. I knew the SQL Basics (SELECT, FROM, WHERE,..), creating
    the names of databases and tables in SQL Server 2008/2012 Management Studio (Express) before. This morning, I found an old T-SQL 2008 Prgrammer's Guide that has the new features of SQL Server 2008 for T-SQL, XML, XQuery, etc. I just starting reading
    it to know what DECLARE, @x, SET,... are. But, I still don't know where the existing databases "Products" and "Qroducts" (created by me) are - they are not in the Databases of SQL Server 2012 Management Studio I am using!!??  Could
    you please kindly point out where the "Products" and "Qroducts" databases are?
    Prashanth responded to my posted question too and he asked to to try his code: DECLARE @xml XML, SELECT @xml =' <Qroducts>.....SELECT product.value.....FROM @XML.nodes.....AS.... I just learned that his code is doing the thing we
    want to do and print the results below the SQL Query. This is not what I need in doing my SQL/XML programming. I am reading/studying the new (2008) features of T-SQL, XQuery 1.0: An XML Query Language (Second Edition), and Microsoft XQuery Language Reference
    (SQL Server 2012 Books Online) closely now. I hope that I can resume the T-SQL, XML Query, SQL/XML, XQuery in my SQL Server 2012 Management Studio soon.
    Please tell me  where the existing databases "Products" and "Qroducts" I created in my previous trials in my SQL Server 2012 Management Studio.  This is what I need to know and to delete them, before I do this kind of "Importing
    XML file to Table of SQL Server 2012 Management Studio"  programming again.
    Please kindly help, advise and respond again.
    Many Thanks,
    Scott Chang

  • File Adapter : read XML file with data validation and file rejection ?

    Hello,
    In order to read a XML file with the file adapter, I have defined a XSD that I have imported to my project.
    Now the File Adapter reads the file correctly but it does not give an error when:
    - the data types are not valid. Ex: dateTime is expected in a node and a string is provided
    - the XML file has invalid attributes.
    How can I manage error handling for XML files ?
    Should I write my own Java XPath function to validate the file after is processed ? (here is an example for doing this : http://www.experts-exchange.com/Web/Web_Languages/XML/Q_21058568.html)
    Thanks.

    one option is to specify validateXML on the partnerlink (that describes the file adapter endpoint) such as shown here
    <partnerLinkBinding name="StarLoanService">
    <property name="wsdlLocation"> http://<hostname>:9700/orabpel/default/StarLoan/StarLoan?wsdl</property>
    <property name="validateXML">true</property>
    </partnerLinkBinding>

  • How do you display xml file with xlst sheet in jsp

    I have an xml file with accompanying xslt file (and several images that are used in a single directory. If I doubleclick on the xml file, it displays perfectly in my browser - Formatting, images and all!
              The 100 dollar question - How do I duplicate this behavior in a JSP page in WebLogic 8.1 using the code in the xml and the accompanying xslt (formatting) file? I tried simple embedding the xml code in the jsp, but that didn't seem to work. What is the secret?
              Okay, I need to add a bit more information here. I understand that it is really easy to just redirect to the XML file. The issue is really security. I want the XML to be inside a jsp that will only allow validated users to view it.
              Another way to look at the problem would be, can I add a jsp security tag to the xml file? Or how to I add the xml code inside a jsp and keep the path references to the xslt and graphics.
              Hope the added information helps
              Thanks,
              Ken

    I read files from the web, but there is a XML tag
    with the encoding attribute in the RSS file.If you are quite sure that you have an encoding attribute set to ISO-8859-1 then I expect that your RSS file has non-ISO-8859-1 character though I thought all bytes -128 to 127 were valid ISO-8859-1 characters!
    Many years ago I had a problem with an XML file with invalid characters. I wrote a simple filter (using FilterInputStream) that made sure that all the byes it processed were ASCII. My problem turned out to be characters with value zero which the Microsoft XML parser failed to process. It put the parser in an infinite loop!
    In the filter, as each byte is read you could write out the Hex value. That way you should be able to find the offending character(s).

  • Does FC Express import XML files?

    I just want to be ABSOLUTELY clear when I go to the client.
    I have a FCP HD2 project (the most recent FCP) that has only just been started. Simple butt edits, no effects, no transitions. If I create an XML file, with the lowest settings, can I import that into FC Express without loosing to much?

    No. FCE does not support XML, nor does it support importing projects from FCPro.

  • Read xml File with counter

    I have a question, but I posted it on the wrong forum. This is the link:

    Hi,
    I have created a program that read an xml file like this:
    <xas>
    <information>
    <list>"12345"</list>
    <version>1.0.0.1</version>
    </information>
    <word><n>0</n><v>test123v</v><a>test123a</a></word>
    <word><n>1</n><v>testv</v><a>testa</a></word>
    </xas>
    I read it to a listview called listview1:
    The MainWindow.xaml:
    <Window x:Class="MainWindow"
    xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation"
    xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml"
    Title="" Height="1220" Width="1017" WindowStartupLocation="Manual" ScrollViewer.HorizontalScrollBarVisibility="Visible" ScrollViewer.CanContentScroll="True" UseLayoutRounding="False" WindowState="Maximized">
    <Grid>
    <ListView x:Name="ListView1" HorizontalAlignment="Left" Height="1220" VerticalAlignment="Top" Width="1017">
    <ListView.View>
    <GridView x:Name="Lijst">
    <GridViewColumn x:Name="Vraag" Header="Vraag" DisplayMemberBinding="{Binding Vraag}">
    </GridViewColumn>
    <GridViewColumn x:Name="Antwoord" Header="Antwoord" DisplayMemberBinding="{Binding Antwoord}">
    </GridViewColumn>
    </GridView>
    </ListView.View>
    </ListView>
    </Grid>
    </Window>
    And this is MainWindow.xaml.vb:

    This is the code to fix that (ViewWord.xaml.vb):
    Imports System.IO
    Public Class ViewWord
    Private Structure AntwoordVraag
    Public Vraag As String
    Public Antwoord As String
    End Structure
    Private Sub ViewWord_Initialized(sender As Object, e As EventArgs) Handles Me.Initialized
    End Sub
    Private Sub AntwoordAanpassenButton_Click(sender As Object, e As RoutedEventArgs) Handles AntwoordAanpassenButton.Click
    Dim Vraagnummer As String
    Dim Bestandsnaam As String
    Dim LeesVraag As New StreamReader(Path.GetTempPath & "110% Soft\ListViewer 1.0.0.6\Word.txt")
    Dim LeesFile As New StreamReader(Path.GetTempPath & "110% Soft\ListViewer 1.0.0.6\File.txt")
    Vraagnummer = LeesVraag.ReadLine()
    Bestandsnaam = LeesFile.ReadLine()
    LeesVraag.Close()
    LeesFile.Close()
    MessageBox.Show(Vraagnummer)
    Dim teller As Integer = 0
    Dim orderInfo = XElement.Load(Bestandsnaam)
    If teller = Vraagnummer Then
    VraagNummerTextBox.Text = orderInfo...<word>...<n>.Value
    VraagTextBox.Text = orderInfo...<word>...<v>.Value
    AntwoordTextBox.Text = orderInfo...<word>...<a>.Value
    Else
    teller = teller + 1
    End If
    End Sub
    End Class
    But the result isn't:
    VraagTextBox.Text = testv
    AntwoordTextBox.Text = testa
    NummerTextBox.Text = 1
    if i click on the number 2 of the listview (index = 1)
    How can i fix it?

  • Open XML file with user default browser and not the default editor.

    Hi,
    I'm writing a java program that appends numerous XML files together. The result is a NEW well formed XML document. Since i have an XSLT that performs several UI modifications on this xml file, the file extension must remain '.xml'. I need to open this xml file with the users default web browser. The problem is that:
    Runtime.getRuntime().exec(cmd);
    ....opens the xml file with the users default program for opening xml files which in my case is Oxygen. I want to force java to open this xml file with the users default web browser and nothing else.
    I guess i need the Windows command to perform the 'open with' feature but i have no idea what that command is or how to find it.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Varun Singh

    People do not often ask questions (or make challenges or observations) idly for the sake of 'theory'. It is most useful to explain to the best of your ability.
    As to
    "Since the Desktop class was only released with SE 6 I am forced to find another alternative. "
    There is an 'alternative'. You can import it into a 1.5 project. It was available as a free standing API before 1.6 - through JDIC. See [https://jdic.dev.java.net/documentation/Examples.html|https://jdic.dev.java.net/documentation/Examples.html] for more info.
    Edit 1:
    To a later reply
    "Do u .."
    ..want to spell incorrectly when you get frustrated?
    "..do not wish to.."
    ..get any help? That is the way you are heading.

  • How To read an XML file with JDom

    I have read through some tutorials after installing JDom on how to read an existing XML file and I was confused by all of them. I simply want to open an XML file and read one of the node's content. Such as <username>john doe</username> this way I can compare values with what the user has entered as their username. I am not sure were to start and I was hoping someone could help me out.
    I know that this seems like an insecure way to store login information but after I master opening and writing XML files with JDom I am going to use AES to encrypt the XML files.

    Here is a test program for JDom and XPath use considering your XML file is named "test.xml" :import org.jdom.input.*;
    import org.jdom.xpath.*;
    public class JDomXPath {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
      SAXBuilder saxBuilder = new SAXBuilder("org.apache.xerces.parsers.SAXParser");
      try {
       org.jdom.Document jdomDocument = saxBuilder.build("test.xml");
       org.jdom.Element usernameNode = (org.jdom.Element)XPath.selectSingleNode(jdomDocument, "//username");
       System.out.print(usernameNode.getText());
      } catch (Exception e) {
       e.printStackTrace();
    }(tested with Eclipse)

  • Import two file with Import manager

    Hello expert MDM,
    I needs  to import  two Source file from different systems (Navision and ERP 2005). I  am not using XI. but i have extract the both source manually and i have two XML-file with duplicate. I would like to import the both file with Import manager. I have import one file successfully. But I can not import the second file because the Button  "Get the second Source" is faded out. Could you give me Input how can I solve this problem?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi badang,
       To Import Second file please follow these steps:
       In Import Manager after you import your first file then go to <b>File --> Connect to Source</b>  in import manager, a new window comes then specify your second file name and perform Import normally.
    Regarding the Get the second source i found this documentation from reference guide:
    The Port drop-down list includes an entry for each inbound port you define in the MDM Console for the selected Remote System; those that do not have files waiting or are locked by another user are disabled in the drop-down list. When you select a port, the
    MDM Import Manager automatically selects the first source data file that is waiting to be processed; you can then use the Get Next Source File command to select each succeeding file.
    Thanks and Regards,
