Importing Wildcard Cert into Web Server???

Hi all, does anyone know how I can import a wildcard certificate, private key, & CA cert into the Sun Java Web Server ?
We have a wildcard certificate from DigiCert that I want import into the web server. There are 3 files in total:
The files are:
1) The wildcard cert
2) The DigiCert CA cert
3) The private key
I've been playing around with tools like certutil, pk12util, and the web server admin GUI but so far no success.
Thanks in advance,
Stewart

The private key and cert files are in PEM format. The two certs were supplied to us by DigiCert. We are currently using these files with Apache without any problems.
Now we want to use them with the Sun Java web server.
I think i've successfully imported them as show below.....
# /opt/SUNWwbsvr7/bin/certutil -d /var/opt/SUNWwbsvr7/<instance-name>/config -L
DigiCert Global CA - Entrust.net CT,,
my-wildcard u,u,u
# /opt/SUNWwbsvr7/bin/certutil -d /var/opt/SUNWwbsvr7/<instance-name>/config -K
<0> my-wildcard
In the web server admin gui, however, no certs are displayed.

  • Importing Wildcard Cert into Messaging Server and Comms Express???

Hi all, does anyone know how I can import a wildcard certificate, private key, & CA cert into Messaging Server 6.3 and Comms Express 6.3?
We have 3 files from DigiCert that I think need to be imported:
    1) A wildcard cert from DigiCert
    2) The DigiCert CA cert
    3) The private key
    Thanks in advance,

Hi, we are upgrading from iMS5.2 to SJMS6.3 later this year but in the mean time i'm trying to work out how to import the wildcard certs, key, etc from DigiCert into our current iMS5.2. I've heard it can be done.
We're currently using a cert from Verisign in our iMS5.2 environment.

  • Import SSL cert into OC4J for remote server

i have Java code within a JSP that creates a secure URLConnection from within my OC4J container to another local server. this code works just fine when run as a rich application from JDeveloper, but when run from within the OC4J container it throws the following error:
    javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: java.security.cert.CertificateException: Couldn't find trusted certificate
i have a deadline looming for Monday (June 19th) that requires this communication. what is the supported mechanism for enabling the OC4J instance to connect with Java code via SSL to another server? i know one usually uses the JSSE keystore, but from the OC4J documentation i've seen, it looks like you're supposed to use the Oracle Wallet instead, but i need verification... can anyone help regardring enabling my Java code to communicate with another local SSL server from within my OC4J instance?

you need to add the cert to your jvm's keystore

  • Import Exchange cert into JVM for CF10

    Hello, everyone.
I'm trying to learn the CFEXCHANGECONNECTION and CFEXCHANGECONTACT tags, and I'm having a bit of an issue.
When I first started playing around with it, I was getting error messages that the connection couldn't be formed because the Exchange server only accepts https connections, so I set the protocol to https.
Then I was getting an error message regarding the "cert not installed in CF server", so I managed to get a copy of the SSL cert (DER format .cer file) and followed instructions on how to import it into the JVM that CF uses.
I'm still getting the error saying that the cert isn't installed in CF server.  Any suggestions?

How did you create an empty keystore? Ideally when you use keytool -genkey command then it generates a keystore and a key. Have you made sure that the cert which you are importing is in PEM format (PEM certs can be opened in any text editor)

  • Import Multiple Excel Into Sql Server

I have 4 Excel spreadsheets all with different formatting and column names that I want to use powershell to import into ONE Sql Server Table that I will want to create with powershell.  I have found several instances of importing one workbook, but I

As a workaroud, how about merge mutiple excel files into one file, then import this excel file to sql table?
To merge excel files, please refer to this script:
    $Files = 'd:\merge1.xlsx','d:\merge2.xlsx'

    ForEach($File in $Files[0..4]){
    $Source = $Excel.Workbooks.Open($File,$true,$true)
If(($Dest.ActiveSheet.UsedRange.Count -eq 1) -and ([String]::IsNullOrEmpty($Dest.ActiveSheet.Range("A1").Value2))){ #If there is only 1 used cell and it is blank select A1

  • Skip bad row during importing large dump into sql server

    Hello,
I have an issue during importing very large (more than 3 GB) dump file into sql server express. I have used command line for this purpose. Unfortunately this file was exported in UTF-8 so I had to convert it unicode. The unicode columns contain N' prefix.
Unfortunately the file contains apostrophes in other fields as well.
My question is: Is there an opportunity to skip bad rows during importing? (Force import e.g.)
    Sincerely, Laszlo Toth

    >>>Unfortunately the file contains apostrophes in other fields as well.
You can concatenate the single quote using the CHAR function to build the string:
    SELECT N'Brian O'+CHAR(39)+'Brien'

  • Importing WAR file into Web Module Project

    Hi,
I am brand new to SAP and i'm trying to help out with a proof of concept for our SAP rollout.  I am trying to import a J2EE application that currently runs on WebSphere 5.1 and was developed using WSAD.  I found a blog on the SAP site and it gave a simple run down of how to Migrate from WebSphere application server to SAP Application Server.
    Here is the link: /people/community.user/blog/2007/03/06/migrating-application-from-websphere-application-server-to-sap-was
The steps seem simple enough yet I am having issues trying to import my WAR file into my Web Module Project in Netweaver.
Step 4 gives the following instructions: Create a WEB Module Project and import the WAR file.
Unfortunately, they do not give more detail besides Import the WAR file.  When I try importing my WAR file, it adds the WAR file in my Web Content folder.  I was expecting it to extract all my java classes and my jsp files but this is not the case.  To do this, I right clicked on my Web Module Project while in the J2EE Explorer view and selected import file and selected my WAR.  I'm assuming this is not correct.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Phil

    Hi Phil!
You don't need to create previously a web module to import the war then.
I'm assuming you're using NWDS (Netweaver Developer Studio). Try this. In NWDS: File -> Import... ->
then, select "WAR file". After that, you need to inform the path of you WAR file and automatically it will fill in the name of your project, that you can change if you desire. After that, click in Finish and it's all.

  • Error importing text file into SQL Server when last column is null

    Hello all. Happy holidays!
I'm trying to import a text file into a SQL Server table, and I get the error below when it gets to a row (row 264) that has null in the last column. I'm guessing the null jumbles up the delimiters somehow. The nulls are not errors, and I need to import
them into the table with the rest of the rows. Any idea how I can do that?
    Thanks!

    WeeLass

    Hi WeeLass,
The error that” Data conversion failed. The data conversion for column "XYZ" returned status value 2 and status text "The value could not be converted because of a potential loss of data.".” is generally error message, and the error indicates
that there is data type mismatch issue between the input columns and the output columns.
Based on your description, the issue is that you trying to convert a column contains empty value from string to integer data type for the output column "XYZ" in Flat File Source [1]. Please note that we cannot type an empty value as integer data
type column value, so the error occurs.
To fix this issue, just as you did, we should convert the data type for the output column "XYZ" in Flat File Source [1] back to DT_WSTR or DT_STR, then use a derived column task to replace the current column (UBPKE542). But the expression should
    be like below:
    LEN(TRIM(UBPKE542)) > 0 ? (DT_I8)UBPKE542 : NULL(DT_I8)
In this way, the data type of the column in SQL table would be int, and the empty value would be replaced with NULL.
If there are any other questions, please feel free to ask.

  • Issue importing flat files into SQL server 2008R2

I have csv files that the last column may not have data. SSIS (version 2008R2) will insert the next row's data into the empty cells, which causes my package to fail.
I know this is resolved in 2012 but we are using 2008R2 still. Any suggestions?
    Thanks.

    Hi sqlBI2014,
After testing the issue that Flat File Connection Manager cannot handle file with uneven number of columns in each row in my SQL Server 2008 R2 environment, I can reproduce it.
Based on my research, the issue is caused by the Column Delimiter gets first preference and then Row delimiter. So the next row data would be inserted in the empty column cell. This is by design in SQL Server 2005, SQL Server 2008 or SQL Server 2008 R2.
Good news is that the issue is fixed in SQL Server Data Tools which comes with SQL Server 2012. In SQL Server 2012, by default, the Flat File Connection Manager always checks for a row delimiter in unquoted data, and starts a new row when a row delimiter
is found. This enables the connection manager to correctly parse files with rows that are missing column fields.
If you still want to fix the issue in SQL Server 2008 R2, there is a sample component posted to the CodePlex that might help you with this:

  • Import Access Table into SQL Server 2005

I am using BIDS and have created a OLEDB connection to my mdb file, and a DataFlowTask for the Control Flow, but lost on what to set-up on the Data Flow tab.  What do I do to set-up the data flow to import the mdb table to sql server?

Why Execute SQL Task is needed?
Typically the SQL is embedded into the OLEDB Source.
I guess when you were working on the destination you chose to create the table. Then you mapped to it. Why you cannot find it in
options I am not sure. Can you post a picture? The table would be now in the drop down list of tables available, but you supposed not to repeat this step.

Maybe I am just not fully understanding the link posted - but am trying.  Attached are my screenshots 1 of Control Flow Tab and 2 of Data Flow Tab.  My process is to take an access table and link it into SQL Server

  • How to write .CSV file to import device placeholder into Lion Server Profile Manager?

I'm now using Mac Mini with Lion Server (10.7.4). I've already setup a server with Profile Manager to manage some iOS devices.
Now I need to add many devices into Profile Manager. From some articles, (for example http://my.safaribooksonline.com/book/-/9780132778879/chapter-4dot-managing-accou nts/ch04lev1sec3), I found that I can use .CSV file to import many device placeholders at a time. So I create a .CSV file "devices.csv" with the content as the following:
    iPhone001,12345ABCD12,,,
Then I import this file to "Devices" in Profile Manager, but in vain. It says that the placeholder is invalid.
If there's any one could provide some exemples? Thanks a lot.

    Hi Nien-Yi Ho,
A little late, but perhaps someone else can benefit ...
The way I did this, is:
    - create an empty Excel spreadsheet
    - add 5 headers in the first row: DeviceName, SerialNumber, IMEI, MEID, UDID
    - in the next rows add your devices and specs (for the iPhones and iPads I only added DeviceName, SerialNumber and IMEI specs)
    - IMPORTANT: save the file as a Windows CSV file.
If you import the CSV file now, all should go well.
