Importing XDP produces a different file than if manually filled???

I have been successfully importing data into a PDF. When FinCEN's system didn't accept the form I performed a test by inputting the exact same data into a copy of the template PDF manually. FinCEN then accepted that form. So I decided to compare the two forms that looked identical.
The file sizes are different, 192kb for XDP imported, 157kb for manual.
When I manually export the XML using the Extended feature in Reader I get identical XML except there is a carriage return between the xml definition at the top and the root tag.
XDP imported
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<xfa:data xmlns:xfa="http://www.xfa.org/schema/xfa-data/1.0/"
Manual input
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<xfa:data xmlns:xfa="http://www.xfa.org/schema/xfa-data/1.0/"
Here is what I'm using to import in a ASP page. The "..." is where the specific PDF XML goes with values.
Response.Write("<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?><?xfa generator='AdobeDesigner_V7.0' APIVersion='2.2.4333.0'?><xdp:xdp xmlns:xdp='http://ns.adobe.com/xdp/'><xfa:datasets xmlns:xfa='http://www.xfa.org/schema/xfa-data/1.0/'><xfa:data>   ...   </xfa:data></xfa:datasets><pdf href='PDF Path' xmlns='http://ns.adobe.com/xdp/pdf/' /></xdp:xdp>")
I was just wondering if I'm missing something? I figured Adobe would have made importing of data to be no different than manual insertion.

Were you ever able to resolve this issue? I have the same problem with FinCen forms - they will not be accepted if the form is loaded using the Adobe Import from XML whereas the same data entered manually will be accepted.

  • Validate the input file against a given schema inside an orchestration and producing 2 different files based on the validation result

    HI All,
    I have a situation.
    I need to validate the input file against a given schema inside an orchestration and producing 2 different files based on the validation result.
    A predefined success schema in case of  validation success and negative schema structure for validation failure.
    any advice ?

    Hi Rachit,I following the blog
    http://dietergobeyn.be/validating-biztalk-messages-orchestration/ and stuck in few things
    I created a helper class with the name Validation and following code
    [Serializable]
        public class Validation
            private bool _isValid = true;
            public bool Validate(XmlDocument document, Type schema)
                XmlSchemaSet set = new XmlSchemaSet();
                if (typeof(SchemaBase).IsAssignableFrom(schema) && !schema.IsNested)
                    set.Add((Activator.CreateInstance(schema) as SchemaBase).Schema);
                ValidationEventHandler eventHandler = new ValidationEventHandler(HandleValidationError);
                document.Schemas = set;
                document.Validate(eventHandler);
                return _isValid;
            private void HandleValidationError(object sender, ValidationEventArgs ve)
                _isValid = false;
    public static bool ValidateMessage(XLANGMessage msg)
    XmlDocument xDoc = new XmlDocument();
    xDoc = (System.Xml.XmlDocument)msg[0].RetrieveAs(xDoc.GetType());
    Type t = typeof(Schemas.External.Invoice_v3_1);
    Validation validation = new Validation();
    return validation.Validate(xDoc, t);
    First thing, Do i need to write the ValidateMessage method inside the helper class or not ??
    If inside, how to add the reference of schema files in the statement (Type t = typeof(Schemas.External.Invoice_v3_1);)
     I tried adding the reference of my schema project but it is showing error.
    And what is to be written in the ValidateMessage expression shape in Orchestration ?
    Really appreciate your help.

  • AirPort DIsk User Accounts - SMB Access sees different files than AFP

    I have two hard drives attached to my Extreme via a powered USB hub. Both drives are formatted HFS. I have multiple user accounts configured for Disk Sharing over Ethernet WAN. When I use SMB or AFP to access the same user account from an external network I see different files. Based on the space available it appears as if the Extreme has setup the SMB account on one drive and the AFP account on the other. Is anyone else experiencing this, and if so, how do I consolidate the accounts and prevent this from happening?

    After some testing, here is my current theory. When your drives are mounted by the Extreme, it looks to find your user account folders on the first drive to mount. If the first drive to mount does not have your user folders, the Extreme creates a new set of user account folders on that drive. Consequently, when your drive with the user account folders finally mounts, you now have multiple sets of folders. I'm not sure why AFP or SMB accesses a different set of user folders, as I could not always recreate the same access patterns, but it appears that one protocol tends to see one set of user folders and the other protocol your other set of user folders. If I always mount the drives in the same order each time, new folders are not created and both protocols see the same sets of files.
    This brings up a new twist on the question. Since I will not always be around to manually remount the drives each time the Extreme re-boots, does anyone have any theories on a workaround?
    Secondarily, this means that all of your user folders need to be on one drive and any other drives mounted just become shared properties for all accounts. This doesn't seem like a very efficient use of storage space if individual users don't want a majority of their files available for everyone. Has anyone figured out how to get user accounts spread out over multiple drives?

  • Webcrawler issue: Downloads different file than the one visible in browser

    Hi Everyone,
    I am using a webcrawler to download webpages from a site. But it seems to be downloading different HTML files from the ones I can see in the browser. Someone suggested that I might try and setRequestProperty() to fake a browser.
    Could anyone tell me how to do that? I would really appreciate that. A pointer to a website would also be great...
    Thanks,
    Sameer

    Hi All,
    Thanks for the replies. The program can download the HTML pages correctly, apart from one missing column in a table in each page (which happens to be important for me!).
    I am getting the HTML files using HttpURLConnection.
    It has been pointed out to me by another someone :) that this might be due to the fact that the site requires a login, which I completely forgotten when writing the code. So that someone seems to suggest that adding code for setting cookies might solve this issue. Can anyone lead me through the process briefly? Or point me to documentation?
    Thanks again,
    Sameer
    What do the files you get look like ? Error pages ?
    Default pages ? How are you getting them ? HTTP by
    hand ? HttpURLConnection ?

  • Exposure to the right results in different TRC than normal exposure

    Exposure to the right is advocated by most experts to improve tonality and dynamic range. On the Luminous Landscape a photographer noted that ETTR all the way to the right followed by negative exposure correction in ACR produces a different image than is produced by normal exposure, and that he preferred the latter image.
    Luminous Landscape Thread
    Most responders to this post postulated that, since ACR is operating on linear data, underexposure by 1 EV followed by a 1 EV boost in ACR would produce the same results.
    I had some exposures of a Stouffer step wedge. The first was exposed so that step 1 has a pixel value of 250 when converted with ACR at default settings into aRGB. This is exposed to the right as far as possible. A second exposure placed the same step at 221, and this step was brought back to 250 in ACR, which required an exposure compensation of +1.05 EV.
    If you compare the resultant images in Photoshop using the difference blending mode, the differences too dark to make out on the screen, but can be detected with the eye dropper. In this image, normal exposure to the right is on top, and the difference between normal exposure and underexposure followed by a boost of 1 EV in ACR is shown on the bottom.
    The different resulting tone response curves are better shown by Imatest plots of the two images. As is evident the TRCs are different, contrary to my expectation. Comments are invited.

    The ETTR Myth
    ETTR is short for expose to the right. Some folks have promoted it as a replacement for traditional exposure metering. The premise is that you can validate camera metering by simply reading the histogram in the cameras preview window.
    Unfortunately, it is based on some basic misunderstandings about digital photographic technology. The first misunderstanding is the premise that each bit level in a digitally encoded image represents an exposure stop. The second misunderstanding is the premise that all digital cameras capture light in a perfectly linear fashion. The third misunderstanding is the premise that the histogram represents the raw image data captured by the camera. I will briefly address each of these.
    Any correlation between exposure stops and digital bit levels can only be accidental at best. The total exposure range in a scene or an image is correctly known as the dynamic range. The dynamic range of digital cameras is wider than most folks assumes and usually equal to or better than film or paper. It can be defined in terms of tone density, decibels, or exposure stops. It is a function of the optics and sensor electronics in the camera. The few cases where an accurate range is provided by the vendors, it varies from 8 to 12 f/stops.
    The image data is converted from analog measurements by the analog/digital (A/D) circuits early in the capture. This can wind up as an 8-bit, 12-bit, 14-bit, or even 16-bit digital value depending on the camera and its user settings. It is simply a number that has been digitized. Any correlation between bits and exposure levels is pure speculation, end of subject.
    Second, the digital capture of light is not strictly linear. It is true that the silicon sensor itself will capture light in a very linear fashion. But this ignores reciprocity at the toe and heel of the extremes, the quantum efficiency of the substrate, and most importantly it ignores the optical filters in front of the sensor. If the color filter array were linear it would be impossible to reconstruct colors. And these are not the only optical filters in your camera. Then, the A/D circuits have gain controls based on the current ISO setting. And some A/D circuits perform some pre-processing based on the illuminant color temperature (white balance) and limited noise reduction based on the ISO setting. The point is that there are many steps in the pipeline that can introduce non-linearity.
    Finally, the image in the preview window has been color rendered and re-sampled down to a small size. This is the data shown in the histogram. The camera can capture all colors in the spectrum, but the rendered image is limited to the gamut of an RGB color space. So, in addition to exposure clipping the histogram will include gamut clipping. This is also true for the blinking highlight and shadow tools. This might imply an exposure problem when none exists. There is no practical way to map all the data in a raw image into a histogram that you could use effectively in the preview window.
    If you capture an image of a gray scale chart that fits within the dynamic range of the camera, at the right exposure, you can create a linear graph of the raw data. But if you underexpose or overexpose this same image, the graph will not be linear and it is unlikely that software will be able to restore true linearity. End of subject.
    If you typically shoot JPG format, the histogram will accurately represent the image data. But clipping can still be from either gamut or exposure limits. If you typically shoot RAW format, the cameras histogram is only an approximation of what the final rendered image might look like. There is a significant amount of latitude provided by the RAW image editor. This is probably why you are shooting RAW in the first place.
    So, in closing, I am not saying that histograms are bad. They are part of a wonderful toolkit of digital image processing tools. I am saying ETTR is not a replacement for exposure metering. If you understand what the tone and color range of the scene is, you can evaluate the histogram much better. And if you master traditional photographic metering, you will capture it more accurately more often.
    I hope this clears up my previous statements on this subject. And I hope it explains why I think ETTR and linear capture are based more on technical theology than on technical fact.
    Cheers, Rags :-)

  • VOB converted to AVI audio files imported to premiere play in different order than the video files

    Hello there,
    I extracted the VOB files from a burned dvd created with Adobe Premiere pro 1.5, I converted the files into AVI files, then I imported it to Premiere CS4. The video sequence on the timeline plays in the correct order but a very fast speed, and the audio sequence plays all the individual clips in a random order, not in the order that they were originally edited in.
    What did I do wrong while importing or converting?
    Elio38

    Hi Elio,
    What program, or utility did you use to convert the .vob files to .avi, and what was your target codec?  I typically use SUPER Converter, which is free and very versatile, to convert program stream .vob files to a useable format that PPCS4 is compatible with. You can also directly import and edit a .vob file from a DVD in PPCS4 by simply changing the file extension to .mpg. However, doing so will eliminate the audio channel from the video clip in PPCS4.
    I was able to recreate what I believe was your issue when I tried converting a .vob file to an .avi file, regardless of what codec I used.  I had no issues what so ever when converting the .vob file to a .mov file using the DV codec, for example.  It could be a bug with PPCS4 because the same .avi file I created with the DV codec played back fine in WMPlayer, and VLC, but played back almost in slow motion in PPCS4.  It might be advantageous for you in the meantime to re-convert the .vob files to .mov files and just choose the standard DV codec.
    Remember, you are trying to edit files that are intended for delivery and that were not originally designed to be edited.  Attempting to edit inter-frame formats such as MPEG-2, MPEG-4, FLV, etc...has caused many a headache and even today, are not the easiest to work with.

  • How to generate & publish  webhelp html files in different folder than default folder

    Hi All,
    I am new to robo help. I have a requirement to generate & publish webhelp html files in a different folder than default folder.
    Could anyone please tell me the steps to change the folder
    Thanks
    Rashmi

    You change the generate folder and filename in the first field on the first page of the wizard. It must be a folder on your hard disk.
    You change the publish folder in the last page of the wizard. Anywhere you like.

  • HT201361 Is it possible to save the screenshot files to a different folder than desktop. How can I change the folder?

    Is it possible to save the screenshot files to a different folder than desktop (that is the default). How can I change the destination folder? Thank you, Sal

    To change the screenshot capture location to a new place on your Mac, first think of a location that would serve you properly. We like to place ours in a "Screenshot" folder located inside of the User's "Pictures" folder. To change the location to this new location, open the Terminal and enter the following command:
    defaults write com.apple.screencapture location /Users/[u]/Pictures/Screenshots/
    Replace "[u]" with the name of the user on your system. Once you have entered this command, let's restart the screen capture utility by restarting the SystemUIServer by entering the following command:
    killall SystemUIServer
    You can optionally log out and back in instead of entering this second command, thus restarting the SystemUIServer. Once restarted, all screen captures taken from here on out will end up in your /Pictures/Screenshots/ folder in the User's home folder on your Mac.

    Hi - for any photo, info in mountain lion shows a different file size than Photoshop does. I've tested with both CS3 and CS6 on 10.8.2 and get the same problem. This doesn't happen with CS3 and OSX10.4 or any previous versions of Photoshop and OSX. Anyone know why?

    this one is actually a really rare symptom of a flaky connection to the ipod on a Windows PC. there's more going on in terms of hardware on nanos and 5th gens than in the earlier models ... so if the connection is flaky to precisely the right/wrong degree, itunes will see the ipod, but misidentify it as an earlier version of ipod.
    tracking down the cause of the flakiness can be tricky ... as you already know ...
    just checking. have you tried connecting with a different (known-good) USB cable? does that seem to have any impact on the rate of occurence of the problem?

  • ORA-01189: file is from a different RESETLOGS than previous files

    Hi,
    I am trying to clone a database A from B.. the cloning is on the same server.. they are both oracle 8i databases... my OS is sun solaris 8...
    I followed the steps outlined in the following article:
    http://www.samoratech.com/TopicOfInterest/swCloneDB.htm
    Now, while creating the control file on target server, i am getting the erorr:
    CREATE CONTROLFILE SET DATABASE "GNXDBT02" RESETLOGS NOARCHIVELOG
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-01503: CREATE CONTROLFILE failed
    ORA-01189: file is from a different RESETLOGS than previous files
    ORA-01110: data file 40: '/dbase17/oradata/gnxdbt02/ts_objs_vlarge_06.dbf'
    It means that the file is from a time before a prev. resetlogs and hence is invalid.. I don't have a old copy of this file before prev. reset logs.. so in that case what options can i apply to open the DB and also not lost the data in that datafile?
    thx

    Hi,
    According to documentation:
    Cause: In a CREATE CONTROLFILE command, either this file or all previous
    files were backups from before the last RESETLOGS.
    This also may occur if this is a file that is offline and has been
    offline since before the last RESETLOGS.
    Action: If the file was taken offline normally before the last RESETLOGS and
    is still offline, omit it from the CREATE CONTROLFILE command.
    Rename and online the file after the database is open.
    Otherwise, find the version of the mentioned file consistent with the
    rest of the datafiles and retry the command.
    If is the case, you can try edit the CREATE CONTROLFILE script, omit the erroring datafile listed in the ORA-1110 error, from the CREATE CONTROLFILE script, rerun the CREATE CONTROLFILE script and after the database is open, rename and manually online the erroring datafile.
    Cheers

  • Produce 2 different xml files from the same PDF

    Hi all
    I need to produce a PDF document which will produce two different XML files depending upon which option ('file A' or 'file B') the user chooses.
    One file needs to capture most of the data from the PDF, the second file only needs to capture some of the data from the PDF.
    Is there a straightforward and efficient way of doing this (i am new to lifecycle)?
    Thanks

    LiveCycle will extract all bound data fields into the XML data. I don't believe that you can change data binding at run time. One thing you could do is to have a process that evaluates the data coming from the form by examining one of the fields. If the data matches a 'file A' type then just pass along the data. If it matches a 'file B' type then run an XSLT transformation to get the other form of the data.

  • Filename.xls is in a different format than specified by the file extension

    When I create Dimensions and then try to maintain dimension members using the administration client, I receive the following notification from Excel 2007.  The file you are trying to open, filename.xls, is in a different format that specified by the file extension.  Verify that the file is not corrupted and is from a trusted source before opening the file.  Do you want to open the file now?  Yes or No.
    I click yes and the file opens correctly in Excel.  If I click No, I get an "Unspecified error" dialog box from BPC.  I suspect this is a security feature in Excel 2007.  Has anyone else run across this and if so, know of a good way to disable this message?
    Adam

    After upgrading to Excel 2007, you may get the following error when you try to open an excel document.
    The file you are trying to open .xlsx is in a different format than specified by the file extension. verify the file is not corrupted and is from trusted source before opening the file. Do you want to open the file now?
    This errors particularly occurs when youu2019re trying to open an XLS file (Excel 2000-2003) with Excel 2007.
    The easiest way to solve this problem, is to insert the following registry key. This will suppress the notification:
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Excel\Security]
    u201CExtensionHardeningu201D=dword:00000000
    The step-by-step instructions are as follows:
    1.Click Start, click Run, type regedit.exe and press ENTER. This will open your Registry
    2.Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\OFFICE\12.0\EXCEL\SECURITY
    3.Right click in the right window and choose New -> DWORD
    4.In the Name field, type u201CExtensionHardeningu201C  (without the quotes)
    5.Verify that the data has the value u201C0u2033
    I advice the steps above to solve the problem, despite the fact that it is quick and dirty.

  • Some iTunes library files showing as an unknown file type - different files from same import...

    Haven't been able to find a similar problem on here, but apologies if this is a repetition of another discussion.
    Some of the files in my Itunes library popped up with the little exclamation mark next to them, so I attempted to locate them. It's been a patchy problem since transferring from PC to Mac, but has just been an issue of pointing Itunes to the right file.
    However, in this instance when I navigate through to the files in the folder they aren't showing as the same file type as the music that is playing in the library - I just get a blank page icon.
    What's confusing me is that these aren't different file types or from different sources. They're maybe 3 tracks out of a whole album that is playing fine, that were all ripped from the same CD at the same time.
    I've no idea why the Itunes is seeing some of these files differently. Any ideas?

    Looked at in the HD they're all showing as M4P. I'm sure it's the way the software is viewing the files, and not the files themselves. Itunes does offer to find the others, but then does a really crappy job of doing so - missing files in the same album in the same folder.
    I've cracked the original file problem by pointing Itunes to the files by going through the MacHD route, so now I'm just wrestling with thousands of missing files that I know are sitting right next to the files that aren't missing!
    I might just resign myself to ploughing through and fixing it, sorting the patchy artwork at the same time. If I do a purge at the same time I can convince myself that I'm not wasting my life!

  • Different File Types to Import - To Conver or not to convert?

    I have a project that I am dealing with which is requiring several different file types. Mainly .avi exported from VEGAS and footage ripped from a DVD.
    I have heard that it is best to use MPEG Streamclip to convert everything to a DVPro format (I am outputting in SD for broadcast) but wouldn't that just cause more compression?
    What is the best way to handle multiple file formats and the best output settings for broadcast when dealing with multiple formats? Thanks!

    The Avi's might work OK as they are, but the DVD footage has to go through MPEG streamclip. You might have to do this with the Avi's too, but not always... depends on the codec that was used to capture them in Vegas.
    Might try putting the AVI's in Compressor for the conversion if need be, as it might look a bit better in the end. But you've no choice with the files ripped from the DVD.

  • How to import data from a text file into a table

    Hello,
    I need help with importing data from a .csv file with comma delimiter into a table.
    I've been struggling to figure out how to use the "Import from Files" wizard in Oracle 10g web-base Enterprise Manager.
    I have not been able to find a simple instruction on how to use the Wizard.
    I have looked at the Oracle Database Utilities - Overview of Oracle Data Pump and the Help on the "Import: Files" page.
    Neither one gave me enough instruction to be able to do the import successfully.
    Using the "Import from file" wizard, I created a Directory Object using the Create Directory Object button. I Copied the file from which i needed to import the data into the Operating System Directory i had defined in the Create Directory Object page. I chose "Entire files" for the Import type.
    Step 1 of 4 is the "Import:Re-Mapping" page, I have no idea what i need to do on this page. All i know i am not tying to import data that was in one schema into a different schema and I am not importing data that was in one tablespace into a different tablespace and i am not R-Mapping datafiles either. I am importing data from a csv file.
    For step 2 of 4, "Import:Options" page, I selected the same directory object i had created.
    For step 3 of 4, I entered a job name and a description and selected Start Immediately option.
    What i noticed going through the wizard, the wizard never asked into which table do i want to import the data.
    I submitted the job and I got ORA-31619 invalid dump file error.
    I was sure that the wizard was going to fail when it never asked me into which table do i want to import the data.
    I tried to use the "imp" utility in command-line window.
    After I entered (imp), i was prompted for the username and the password and then the buffer size as soon as i entered the min buffer size I got the following error and the import was terminated:

    Please show me the easiest way to import a text file into a table. How complex could it be to do a simple import into a table using a text file?
    We are testing our application against both an Oracle database and a MSSQLServer 2000 database.
    I was able to import the data into a table in MSSQLServer database and I can say that anybody with no experience could easily do an export/import in MSSQLServer 2000.
    I appreciate if someone could show me how to the import from a file into a table!
    Thanks,
