In a fillable form, can I add a visible label to radio buttons? I'd like to label them 1, 2, 3, etc.

I'm creating a form that uses radio buttons. I'd like a number to be inside the button. Is there a way to add a label to the radio buttons?

It is not possible to customize the appearance of the radio button at this time. Your options only allow you to select the placement of the label.

Yes, one needs to use some custom JavaScript code to control the other fields' properties.

I made this with NI's radio button control found in the boolean palette. Just resize the cluster border, and move the buttons to where you want. To add a button, select one of them, hold down Control and Shift keys, then drag the button to a new location. The button gets duplicated. Do this until you have enough buttons.

When creating a fillable PDF form can I add a password to only selected fields?

I am creating a fillable form which will require data entry from several different people before being returned to my office. There are certain fields on the form that need to be restricted to personnel in my office only. I have tried to accomplish this restriction many different ways but have been unsuccessful.
The closest I have come to accomplishing this restriction is by adding a "For HRO Only" button which I can use to hide certain fields from personnel outside of my office and unhide the text field when the button is clicked. This would be perfect if I could add a password to the button. Unfortunately this is either not possible or I haven't figured out how to do it which means that personnel outside of my office can still access the fields with a click of a button.
The only other way I have thought of to accomplish this restriction is to mark those fields as "read only" but it seems as though it would be very time consuming for personnel in my office to complete the form due to the fact that they would have to open "edit form", open the properties for each field requiring their input, and uncheck "read only" for each one.
Any help/options/ideas you can provide will be greatly appreciate. Thank you!

Thank you so much for the quick response. This will be a huge help! I hate to be a bother, but can you tell me the steps to create the script or give me a reference/resouce to use? I have used adobe products quite a bit, but this is my first time creating a PDF Fillable Form that will be distributed for use by several people so I am a little lost.
Also, I seem to be running into one more problem that I am hoping you can help me figure out. On the form there is a question for the recipient to answer by checking one of two boxes, yes or no. Depending on the answer an action is initiated. This feature works perfectly, however the issue is that when the recipient choses "yes" he/she is directed to fill out four additional fields that I currently have set as "required", but when the recipient choses "No" the four additional fields are hidden yet still required. This becomes an issue when the recipient has completed the form and tries to submit the form. An error message pops up notifying the user there are required fields that are empty and must be completed before submission.
My thought is (in a perfect world) one of these two options would be ideal:
1. When the "No" option is chosen the four additional fields are changed from required to not required, or
2. When the "No" option is chose the four additional required fields are autopopulated with NA.
Either remedy would work just fine, however I am open to suggestions... Again thank you so much for your help with my previous question and thank you in advance for any information/help/advice you can provide in regards to my second question.

Please also indicate the exact symptoms in Reader, and which version of Reader, rather than replying on everyone getting the same results as you.

I can't see my old list of bookmarks (they vanished) and nor can I add new bookmarks, plus my 'back' button wont work, i have to press backspace! WHY?!

I had an awesome list of my bookmarks before and one day all but three vanished. I don't remember updating or installing anything new. Anyway, I tried to import bookmarks from a few days before and then they all disappeared! Now I can't add any new ones at all. not only that but my back and forwards buttons don't work (aka they don't go blue when I go from site to site on the one tab if you understand what I'm saying?)
Can anyone help me get my list of bookmarks back at least?

I'm developing an app and in order to make it work, i need to add a function to the Home button when the user is in a specific screen.

I would not say "impossible", but certainly not an app that would ever be available via the iTunes App Store.

Where can I find and include the "record" radio buttons in Logic 9?

Ok, I feel like a real dummy but for some reason when I installed the Logic 9 upgrade (upgraded from Logic 8) all the "record" radio buttons on the audio channel strips were missing. (They are there on the instrument channel strips.) Can anyone tell me how to get them back? I checked all the preferences I could find but somehow I'm not finding the one that will get me back my "record" radio buttons.

They should be there on both. Only frozen SI tracks loose theirs (obviously), but my question earlier is irrelevant: even with no input selected there still ought to be a record button on the track header.
OP: have you looked at the configuration of the track header? ctrl-click in it to find out.

Enter Person Form - Can't add Assignment

I am using EBS 12.1.3 and I am having a problem setting up an assignment for a rehired Employee.
I am using the 'Enter Person' (PERWSEMP) form and have modified the beginning employment date for one of our users to 'rehire' him. That worked fine. However, when I click the 'More' button and go to the 'Assignment' tab, all the field on that tab are protected/disabled. I don't know what causes these fields to be disabled for this user. The fields on this tab are open and updateable for all other users in our system. Can anyone point me to what might be causing these fields to be disabled for this user?

Fillable Form: Can completed form be automatically sent to more than one person?

I have a form that, when completed, I need to have sent to me and to one other person upon completion.
It works when I put in just one email address but I would like to add a second. Is there a specific format that I need to follow or a setting that I need to change? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

At this point, I think I’ve done what you’ve directed. However, when I test it, the people that are supposed to get the form get a message telling them they have to search for the information. The email has a .fdf file with no data. It is when they try to open this that they are directed to search for the file.
The process I have completed is:
                -I have made my fields
                -I’ve added a button with the mailto: option (sending to two different people with a ; separating them)
                -I’ve saved my changes and opened the form on a computer without Adobe Acrobat Pro (only my computer has it)
                -I fill in the document and click the send button (using Microsoft Outlook to send the email)
                -It opens like an email should, the document is attached and I send it
                -At this point, the recipient cannot open it
Am I missing something in the save process? Should I be exporting it? Do I need to go in and change some preferences? I apologize for being a complete moron with this…

User Defined Object Default Form - Can't add record

Hi,
I have created a user defined object on a Master Data Table with acccompanying Rows table.
For some reason I can't get any records in the Master table. SBO claims the operation (save) was succesfull however the table remains empty and the line I entered gets cleared!
I'm running SBO2005ASP01PL07 so I don't think I'm missing any updates.
Anyone have an idea as to what''s wrong?

For those that encounter the same problem.
A tool from a third party had made a small change in the SBO_SP_TransactionNoticfication stored-procedure,
This change produced an error when a transaction was done on a UDO becuase the object type of an UDO is NOT numeric but contains the name of the UDO.
The adjustment made assumed Object_Type was allways numeric wich it is NOT.
An error occured, resulting in SBO rolling back the entire transaction.
Simple adjustment:
If isnumeric(@object_type) = 1

How can you add your own print and export buttons to the CR viewer toolbar?

I posted a previous question that was asking how to get around the Information Bar in IE7 when you export and print. Unfortunately the CR viewer file download code gets blocked by IE7 because the buttons don't directly download the file. However, I have been able to get a regular button that calls the following code and streams the file to the client and IE7 does not block it.

1. Is it possible to add a custom print control/icon to the CR viewer toolbar?

It might be possible to replace the buttons in a windows app since you can retrieve the toolbar as a toolbar object in the winform viewer ( ToolStrip toolBar = (ToolStrip) crystalReportViewer1.Controls[3]; ) however with a web app, it's a lot more difficult.
The problem is that that you need to parse the Request string to try and figure out if the print / export button was clicked. The code below makes the print button disappear if you click it, so you should be able to modify it to call your custom printing / exporting code instead (You have to do this check in a postback)

Can i add a print command to a button in InDesign?

I would like to create a button that will send the document to print.
I am creating an interactive PDF from InDesign CS5 (full screen view). it is a 50 page document with links and buttons.
I would like to be able to create a button which will send the document to print.
I know the commnd/ctrl P does the job, but my client insists (long story).
...and while we're at it: is there a way to "PRINT THIS PAGE ONLY" too?

Regarding the final PDF you produce with the Print button; when the user hits the Print button the usual printer dialogue box is launched and s/he can select which pages he wants to print and the number of copies. I think this is what you said this is what your customer wants.
Note: when you add the Print button, within the Acrobat Forms facility, you then go to Button Properties dialogue box and select Actions, select the trigger (i.e. On Mouse Down); Add an Execute a menu Item, click on Add and select File > Print from the drop-down list. A bit complicated to explain here, but easier enough if you have a play around with it. Acrobat Forms are a wonderful facility – well worth exploring the many things you can do with them. Especially if you set up your document first in InDesign!
