In att yahoo mail my left column with the inbox ,etc extends the width of page and I can't bring it back to the left.
in the new version of att yahoo mail that I have been using for weeks for some reason the left column which shows inbox etc extends the width of a page and I am not able to see the emails. I cannot pull the column back to the left. If I switch to ATT yahoo classic it is fine, but not in the newer ATT yahoo mail.

I had Copernic Desktop Search installed with an add in to Firefox. On removing CDTS it has left the add-in and the remove button is inactive ie greyed out and I can not delkete it or see the folder in the extensions. Help appreciated to get rid of it.
uninstalled firefox ....deleted all files still remaining under mozilla firefox directory in program files ... to avoid having to reprogram all my settings, reisntall all addons as well .. I did not remove anything from mozilla firefox that is stored in either appdata or under the windows users directory (if any)
... the as suggested reinstalled the latest version of the firefox browser using the link you provided in the email ..; tested and several issues still remain present and unresolved ....
so please this is urgent or I will have to jump browsers and start using chrome .. because we work 14 hours a day 6 (sometimes 7) days a week, to get ready for the launch of our newest venture and we cannot lose that much days on browser related issues ... so please instead of putting me through week long step process .. of do this .. do that .. can you please actually look into the issue from your end .. I use firefox for so many, many years thta I deserve this kind of support .. thnx Robert -
When I cull through my images in the filmstrip everytime I use my right arrow and rate a photo it jumps back to the first thumbnail and i have to arrow all the way back to where I left off. Is this a setting issue

I am trying to follow your very precise steps, and in my case (PSE11 also, Win7), the focus stays on the edited picture after I return from the editor to the Organizer. I am pretty sure that in the previous post describing your situation, I was able to reproduce the problem, but I don't remember on which version. I just tried in 'Folders' view mode to edit in a selected folder, then I clicked 'All media' so that no folder was selected. Same result in both cases.
Even if you prefer to work in folders view, you could take advantage of the ability to use 'albums'. It's a misleading word to describe a selection, a 'collection' of pictures, which you can sort as you want. It's a kind of 'playlist' like with music items. In the organizer, you can select a folder and create an album (even a temporary one) just by choosing 'create instant album'. Suppose you have made an album from a folder or a selection of highlighted pictures to edit. You can order them in date order, import batch or 'custom' order'. Since PSE12 you can also sort them in filename order. You should never lose the 'focus' on your last edited picture when coming back from the editor to the organizer. If the purpose of that album is only to help in organizing an editing session, you simply delete the album (the playlist) if you don't want to keep the list afterward.
I hope someone will be able to confirm how that can happen...

The mail screen on my iPad 4 all of a sudden went from the normal horizontal format to a vertical format, and I can't change it back. Help!
You should really start a new discussion because many times people will not even look at a solved post. It's one thing if you read the post and the solution works for you, but to add onto a solved post, especially when you have a different problem than the original person that posted, you might not get the help that you need.
I will give it a try. Close the iBooks app and reboot the iPad.
Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -

Thanks for the reply, The files are on a DVD disk. I coverted my family VHS tapes to digital dvds using an HP Media Centre PC five or more years ago cant remember the program but if I get info on the disk ,on the Mac it tells me the extension is IDI_DVD.

Hello: this is my first post,hope I am doing it properly.
I am using W7pro OS and ATT DSL 3.0Mbps dl
I noticed this week that I was unable to save attachments from my ATT Yahoo mail I could view them but no choice as to ware to save them--only choice (save to my comp.)But no ware to be found.
I reinstalled v 36.0.4-preventing auto upgrade-But still had same problem.
At this point contacted ATT support supervisor-we spent about 4hr working on problem--He was using your v 31.5.0--and had no problem accessing and saving attachments using remolt access on my comp.
We also found using my comp.FF v 36.0.4 & v 37.0.2 browser,that we could without any problems access an save attachments--AOL mail-- & mail2web.--& IE--Even when forwarding inaccessible mail to above sites.
He informed me that (ATT mail Yahoo)only uses resources to make them compatible with--Google IE & Chrome &Apple? (basically he was saying,that they would NOT commit resources to FF--any version)BUT he was not allowed to commit.
PS: The last time I know it worked ok was 3-18-15 I have 3 comp.2 wxp pro 1 w7 pro the same problem on all 3--so feel confident not OS related-but compatible problems with FF & yahoo mail.
The ATT support supervisor-was unable to determined the date they may have made changes on their site.without extensive research-which we decided wasn't worth the effort as they wouldn't look in to it.
I hope someone or FF will be able find a workaround-as I do not want to use the browsers they suggest. I LOVE FF.

Firefox does not display the mail on att/yahoo mail page
How can I restore the display showing my mail? I am using Firefox with Yahoo mail. For some reason it appears that the margins have disappeared and now only the first column (i.e., the column showing the "Inbox", "Contacts" and "Folders") is displayed. Nothing happens when I click on the "inbox" icon; the mail is not displayed.

== two weeks agoI have been having this problem too of late. Buttons on the top of the inbox view are not showing up. And most painful is that the body of emails are not showing up.
I checked my IE view settings to compare them to my Firefox settings and they are equivalent (i.e., using UTF-8). On a whim, I switched my Yahoo mail to the "all new Yahoo mail" and the problem went away. Switched back to Yahoo mail classic and the problem comes right back.
So it could be a Firefox thing OR it could be precipitated by Yahoo. -
Downloaded Firefox 4.0, to Dell Lat D630 on 4/9/11
Get server error 404 & can't access Yahoo mail.

No resolution to the access problem today 4/21/11. Do I reinstall 3.6 & delete 4.0? I understand this access problem is common to 4.0 users.I did some additional testing through Proxy 4. All web sites and web pages including secure sites that I tried accessing over the past couple of days all appear to work fine with the exception of the forementioned sites. Access to these specific web pages (which I cannot currently access) are part of our day-to-day business requirements, and therefore will prevent me from using Proxy version 4.0 as our production proxy unless I can figure out why these web pages won't load, and how to fix the problem.
As an experiment, I tried to access these web pages through Proxy 4 with Mozilla FireFox and Netscape 7. None of these web browsers (including Internet Explorer) will bring up these web pages when going through Proxy 4. But bypassing the proxy or going through our v3.6 proxy works fine for these web pages everytime, and with all browsers. This leads me to believe that this web page access problem is not a browser specific problem, but something in Proxy 4 isn't processing the request to display the page properly.
As a reference, the web site in question is http://www.sunlife.ca. On the left hand side of the page go to "Sign In" then "Plan Members". Thats where the request hangs through Proxy 4 no matter which browser I use, including Netscape... but works perfectly fine with Proxy v3.6.
Can someone who is running a version 4 Proxy also please try to access the SunLife Members login page and see if it works or fails for you?

on att yahoo mail when i want to move message to a folder i click on move and for a split second it shows my folders but then it fades away i am not having this problem on internet explorer or google chrome i use firefox always but when i want to move a message to my folders i have to go to internet explorer or google chrome

last week my phone was automatically updated after a trip to Europe, now I can no longer access gmail because the browser capability for cookies has been turned off and I can NOT get it back on. Before the trip bluetooth was on partially working with my car and now since the newest update works no more in any form. Anyone else having these problems? Need help!!
As far as automatic update, the iOS cannot be updated without user intervention, so it could not have been automatically updated.
You need to provide more information about your mail. Does this mean you cannot access the Mail app, you cannot download mail, or what? Not sure why you cannot access the cookies setting in Safari. Go to Settings>Safari>Block Cookies>set to what you want.
Problems with 3rd party Bluetooth devices, such as car audio, etc., generally has to do with vehicle manufacturers not providing updates to match the current Bluetooth stacks that are found in today's phones. You can go into the phone and remove the pairing for the car, and then go into car settings and remove the iphone. Then put both devices back into pairing mode and attempt to connect them again. Frustrating that either my mac can communicate with iCloud alone or my iphone , But the information on my calendar is not merging! My password on my yahoo account is according to icloud wrong , but it isn't ! Only pages and other apps could be passed to the i phone . The local store says I should pay for them solving the problem . I doubt they will listen to all the aspects before I search again and again (and pay again and again??) Allready been there many times, downloaded many things!!
She was as frustrated as I and was going to kick the problem "upstairs." She felt that by now iCloud had been out long enough for them to have resolved the issues without having to resort to fixes from the outside (so in essence, I would have to say that she agrees with you that they should be able to provide a resolution for their own software).
I have more than just that issue on my MBP (iPhoto keeps asking me to "upgrade" everytime I open it, old Safari windows open when I restart or turn the machine on from a shutdown....I think it's possessed. I'm able to do everything that I want to do, but it's very annoying....) and so I'll be working with her again when she returns to work on Monday. I do have to say that she doesn't rush and has spent at a minimum 2 hours each night for the last 2 nights with me over the phone (talk about califlower ear!)
She had me do a reinstall of Lion last night and as far as I can tell, it fixed nothing.... -
In Yahoo Mail, when composing an email I get an "Asking to leave this page" panel; it does not matter whether i choose stay or leave, the panel pops up again....and again...the only way out is to Force Quite Firefox and start all over...help please...
Thanks for responding....but isn't your potential solution designed for Windows users? I have a Mac.
If it does apply to Mac, I am also hoping for something simpler as this could take weeks to isolate the problem and it would be more efficient to use another browser for mail

I have a customized Yahoo home page which opens when I log on.
Whenever I move to the Yahoo mail, I have to "sign in" with Yahoo in order to get back to the customized Yahoo home page. I don't mind doing that when I use the Yahoo mail system, but recently, whenever I switch from FireFox to another browser, when I return to Firefox, I am returned to the Yahoo general page and I have to "sign in" to get back to the customized version of my home page.Remember History
