In ColdFusion 10 Java integration, app-context.xml cannot be found in the classpath

I have jars and dependencies from a vendor Java library that I wanted to use in my new CF10 environment, however the Hibernate/Spring dependencies of the library conflict with those within CF10 itself.  To work around that, I had hoped to use javasettings in an Application.cfc to prioritize the library with the classloader, but the Spring classpath resolver seems to be unable to find a META-INF/spring/app-context.xml in the classpath even though it is within the jar.

Can anyone shed some light on why CF can't find this resource?
Thanks,

  • The mapping: XML_NV you are trying to load cannot be found in the classpath

    Hi Experts,
We have a EDI to JDBC scenario wherein the incoming EDI files (ANSI X12) will picked up by XI and sends to Backend system and it was working fine. Today when i check the file folder, the EDI files are not picking up by XI system and when I check the Communication channel the below is the error message. Can anybody let me know how to workaround for this issue?

Maybe you forgot to compile or to activate the mapping!
    Your help is highly appreciated.

    Dear Abdul
If the mapping is there and the PI system is throwing an error that "Mapping not Found" then please try refreshing the cache.
First try Partial and if it does'nt work then go for Full Cache Refresh.
Alternatively if yours is a Java mapping, try relading the code (zip file) and activate the channel.

  • How to deploy the J2EE samples?? common.xml cannot be found

    Hi folks,
I recently downloaded the J2EE packages and installed them successfully I think (Servlets and JSPs are presented correctly)...now I want to test the samples, that one can download from sun, because I want to find out more about ejbs and jms...
...I followed the instructions of the /docs-diractory in the samples, but I always encounter a problem, that the file common.xml cannot be found...
Here is exactly what I do:
-set the PATH environment variable to the /bin-
    directory of the J2EE server
-go to the /src-directory of the sample
    - run asant
==>then comes the error, that the file common.xml
cannot be found, which is not astonishing
because there is not such a file in the
sample' s directory.....and I do not what this file
is good for....and what structure it has...
What is my mistake?? Do I have to copy the sample-directories to a certain directory of the server???
    Thanks for any help...Bye

The file common.xml is found in the directory Sun\AppServer\samples after you've installed the sun sample application server.
One thing that surely works is if you copy all samples into this directory and use asant to build them from there.

    Yours,

I had the same issue and managed to fix it.
I am using tomcat and had a filter configured for AxisServlet to open a hibernate Session. Somehow (I did not figure it out yet) this filter afects the way the AxisServlet resolves the EPR.
My fix was - remove the filter. It worked. Now I am trying to figure out why.
If you have any clues, please drop a line.

  • I deleted iTunes when it said "iTunes could not back up iPhone because the backup could not be saved on the computer"and now it wont let me install it again and keeps saying "itunes cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in the cabinet "

iTunes told me to delete my backup folder when I was having problems syncing my phone to my computer. After that it wouldn't work at all. After trying and trying I deleted iTunes when it said "iTunes could not back up iPhone because the backup could not be saved on the computer"and now it wont let me install it again and keeps saying "itunes cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in the cabinet ". What the **** itunes? Nothing is working!!
I wanted to update my iTunes so I could sync my phone to my computer and update my phones software so I can use the latest apps that need a 4.2 or higher.
This is not fun for me so if anyone knows what I can do to fix this please help. Is it possible to download the "cabinent file" with the lastest iTunes?
    Thank you.
    -Kait
My phone is the iPhone4 and my computer is a Windows Vista

I doubt that corrupt files are the problem. It is more likely a space or permissions issue. Is the hard-drive on which iTunes is stored close to capacity? Do you (or the particular user profile you have logged on with) have the requisite permissions to save to that drive?
Otherwise, do you get an error code? This might point us in the right direction.

    Hi,
please explicitly "make" the project. One reason for this problem could be that the model.cpx isn't created properly. Select the model project and compile the complete project before deploying it. Sometimes it helps to clear the "class" directory of the project on teh file system before re-compiling

    Thanks, steve

Adding the dependency in the ViewController fixed this for me.
I'm using two AppModules in the controller and the second one wasn't being picked up.
I was able to fix this by:
Go to the Project Properties, select Dependencies, edit the Dependent Projects and Archives, find the model that's failing and add a tick in the Build Output box.
The model should now be picked up in the ViewController's DataBindings.cpx source file, though I did have to restart JDev for this to be picked up.

    I found this on Metalink...
    JBO-26001: NoXMLFileException
Cause: Could not open the named XML file for read.
The following is from Note 137429.1. Hope this helps.
    Raja.
    JBO-26001: NoXMLFileException
Cause: Could not open the named XML file for read.
Action: 1. Make sure that the file is present. In particular, if the file is to be found in a zip/jar file, make sure that the Zip/JAR file is included in the CLASSPATH.
    2. This error is also reported if the name of the XML file does not match the object Name specified in the XML file. If the file system support case insensitive file names (e.g., Windows NT), make sure that the file name matches the object Name in the XML file in case-sensitive fashion.
    3. For a .JPX file, this error is reported if the JPX file is missing the JboProject XML tag. Check the JPX file to make sure that the valid tag is in there.
    4. One XML file may be extending another XML file (specified by the Extends element in this XML file). This error is reported if the base XML file is not found.

  • The specified store provider cannot be found in the configuration?

I got the error "The specified store provider cannot be found in the configuration, or is not valid"
    while excuting the following command:
    E:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\EdmGen.exe /nologo /language:CSharp
    /mode:ViewGeneration /inssdl:$(TargetDir)Entities.ssdl
    /incsdl:$(TargetDir)Entities.csdl /inmsl:$(TargetDir)Entities.msl
    /outviews:$(ProjectDir)Entities.Views.cs
this is to pre_generate views to improve Entity framework performance, itruns well for SqlServer.
What is the issue? I checked in machine.config, it seems ok:
    <DbProviderFactories>
    *<add name="Oracle Data Provider for .NET" invariant="Oracle.DataAccess.Client" description="Oracle Data Provider for .NET" type="Oracle.DataAccess.Client.OracleClientFactory, Oracle.DataAccess, Version=4.112.3.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89b483f429c47342"/>*
    <add name="Microsoft SQL Server Compact Data Provider" invariant="System.Data.SqlServerCe.3.5" description=".NET Framework Data Provider for Microsoft SQL Server Compact" type="System.Data.SqlServerCe.SqlCeProviderFactory, System.Data.SqlServerCe, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89845dcd8080cc91"/>
    </DbProviderFactories>

    Hey,
Can you check if the line: DbProviderFactory factory = DbProviderFactories.GetFactory("Oracle.DataAccess.Client"); works in a simple console app?
I had the same problem when I had installed both x86 and x64 versions of ODAC. There are two workarounds for x86&x64 issue here[http://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/details/728483/edmgen-4-0-with-oracle11g-dac-win-7-x64] .

    All,
I have a solution developed in Visual Studio 2012 targetting .Net 4.0. Simplified: Startup project is a WPF library and supporting this library is another project that uses Entity Framework to retrieve data. I have copied the connection strings from my EF project to my startup project, and everything seems to work fine on the development machine.
However, as sson as this project is run on a user's desktop they get the error:
    System.ArgumentException
The specified store provider cannot be found in the configuration, or is not valid.

I've already verified that Oracle.DataAccess is referenced in my EF project, and I'm including oci.dll, orannzsbb11.dll, oraociei11.dll, and OraOps11w.dll in my main library (fat installation).
This configuration worked when using the older ADO.Net DataSets, but now I want to use EF 4.4 (DataBase first/model first/whatever it's not Code First) because it's just easier to code against. So obviously I'm missing something when it comes to deploying my solution. Any ideas?
Note that this is a desktop application using MS OneClick.

    Same issue:
The specified store provider cannot be found in the configuration, or is not valid. ---> System.ArgumentException: Unable to find the requested .Net Framework Data Provider. It may not be installed.
You mention "Sounds like the client system doesn't have an Oracle client installed."
I am using Win Server 2008 R2. I have installed what i think is the right client. How do i tell?
What is the right client? Where do i get it?

  • JBO-33001: Configuration file /oracle/apps/crmCommon/activities/activityManagementService/applicationModule/common/bc4j.xcfg is not found in the classpath.

I am trying to consume a base model which is available in the Customer.jws (AppCmmnCompActivitiesPublicModelActivityManagement) to my Mobile UI project available in Sales.jws (SalesMobilePublicUi). We have added proper Databindings.cpx entry for accessing the applicationModule present in the model.
On deploying the sales mobile app, I get the following ConfigException:
JBO-33001: Configuration file /oracle/apps/crmCommon/activities/activityManagementService/applicationModule/common/bc4j.xcfg is not found in the classpath.
The bc4j.xcfg mentioned in the above path actually contains the entry. On checking about this issue, I found out that the prominent solution would be model project should be added as Dependencies to the UI project. But the UI is in different workspace (Sales.jws) and so the list of dependencies shown are those of this workspace only, whereas the model is present in Customer.jws and it does not come under the dependencies list.
How can this issue be resolved? Please let me know any pointers on solving this issue.

Build an adfLibrary from the model in the Customers.jws and add this adfLibrary to the other ui project. This will get you the dependency.
    Timo
