Error deploying Human Task Projects

I am having some problems with the deployment of Human Task ADF Projects to the SOA Server.
I've managed to deploy other ADF applications, however when I try to deploy a generated ADF Project for a BPEL Human Task I get the following error:
     Weblogic Server Exception: weblogic.application.WrappedDeploymentException
Does anyone know what could be the cause of it?
I am using Jdeveloper 11g r1 (11.1.1.2.0) and SOA Server 11g (11.1.1.1.0) and WebLogic 11g R1 (10.3.1).
Thanks

Below is the domain log, after trying with JDeveloper 11.1.1.0 (Same version as SOA server)

    Tom....

For deploying a bpel with human task, you need a bpel engine. oc4j_soa instance has the BPEL engine. Thats why.

  • Instructions to deploy human task forms into production environments

What is the easiest way to deploy BPEL human task forms into a production environment? Can we use ant? Where can I find the document?

What do you mean by "a while"? I gave it quite a bit of time, at least 10 minutes. I'm not quite sure how to reference the different views, so we are talking about the same thing. So let me try to explain what I did.
From the Console home I click on the project I am interested in which gets me to the
project home with components listed (BPELProcess and Humantask) and instance IDs below. I click on the instance I want to see and get the
Flow Trace page. I then click on the BPELProcess to get the
    Instance Detail page.
The first time I went thru this sequence BPELProcess and Humantask where both "running" on the Flow Trace page and on the Instance Detail page I get what I expect "waiting for 'onTaskCompleted'
    After responding to the task:
I get "Completed Successfully" for the BPELProcess on the Flow Trace page. Even after several minutes and starting up the console from the start again, when I went to the Instance Detail page it still showed "waiting for 'onTaskCompleted' both on the Audit tab and the Flow-Debug tab. The Instance Detail for the Humantask showed Intitated, Outcome Updated and Completed.
    Hope this is clearer.
Interestingly enough, I just went back to be sure I was naming everything correctly for this reply and found that the BPELProcess detail for that same instance now shows detail to completion. Now this is a few hours later and the server has gone down and restarted 2 or 3 times with errors. I'll start another thread with the errors so any response doesn't get lost within human task.

  • Human Task form deployment issue

    Dear Experts,
How to deploy Human Task form WAR file to the BPEL OC4J container through SOA em console. I have viewed through em console but i cant see any option for (war or ear ) work flow deployment. Please suggest.
    Thanks
    Rajesh A

That i understood, depends upon client's request we are going to deploy. But i'm concerning my case here. To run a sample application whether it is enough to deploy both bpel process & Human task work floe form from JDeveloper or I have to use SOA server suite.
Even I'm trying to deploy the whole Bpel process (includes both process & form) from JDeveloper to BPEL PM Server. I am getting following errors.

  • Invoking Web Service from BPEL PM Human Task

    Hello,
I have done the following tasks
Create a BPel PM , Add a Human task and customized it.
Create a Web service Proxy and Generate a Jar File from that classes like "wsCallRegions.jar".
First issue : Where can i put my Jar File ? i don't have any WEB-INF\lib directories to add this Jar to my Webcontent on the human Task.
Second Issue : I imported the library and all dependencies Using Jdev / import Libraries tool. But when i try to call this Web service in my Paylod-body.jsp say it does´t find the class of WS that i´m using ( I can rebuild it with no errors and deploy it to the server ), this just happen when load the payload-body.jsp page customized.
How can i make my ant deployment description to load a Lib directories or add this jar to my human task customized ??
can somebody help me please ?
    Many Thank,
    Vitor

The problem is that now, with Weblogic Server the project is divided in two...
And the import goes with the BPEL.JAR and not with EAR files to Weblogic SoaDomain.
Someone knows where I can find some documentation about this issue ? This maybe could be a "bug" when deploying Human Tasks to Weblogic Appserver ?
    Thanks

  • Location workflow task project

    Hi All,
When we deploy a BPEL project with humantask.
Can anybody please let me know where does(path on file location) my human task project files goes or gets deployed ?
I see following types of files for human task BPEL project
    Footer1.jsp
    Header1.jsp
    payload-body.jsp
    <task name >.jsp

  • Advance Rules for routing in Oracle BPM Human Task

    Hi,
I am working on SOA 11.1.1.5.0. I have created a sample SOA application with a Human Task.
following are the Assignment details for my Human Task.
    1. Created a stage1
    2. Created a participant with following details
    Type = Single
Build a list of participant using : ApproverGroup
    Specify attribute using : Rule-Based
    List Ruleset : SampleRuleset
I have created some Advance Rules for routing as specified at http://www.orastudy.com/oradoc/selfstu/fusion/integration.1111/e10224/bp_hwfmodel.htm#BABGJGBD .Routing is perfectly working in my application.
But when I login into WorklitApplication via weblogic user and accessed Administration link, under Task Configuration > Data Driven tab these Routing Rules are not appearing, however I can see this SampleRuleset there.
I want to know whether these Routing Rules will be appeared in the WorklistApplication or not?
    regards,

    Hi,
Concerning your first question the answer is yes, you can share the same UI with various Human Tasks. Assuming that your discriminator flag is the human task type, then you can create for example a taskflow parameter, pass this value and based on this value hide and show fields. You will have to bundle your UI project as an ADF shared library and attach it to each Human Task project that you would like to use it, drag and dropping the taskflow as a region (please have in mind that your taskflow pages definition should be set to fragments).
For you second question, again the answer is yes. This is an out-of-the-box functionality provided by the auto-generated human task. There is a section called history that holds and displays all this information.
For the third point, again the answer is yes. What you can do is that you can enable the OnTaskCompleted event so that whenever a participant complete their task to generate an event. Then you can have a mediator or a BPEL process that can subscribe to this event and process the notification.
For question 4 i don't think that is possible (out of the box). You will have to write like a proxy service that will fetch this additional information from your LDAP server and map it to your participants list.
Question 5, the organizational chart allows you to define the structure and hierarchy of your organization (users, groups, application roles) which can be used in your business processes to define your various approval types.
For you last question, the shared flag is used for to define whether your logical roles (also called application roles) should be specific to a process or can be shared across processes.
    Regards
    Antonis

What I suggest is go into EM and undeploy this composite and all versions. (Only if you don't want the existing ones). Then redeploy your process. This will avoid the version conflict and create a new version. 1.0. Then the next time you try and deploy you need to either specify a new version or check the box to say the version can be over written.
    cheers

  • Unable to deploy BPM projects with human tasks from BPC

I’m trying to edit and deploy a BPM process from Business Process Composer (web based tool). To do it, I followed the steps below:
    1.     I created I project in JDeveloper
    2.     I created the Human task from using the “Auto-generate task form” option
    3.     I converted it to a template
    4.     I published it to BPM MDS
    5.     On Business Process Composer I created I new project based on my published template
    6.     And I finally I deployed it with no errors.
When I ran the BPM it creates I human task but I’m not able to access its form on Business Process Workspace.
On Business Process Workspace I can see the task created by my BPM process, but when I click on it to access its form I get a 404 message (message below).
    Error 404--Not Found
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
    10.4.5 404 Not Found
The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.
If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.
I think this error occur because my Task form project was not deployed. To fix it I undeployed all the applications and then I deployed the BPM application with all its tasks forms from JDeveloper. It worked fine (I can actually access the task form on Business Process Workspace), but now I’m not able to edit the BPM process on Business Process Composer anymore.
Then I finally repeated the steps 3 to 6 on top of this post in order to make the BMP process editable on Business Process Workspace but this time I receive the error at the end of this post taken from server log.
No matters if I publish the project on MDS BMP repository as a template project or as non template project. I always have the same problem.
So, how can I use a BPM project that contains Human Tasks forms on Business Process Composer?
    I’m using:

I came across the same issue, and now resolved it like this.
Firstly, you shouldn't deploy QuoteProcessLab with other UILabs like ApproveDealUILab and so on. So, if you already did it, then go to Weblogic EM and undeploy it.
Secondly, you should deploy each of UILab separately as standalone application. So, deploy EnterQuiteUILab, BUsinessPracticesUILab, and so on each. These will run independently behind and when your project created based on template in the Composer runs, it will link each of these on human task.
Thirdly, publish you QuoteProcessLab. And follow the book about how to create a project based on template in the Composer.
Just one thing you should be careful with is, when you do auto-generation for human task, it sometimes doesn't work fully, unfinished halfway through. So, make sure that the icon 'go to existing business form taskflow' in .task file takes you to the human taskflow.
If it fails, do another auto-generation. Sometimes DataBindings.cpx can get corrupted by JDev, but let's not go too far for now.
    Mostly, it will work.

  • BPM 11g deployment error when include Human Task

During deployment, when I include a Human Task in my BPM 11g project, the deployment fails.  The error message in JDeveloper is:

Caused by: weblogic.common.ResourceException: weblogic.common.ResourceException: Could not create pool connection. The DBMS driver exception was: [unixODBC][Driver Manager]Data source name not found, and no default driver specified
If I don't include the Human Task application in deployment, it's fine.  I used the Auto Create feature to generate the ADF project/form.  I've deleted and recreated the Human Task, but that hasn't helped.
What can cause this error?  I've googled for days, but have not found anything similar.

Kunwar - Thank you very much for your reply.  I checked in EM under Applications, and there is no application with the name of my Human Task application that is part of my BPM project.  To be sure, I just rebooted the server and checked again, but it is not there, and the reboot did not solve the problem.
I'm not sure if this is related to the problem, but here is some other information.  A few days ago when I tried to redeploy just the BPM project (keeping save revision, and checking "Overwrite any existing composites"), I received a null pointer exception error.  Since then, I must Undeploy the BPM Application using EM to then redeploy it using JDeveloper.  Here is the error I was getting:

The requested URL /default/FridayMorning/1.0/HumanTask1/HumanTask1.jsp was not found on this server.
I have tried this on multiple SOA Suite server machines, one with only one domain, and one with multiple domains, and have also tried developing the project on different JDevelopers on different machines, with the same result.
I could not find the JSP registered anywhere on the AS Control. I understand they are meant to be deployed under orabpel?
The BPEL Suitcase does not contain any jsp files, and in the output directory, there is a .jsps folder which contains the java and class files that relate to the JSPs.
    To recreate:
    Open JDev
    Create a new application
    Create a new BPEL project
Drop a Human Task into the process
    Give it a name
Click on the magic wand to define the task
    Give it a name
Click on the + to add a parameter, select the payload of inputVariable
Click on the + to add someone to route to, pick a user
    Save
    Close Human Task
    Save process
In the Applications Navigator, expand the project, right click on the HumanTask folder and select Auto Generate Simple Task Form
    Save all
    Build all
    Deploy to BPEL server
Go to BPEL console, start the process
Go to BPEL worklist, select the task
    The error appears.
We have also tried using custom JSPs (instead of simple ones).
Also, I noticed that if you delete task form files from the popup menu, and then regenerate them, you only get the .tform file, no JSPs are generated.
Can anyone else verify this happens to them?
    Thanks,
    Mark Nelson

OCMS stands for Oracle Communication and Mobility Server and is basically a SIP Container embedded as a hook into OC4J 10.1.3.1. I'm using JDK 1.5.0_12-b04. Wondering if there's any other way to check configuration of the JSP compiler.
    Thanks for your help,
    Adam

could you please check in log file what error thrown during deployment. paste logs here in thread.
Also, try to deploy only BPEL composite; you can deploy the task-form separately.

  • Process with Human Task (Deployment problem)

    Hi Every1,
I'm a rookie BPEL developer who ran into a problem. I'm using a separate machine as SOA server, because I couldn't install it on my dev machine for some unknown reason. In the beginning, after setting up the necessary connection settings in Jdev everything worked fine. But when I use a Human task in my process flow and auto generate a task form for it then I can't deploy my process to the server anymore. I've found this problem in other topics, but none of the solutions worked in my case. There are mainly two reasons mentioned: 1. RMI settings - Tried to set it in build.properties, but nothing changed. 2. JDK version differs on dev machine and server - In my case, both the dev machine and the server has exactly the same version (1.5.0_06). Is there any other ideas what could be wrong?
    Thanks,
    Peter Neumann

    Hi All,
The problem was caused by the JDev version I used.
I used the version 10.1.3.4., but found a thread which suggested that I should use 10.1.3.3. instead. And it works!
Here is the thread where I found this info:

  • Taskflow based on human task and commons logging error

    Hi,
Is the logging changed after the soa update. When I deploy the humantask taskflow to the soa-infra I got .the following error
Caused by: org.apache.commons.logging.LogConfigurationException: org.apache.commons.logging.LogConfigurationException: Invalid class loader hierarchy. You have more than one version of 'org.apache.commons.logging.Log' visible, which is not allowed. (Caused by org.apache.commons.logging.LogConfigurationException: Invalid class loader hierarchy. I had to remove the commons logging library from the project and add this to the orion-application.xml

    I don't use log4j , I just created a fusion webapp where I add taskflow based on a human task that's it.
If I remove the commons logging then deployment fails.
